Glacia opened her eyes slowly, the first thing she saw was Narendra's face smiling at close range. Glacia was briefly stunned before Narendra grabbed her to calm down.
"Hey, relax."
Glacia's breath panicked. He is not used to their intensity at the moment. Glacia even realized her head was sleeping with Narendra's arm.
"N-Naren" whispered Glacia quietly.
"Nothing happened, we just slept together." Narendra who understood Glacia's anxiety explained. "You sleep when we kiss."
Glacia threw away her embarrassed look. Yesterday afternoon they kissed. Then, it means Glacia slept so soundly that she just woke up now?
Suddenly Narendra gave a short chuckle, although at first glance it only sounded like an amused grunt. "I didn't know kissing could make someone sleepy."
Glacia stammered trying to issue a defense. "I-I was already sleepy."
Narendra just nodded.
"Hungry?"
"Of course," Glacia said.
"Then get up. We take a shower and then we have breakfast." Narendra got up, while Glacia glared in horror.
"What did you say?"
Narendra turned his head, still unconscious until he chuckled after knowing what Glacia was thinking. "I mean we take a shower. You shower here, I shower in my room of course."
He knew Glacia was still not too comfortable with him. Narendra can understand, and he will try slowly.
"Then I go out. I'll get Weni here."
Glacia said nothing and let Narendra out of his room. After the door closed, Glacia squeezed her hair slowly with a frustrated face.
What's he been doing? Stupid, why could it be lulled away by Narendra's kiss. Now, the man is even more hopeful and assumes Glacia has paved the way for their relationship.
Glacia had finished her bath and was well dressed. He was descending into the dining room with Weni. Glacia threw out a breath, this is really difficult. He did not understand why Narendra could have a proposal like yesterday. They hardly ever talk except divorce.
"Hhhh ..." Glacia again let out a rough breath, to the point that Weni noticed him in surprise.
The elevator door opened, and Glacia cursed in her heart when she found Narendra sitting down for coffee at the dinner table. Not yet Glacia had the intention to turn around, Narendra had already caught his whereabouts.
"Come here. The food is ready." The voice still sounded flat, but the warm and sincere accent Glacia could feel there.
Sighing again. In the end inevitably Glacia moved forward towards the dining table. He was about to sit on the far side of Narendra, as was common. But Narendra's call made him stop and turn.
"Sit here" said the man.
Weni glanced at the silent madam. The situation not only made Glacia awkward, but the atmosphere of the room also felt different.
Actually Glacia had realized from earlier, Narendra had prepared a place beside him for Glacia. It was evident that one seat there had been lost somewhere. Apparently Narendra was earnest with his intention of approaching Glacia.
Weni pushed the Glacia wheelchair plan right next to Narendra. After that retreat and let Glacia eat quietly with her husband.
Glacia gulped nervously. He still felt strange about the change in atmosphere between them. Narendra keeps a piece of sandwich on Glacia's plate. Once again Glacia was surprised because for the breakfast menu even Narendra knew what he liked.
"Let's eat," he said. Narendra put away his coffee glass and started eating breakfast at the table.
In fact, Glacia deliberately lingered in the bath and prepared that when she came down, Narendra was gone. But, in fact, all his efforts are useless. Narendra was still a henchman sitting around waiting for Glacia to have breakfast together.
Exhaling tired, Glacia chose to give up and just eat her food. He was not tasteful, the mood was really managed to be torn apart by Narendra.
***
Narendra really showed his sincerity for the progress of their relationship. The last few days the man had been getting more and more attention on Glacia. He did not hesitate to enter Glacia's room after work, even repeatedly sleeping there.
Glacia even stress itself saw the attitude of Narendra who was getting here more and more shows concern. Either Glacia has to deal with how. He himself was still confused by his heart.
This afternoon he was relaxing in the sun house, tracing romance novels in hopes of getting rid of the shadows of his problems with Narendra. In fact, the more you read, the more absurd. Glacia had chosen the wrong reading theme, should he have read books on war strategy, encyclopedias, or geography.
The romantic story makes Glacia put herself and Narendra as the main characters. That's bonkers.
"Papa?"
"really. He's waiting inside."
Glacia closed her book while thinking for a moment. What did John find him.
"Glacy, how are you? Papa misses you very much, son," John said as soon as they met in the living room.
Glacia smiled back at the embrace of the father. "good. How's papa himself?"
"Good."
John hugged Glacia for a long time. "Glacy," she called him in a serious voice.
"Yes, Papa?"
John took off his arms and looked at Glacia, holding her shoulder. Just a minute passed by John still seemed hesitant to say his sentence.
"Why, Pa?" ask Glacia.
"Actually ..."
"Papa actually has a plan to take you abroad for treatment."
Glacia.
"I mean Papa?"
John took his hand off Glacia's shoulder. The middle-aged man threw out his breath hard, he then lowered his head with both elbows resting on his knees.
"Papa may not have told you yet, but Papa is sure you are also aware of how you feel."
Back silence. Glacia looked at her father. John seems like a lot of thought these days, one of which Glacia realized because of him.
Glacia then nodded in understanding. "I know, I know, Pa."
John looked at his daughter. Glacia was the same, returning the father's gaze with a deep look.
"The banker's back, right?"
"You know?" whispered John.
Glacia smiled. "I'm not stupid to not be aware of the symptoms."
Getir, that's what John is feeling right now. He lowered his head massaging the base of his nose until then a slow sob came out of his mouth.
"I'm sorry, Papa, son."
"Papa is not wrong" said Glacia.
John shakes. He really looks weak now. His sorrow spilled before Glacia. He wanted to be angry, why God had to give his daughter pain. Have not healed his legs, now they are faced with a problem that is more violent and risky.
Wiping away her tears, John looked up at Glacia. His hands stretched out rubbing the side of the princess's face. "You're gonna be fine, Glacy. Papa promise. You'll be fine."
In his heart Glacia smiled bitterly. He nodded in order to eliminate a little of his father's anxiety. "Glacy believes, really."
Even though he was not really hopeful.
Suddenly John asked again. "Glacia, do you still want a divorce from Narendra?"
