19. Something Different Between Us

At exactly 7pm Narendra came home. When the man passed the entrance, he stopped because he found Glacia. The woman sat in her wheelchair facing Narendra. Their distance was still about 5 meters, but Narendra could clearly see a full look of annoyance fixed on him.

Narendra continued until he stopped right in front of Glacia. Glacia was still looking at him with a swooping eyebrow laden with emotion.

"What's wrong?" ask Narendra. He slightly observed the appearance of Glacia who tonight was wrapped in a soft sleeping dress.

Still with a scowling face, Glacia voiced a rather loud-sounding cry. "Where was it this afternoon?! Didn't I tell you to go home?!"

Silent. Narendra did not answer and instead fixated on looking at him. Glacia feels strange on her own with Narendra's attitude lately. He didn't know if it was a man's look of pity on such a helpless woman, or if there was indeed something wrong with Glacia's face.

"Why silence? You dare challenge me now?" Glacia still refused to stop.

Narendra breathed heavily. "I'm busy" he answered short. "Why are you staying here? It's cold in here." He glanced at the open door, and at once a servant came to close it.

Narendra is shocked when Glacia throws him a magazine book. It seems that the woman waited a long time before Narendra came home.

"It sucks!" That was all Glacia said before turning around to go enter the elevator to return to the room.

Narendra looked at his wife's departure, then bent over to take the magazine Glacia hempas.

"Why is it that when there's a problem like this, you just want to wait for me at the door, Glacy?" mumbling slowly.

On the other hand, Glacia closed the door of her room violently. He then pointed his wheelchair towards the balcony and fluttered there. The night sky is so bright. The moonlight shone brightly through the window of his room which was shrouded in dim light.

In the middle of the daydream, the door of Glacia's room opened. Glacia knew who came because she smelled her perfume. Only Narendra, the man Glacia knew never changed the fragrance.

The man stood behind her. Glacia did not know what Narendra was doing because he himself somehow did not dare to look over. Glacia felt that there was something different between her and Naren. Could this be the effect because Glacia is too good these days?

"How are you feeling today? Are there any complaints?" Narendra's low voice broke the silence.

"Wina said you missed your medication this afternoon."

"Have you had dinner?" ask Narendra.

"Your face is pale" replied Narendra.

But it didn't affect Glacia. He shook his head and continued to look at Narendra until the man looked back at him for a long time.

"Don't pity me" said Glacia again. His voice sounded smooth in the middle of the night wind.

You've been too good to me all this time.

"I don't like being pitied."

"I don't pity you" replied Narendra.

Glacia. "You feel sorry for me. I know you don't dare leave me because of my condition. You feel like you have to take care of me because of Papa. Aye, right?"

Narendra was silent, but his eyes glared at Glacia intricately, and somehow Glacia seemed to find a glimmer of guilt there.

On the other hand Narendra tried to control himself. Glacia does not know that the accident started from a message Narendra sent Gallen to remove the man's focus.

Indirectly, Narendra is the cause of Glacia's current condition.

"Naren, if I help you get Lizy back, do you want to?"
