"Damn. Why is there rain in broad daylight like this?" Krishna grumbling.
He was busy standing beside the window, staring at the back yard of the house that was muddled with rain. The sound of lightning was earthy, and sometimes the thunder was startling.
The dark sky made the lighting in the house dim, while Thomas forbade Krishna to turn on the lights to save electricity.
The boy is now struggling with cooking. Krisna himself doubted what Thomas' cooking was like, but for now the feeling of hunger is more important than taste.
"Do you think the police are looking for us?" ask Krishna. He looked at Thomas. Thomas did not reply, but his shoulder sniffed indifferently at the sign that he did not think much of it.
Krishna snorted, the corner of his lips tilted as he continued. "After this I will make sure that Narendra will not be able to live quietly. Then the disabled woman ..." Krishna chuckles. "He is indeed the main point that makes Narendra's calm shed."
Thomas remained silent. Before long he put a plate containing rabbit meat that has been roasted, as well as vegetables as if they had been getting from the forest. Thomas also bought rice this morning. I don't know where he has money.
The fragrance was smelled delicious by Krishna, but as he approached and tasted it, the rabbit meat was tasteless, there was almost no salt.
Thomas also interrupted. "The ingredients are limited, don't protest if it's bad."
The boy sat down in front of Krishna, took the rice and the potluck, and ate quietly. Ignoring Krisna who was still silent in her chair.
Elsewhere, Narendra is sitting in a car. His eyes were on the forest not far from the roadside. His roar was flat and calm, occasionally he glanced at the circular clock in hand, then began to count down.
"Five, four, three, two, one."
Aaaauuuu ...!!!
The sound of wolf howls sounded instantly. Narendra grinned, just then Krishna and Thomas also heard until they stopped eating.
Krishna looked outside, then at Thomas.
"Is there always a lot of wild animals?" Krishna was afraid of himself. The weather was like a storm. Krisna could see the trees swaying violently as if they were about to fall.
Thomas suddenly stood up, then walked towards the back door.
"Where are you going?" ask Krishna.
"I forgot to throw away the rest of the rabbit. If not immediately buried, most likely the wolf will come here," he said lazily.
"Outside the rain. You're not afraid that beast will pounce on you?"
"From their voices they are far away." Thomas no longer paid attention to Krishna. He opened the door and actually went out to throw away the rabbit pieces.
Krishna snorted no matter what. Whether Thomas is in danger or not, after all Krishna plans to go to town to find Lizy, winning a payment that is still less than the agreement.
Now his men are all imprisoned, so Krishna can enjoy the money for himself.
Long silent, Krishna had not yet found Thomas' arrival, even until he finished eating Thomas still did not return.
"Where is the boy?" he murmured, while standing up to take a dirty plate and store it in the sink. He was lazy to wash, let Thomas do it later.
Krisna was about to walk out of the kitchen, but then her steps stopped. He looked at the tightly closed back door. Krisna did not care, but did not know why her legs turned and walked there.
"Sucks. Where is he really? If the boy dies, tomorrow I can't enjoy breakfast" Thomas snorted. "Although the cooking is not good, he's the only one I can count on now."
Krisna opened the back door of the house. His eyes rolled because he found Thomas nowhere. But the rabbit's cut is gone. Where did the boy bury him?
"Thomas?!" Krishna called out loudly.
"Thomas! Thoms!"
There is no reason, nor the sound of Krishna racing with the rumbling rain. Damn it, where did that punk go?
Krishna's eyes lead to the forest. Don't tell me Thomas buried that rabbit piece in there? Stupid jerk. In this kind of weather he still dared to enter the forest? Not to mention they heard the howling of wolves.
Exhaling, Krishna closed the door and went back inside. Again, his hand stopped. Krisna seemed to think a long time before then he decided to break out through the rain. Right, Krishna's gonna find Thomas in the woods.
Krisna did not realize that a smile was now engraved on the corner of someone's lips. She has been waiting for Krishna ever since.
***
"Thomas!"
"Thom!"
"Thomas!"
Krisna's voice echoed in the rain. The atmosphere of the forest is a little dark. It walks among lush trees as well as shrubs. Krishna did not understand why he had to care about Thomas who was nobody.
But, Krishna had to admit he felt a frequency with the boy. Very different from Narendra who is always at odds in any case.
"Thomas!" Krishna called back.
He suddenly stopped because he found a hoe lying down. It must be Thomas's. Where is the boy now?
Krishna spread his head around the forest. Thunder still rumbled breaking the sky above. He again walked through the lush trees, until not long ...
"Thomas?" Krishna stopped. His feet were nailed in place with his eyes pointed forward.
The man he had been looking for was now standing not far from him. Their distance was about 5 meters, and Krishna could see Thomas who was also staring back at him.
The boy looked at him flatly as usual. But, there was a sharp highlight whose complexity Krishna could not understand. The two stood facing each other under the rain. I don't know when the sky will stop spilling its water. It's still daytime, should the sun be shining brightly.
Thomas was silent. His mouth was silent as if there was no intention to answer. Instead of that, Thomas makes another voice. "You know? It's the anniversary of my mother's death."
His heavy voice sounded like a murmur in the middle of the rushing water. Thomas does look cold, but if traced deeper, his face is not only wet because of the rain. The young man's eyes look red when approached.
