Chapter 44 - A Glimpse of Hope

'Zraaasssh!!! Jleeebb!!!'

"Groooaaaaaarrrr!!!"

Several adventurers appeared to attack the black-colored big bear. A monster known as Ursaloth.

"Shy, so thick! Dracon!" shouted one of the adventurers after pulling back his spear that stuck in Ursaloth's body. Even so, not much blood dripped from the monster.

"Surge!" shouted Drakon who was running fast while preparing the fist coated with iron gloves.

With perfect horses, Drakon stomped his feet and dealt a powerful blow using his right hand.

'Blaaaaarrrr!!!'

Not only was the wind strong, but the ground around where Drakon was standing was also visibly crushed by his blow.

Even so....

"Grooooaayarrr!!!" ursaloth shouted while swinging his right hand.

'Sraaasshhh!!!'

Drakon was thrown 10 meters away with a deep claw wound on his left hand.

"Kugghh! Even with my strongest blow, it doesn't work?" ask Drakon to himself.

Before long, a greenish glow began to envelop Drakon's body. The source of the light was none other than Lyra and some other magicians who used healing magic.

Recovering Drakon's wounds slowly.

Lafael on the other hand who was leading a magic squad with high attack ability, started to bombard the Ursaloth.

Explosions of various fire magic hit Ursaloth's body. A crushing attack from several witches who were supposed to be able to inflict fatal wounds. Including a Ursaloth.

But their opponent this time, was not a normal monster.

Ursaloth in front of them was not only much bigger than usual. But it is also stronger, faster and much tougher.

The explosion of the barrage of fire magic that hit him just now did not inflict any fatal injuries on that Ursaloth.

Only able to give a slight burn that scorches the hair on both arms.

Guild Master Selena who saw all of that became convinced.

In addition to Rune "Vor" and "Vel", the sword Selena has two other runes, "Glyn" which has the shape of several letters with sharp angles. Provides increased weapon sharpness when activated.

Then the rune "Levyn" which has a shape resembling a gentle breeze. Making an object that had this rune become much lighter when activated.

Selena could easily slash Ursaloth's right arm. Although his slash was lacking in depth and was only able to give light injuries, it was enough to give hope to the other adventurers.

"Wuooooooohh! We can win!"

"As long as there's a Guild Master, we'll be fine!" shouted the other adventurers.

The second squad and the third squad that had just caught up with the main squad looked shocked after finding the fight had already begun.

Quickly, all the remaining adventurers began to join the fight. While the Rover group and other scouts secure the location to prevent interference from other monsters.

'Zraaassshh! Oh klaaangg! Aarrrr!! Albarre!!'

Dozens of adventurers attacked Ursaloth simultaneously. Without giving him any pause at all to rest.

Even so, that Ursaloth still had enough strength to endure.

'Blaaaarrr!! Zraaasshhh!!'

Using the blows of both hands, Ursaloth was able to blow away several adventurers at once who were around him.

While the arm swing with its large claws was able to split the body of several other adventurers.

The body of the adventurer who had been split in two was simply thrown around the other adventurer.

But they don't falter at all. They became even more angry at Ursaloth and intended to avenge the death of their comrade.

"Damn you!!!" shouted Ironclad who immediately swung his greatsword.

But because it was made of ordinary steel and did not have any runes, his sword was unable to penetrate too deeply into Ursaloth's skin.

Just stick a little, about 1cm only.

"Curtain! Isn't your skin too thick huh?!"

Having not had time to draw his sword, the Ursaloth immediately struck Ironclad's body firmly.

Feeling that this was the right opponent, Lucius immediately drew his sword while draining a portion of his Mana to activate the three runes present.

The rune letters began to emit a thin light with a slightly reddish color due to the Steel's infernal metal.

And soon after, Lucius used fire magic to envelop his sword with a burning red flame.

Instead of being melted or damaged, the sword seemed to be getting stronger due to direct contact with the fire element.

'Yet!!!'

Finally, Lucius leaped up and twisted his body in the air while swinging his sword. He pointed it right at Ursaloth's neck.

'Zraaaaassshhh!!!'

His powerful slash caused a half-circular hot flame to be shot out in the direction of his slash. Gave an additional wound to the black bear's neck.

"Grooooaayarrr!!!"

Ursaloth's cry was so clear that he felt a great pain from Lucius' attack just now.

"Lucy!"

"Buck!"

Both Selena and Ironclad are shocked to see Lucius coming. Moreover, looking at the brat who should be an F class it had considerable power to control the fire element on his weapon.

Elemental Infusions. A high-level magic technique that is said to only be mastered by level B magicians and above.

A technique by which users can insert their magic elements into a weapon to amplify its attacks.

"Lucius this.... Is he really F class?" selena asked herself.

'Tapp!! Bruck!!! Ohhhhhai!!!'

With a series of swift movements, Lucius held onto the hilt of the Ironclad sword, kicked Ursaloth back to pull the Ironclad sword, then threw the sword back.

Ironclad who saw him could not believe at all, that the boy who had been fighting with him, had become this strong. It was even strong enough to be able to kick Ursaloth backwards by about a meter.

An achievement that not even Drakon's full-power punch could achieve.

'Jleeebb!!!'

Precisely, the Ironclad greatsword was stuck on the ground in front of Ironclad itself.

Selena, who was still at the forefront, began to see a great hope after Lucius' arrival.
