Serving a Paralyzed Wife

Serving a Paralyzed Wife
69. Forbidden Feelings Rafael

The next day, Lizy gets a letter from the city. He squeezed the letter after reading the contents. Suddenly the taste of breakfast in front of him felt bland.

Lizy throws the fork he holds until it clinks to the table and floor. He snorted furiously before taking the batter and then burning the lump of letter until it melted unceremoniously.

"Glacia, why does luck always follow you?" his his hiss was sharp, staring at the blazing flames still burning on the table.

"Aarrayghh! Brak!" Lizy stood up after hitting the table. He ruffled his waist with an unusually irritated look.

Vienna has not been here, it is too risky if the girl often goes out and meets him who is out of town. Lizy hopes the lowly maid knows what to do. Because if he doesn't, Lizy will make him regret for life.

"Look, you've messed up my life. So, I won't let you guys be happy just like that" Lizy muttered.

Glacia and Narendra can't be together. If Lizy can't have the man, then Glacia can't have him either. But, Lizy will keep trying to get Narendra back after Glacia dies.

"Haha ... Haha ...."

The sound of Eliza Pataya's laughter resounded in the small house. His figure that everyone admired for his gentleness and elegance was now lost changed demon woman who thirsted for the love of the former. He wants Narendra. Lizy was really determined to take back what he had. Because Narendra Hutabarat only belongs to Lizy one, want it then or now.

Rafael walks into the hospital. He nodded when he met some people he knew as fellow medics. Raphael did not come here to work, but to see someone who he had not stopped thinking about for a few days.

Rafael had just returned from Beijing today, when he heard about the kidnapping incident involving Glacia as a victim. Of course Rafael was surprised, especially the name Eliza, her fiance was also mentioned as one of the masterminds.

Indeed, the new media announced his initials only. But Rafael was able to guess because he heard Lizy was also suddenly lost from circulation. The police made him a fugitive, and the woman is somehow where she is now.

From a distance, Raphael saw John Martadinata talking to his guards. They numbered four, and it seems to have been commissioned by John just now.

He paused for a moment before continuing his approach to the man. "Master John, how are you?" greet Rafael politely.

John turned around when he heard a voice behind him. For a moment his expression seemed confused, until Rafael politely introduced himself. "I'm Rafael Adiwangsa."

Only then did John nod, accompanied by a long 'oh' murmur. "Ah, are you the son of Satria Adiwangsa?"

Rafael nodded. "true."

"What's it gonna take to get here?"

Rafael's reflex glanced at Glacia's closed outpatient room. It certainly could not be separated from the attention of John.

"You want to see my daughter?" ask John.

Rafael smiled slightly. "If it's allowed."

"certainly could. Please."

Narendra had no idea what his in-laws meant to bring this man here. He glanced at the two as John opened the door.

"Please, there's my daughter-in-law. I'm sorry I can't keep you company, because there's still something very important that I have to take care of" John told Rafael to come in.

Rafael nodded in understanding. He said thank you before John went to close the door from the outside. They did not realize, there the man threw his breath slowly. John knew there was something between the young men. Between Glacia, Narendra, Lizy, and also Rafael.

Somehow her daughter's life got this complicated.

Rafael was silent for a moment, looking at Narendra who was also staring at him flatly. He smiled before approaching and greeted the man kindly. "How are you?"

Narendra did not answer. Instead, he asked back in a cold tone. "What are you doing here for?"

"Ah." Rafael chuckles awkwardly. He glanced at Glacia who was asleep on the bed. Looking from the few tools on her body, it seemed like the woman had yet to fully recover from the critical period. "Of course I want to see Glacia. How's he doing?"

Rafael gave up on small talk, nodded with a faint smile and then dissolved in silence. He handed over a bouquet of flowers which he had brought to Narendra. Obviously Narendra glanced more and more at the man sharply.

Reluctant to cause a commotion, Raphael immediately said. "I don't think of any other gift for the sick. Sorry if my gift offended you."

Narendra grunts. The man was still faithfully sitting beside his wife's bed. He looked up regardless of the flowers that Rafael gave. "Why should flowers?"

"Because I happened to pass by the florist."

"You can buy some fruit" said Narendra.

Rafael. He smiled awkwardly to find Narendra's jealousy so obvious. Rafael retracted the bouquet of flowers while sighing faintly.

His eyes glanced back at the sleeping Glacia. "Is he conscious?" ask Rafael.

"What are you asking?"

Rafael was completely grimaced by Narendra's attitude. "Why are you so childish? I'm just here to see him." Eventually, he lost his patience.

Narendra did not answer. His sharp eyes then glanced at Rafael who was standing beside his chair. "You like my wife" the man said flatly.

Rafael looked at hearing that. His voice could not avoid that Narendra's guess was correct. Gaining Rafael's composure, Narendra finally chuckles cynically while throwing his face away, again observing Glacia who is still asleep in peace.

"If so, why?" rafael murmured softly. His eyes looked half confused. Perhaps he did not expect Narendra to realize his forbidden feelings.

"You're still asking why while your status is someone's fiancee?" Narendra. They stand up until now facing each other. Both of them looked serious when they looked at each other.

Rafael looked back at Narendra. "Me and Lizy—"

"I know you don't love her" Narendra said. "You are bound by matchmaking and business relationships. But I don't care. You still can't like Glacia because she's my wife" she said firmly.

Rafael fell silent. He slightly gulped as he nodded his eyes in the other direction. "We're both adults, and we know how hard it is to live with someone who doesn't want to." He looked back at Narendra. "And I think you're selfish for pushing yourself too hard on Glacia, while we know, Glacia always wanted a divorce from you."

Rafael began to dare to retaliate. It made Narendra snort cynically with an unexpected look. "You've come that far to observe my wife. But even so I'll reiterate, that you can't like Glacia, and you're not worth exploring our private lives."

Rafael seemed undaunted, he looked at Narendra no less flat.

"Instead of taking care of your demonic fiance" Narendra continued. "Before I kill him myself."

The two are still facing each other, even the tension can not be separated enveloping them. The atmosphere of the nursery that had originally felt quiet and calm, was now even quiet with a gripping aura.

Rafael did not speak again, he looked back at Narendra with a tense look, before finally deciding to leave with the flowers back.

Narendra glanced at the man until he disappeared shutting the door. His gaze then fell on Glacia, there was nothing Narendra said other than to return to the chair, easing his rumbling heart waiting for Glacia to wake up.

While Raphael was just coming out, he met John in the hallway. The man walked from the opposite direction and warmly greeted him.

"Rafael, are you going home yet?" John looked down at the bouquet of flowers in Raphael's hands.

The young man smiled back with a slightly stiff, unsociable look when they first met. "Yes, Sir. Looks like Glacia is still sleeping, I am reluctant to disturb her. Then I'm leaving."

John nodded in understanding. "Oh, okay. See you soon."

Now it was Rafael's turn to nod. He continued and disappeared when he entered the elevator.

John was still staring at the elevator door that had just closed. He then threw out his breath while clucking. "The child can still be polite with such a face. Looks like something happened between him and Narendra earlier" John murmured.

Arriving at the lobby, Rafael throws his flowers into the trash. The man's mouth was so flat that those who knew him did not dare to say hello.

One more, this was the first time they saw the expression of a stiff and frozen Rafael Adiwangsa. What the hell happened to him?