Krishna's clucking. "You're long because of that. Why mourn in the middle of the forest? Hey, did you forget there's a wolf? It might even be other beasts," snorted Krishna.
Thomas was still looking at Krishna with his complicated gaze. He looked in a direction to their left. "I buried it myself. It's there."
Krishna followed Thomas's direction. He still did not understand the plot of their conversation. For Krisna to know, Thomas's feelings are currently turbulent, probably because it is the day of his mother's death.
Krishna grunts. Why are people so sensitive to their mothers? Narendra is the same. Even just because the woman who gave birth to him died, Narendra destroyed Krishna to become the homeless he is today. The child does not know himself. Know that he just vanished Narendra since infancy.
Krishna raised an eyebrow as Thomas turned back to him.
"Since we lived together. She was dumped by a man because she was pregnant. I hate it, why does my mom have to deal with married men? It's clear he won't take responsibility, and he'll eventually throw us out."
Krishna's clucking. "Hey, that's enough! Why did you turn out like a child? So laughable. Come back! It's dangerous here!"
One thing Krishna could conclude, Thomas was the son of an illegitimate relationship. Krisna suddenly remembered the past. He gulped as Thomas' story reminded Krishna of a memory.
He shook his head and went back to calling Thomas. "Rain seems like it's still a long time! Let's go!"
God fucking. Krisna felt like she was picking up her naughty son to play.
Thomas was still reluctant to move, and Krishna gave up, he clucked, then turned around to leave Thomas.
"He used to be so proud of his property. But, now I'm happy because our degrees don't make any difference." Thomas grinned. "He fell into poverty, he was crushed by his own son of pride. What's more, a vagrant and an inmate targeted by the police. Haha."
Krishna was on the spot. His face suddenly stiffened as he slowly turned around. Thomas was looking at her with a meaningful grin.
"What do you mean?" ask Krisna slowly. Why does he feel involved in the words that Thomas makes?
"You think?" Thomas asked back. His chin was raised with a defiant look.
"Thomas," call Krishna full of warnings.
Thomas smiled in anguish. "You don't wonder who my mother is?"
"For what?" furious, Krishna looked at Thomas sharply. "Your problems are none of my business."
"Wrong. This problem actually exists because of you," Thomas replied no less sharply. "Have you forgotten the woman you left 21 years ago?"
Thomas drew near, his smile wide with his eyes holding Krishna motionless. "I am the baby you were trying to eliminate."
Thomas whispered along with thunderous lightning. Just like the heart of Krishna who seemed to have just been hit by Godam. What the fuck? What kind of fate is playing with Krishna this time?
Unasked, Krishna's memory spirals back decades. Marriage, infidelity, then the pregnancy of one of her dark ladies is so annoying.
The woman was one of Krisna's employees at the company. Krisna often slept with him when fighting with his wife, who was none other than Narendra's mother. But unexpectedly the woman was actually pregnant, even though Krishna had told her to take the pill.
Outraged, Krishna told the woman to abort the content. He did not want the illegitimate child born later to be his problem in the future.
"Now do you remember?" Thomas asked still with a sneer. He laughed mockingly. "I don't know, it turns out you were so stupid that you easily fell into my trap."
"You should realize that my purpose in bringing you here is to eliminate you" Thomas continued, sharp and emphatic.
Krishna stood with his hands clenched. Apparently, the feeling he felt from the beginning was not wrong, that Thomas's eyes seemed familiar in Krishna's memory. The young man resembled his mother, Krishna's mistress in the past.
"What is this damn destiny? Apparently, it would have been better if I had killed your mother long ago," hissed Krishna, which made Thomas' anger even more bubbling.
Thomas's face hardened as he suddenly jumped up and attacked Krishna abruptly. "Yesaaaa ..."
Bruk!
An unprepared Krishna eventually falls down with Thomas. The two are now wrestling on grassy ground in the middle of the forest. Rain as if there was no stopping flushed with wind and lightning, as if supporting the fight of father and son who want to kill each other.
"Damn it! Buk!" Krishna hit Thomas, and instead Thomas attacked Krishna blindly.
"Death, you fucking man! A human like you is simply not worth living!" hiss Thomas. His jaw tightened with eyes pulling at Krishna who was now under him.
Thomas strangled the man until Krishna choked repeatedly. He had difficulty breathing, plus rainwater that kept falling on his face.
"Uhuk! Le-Deliver!" Krishna began to fall. He must admit that Thomas's ability to fight is almost professional.
Thomas ignored Krishna's plea, so he pulled out a knife from behind his back pocket, and began swinging it towards Krishna.
Dor's!
The sound of gunfire stopped Thomas' intention, until the knife he was holding now hung in the air. Thomas gasped, he then looked back, where a man in a gray suit stood expressionlessly there.
Krisna coughed after Thomas's strangulation slipped from her neck. The man fell silent, then followed Thomas's gaze.
Krishna's jaw instantly hardens. His eyes drew sharp with teeth grinding. "Narendra," his his hiss was almost without a sound.
Narendra smiled thinly, his face flat back to look at Krishna. Both of the men's hands were side-by-side, with one of them holding a gun.
"If there's a nomination for the man his kids hate the most, it's probably you."
