The Demon Queen's Disciple

The Demon Queen's Disciple
Chapter 86 - Rumors

"Well.... Huh.... Huh...."

Lucius looked so exhausted at this training ground. His body seemed to be soaked in sweat. His muscles were too hot.

All of that happened because Lucius kept swinging his sword for 4 more hours in a row since returning from the Academy today.

"Fuckin' church.... Even in class today?" lucius complained about what happened today. Where about 20 Holy Knights filled Lucius' usually quiet classroom.

All of that with reason to watch over him.

"I told you I wouldn't do anything!" annoyed screams.

To channel that frustration, Lucius is seen using a sword technique taught by Carmilla during her time in the Prism of Eternity.

'Zraaatt!!! Zraaatt!!! Zraaatt!!!'

Michelle who had just entered this training room until was taken aback by Lucius's sword technique just now.

A technique where the sword seemed to slash from 3 directions simultaneously. Cut the wooden doll wearing iron armor with ease.

"Sister? Just now.." asked Michelle curiously.

"Was that?" lucius replied with a smile. In his heart he said something else.

'Damn it! I accidentally exposed the Formless Sword Technique to Michelle! What should I use as an excuse?!'

The Formless Sword Technique. A technique that is said to have originated from the sword master of Carmilla's acquaintance.

Of course, that sword master was a Devil named Mordrek.

If Carmilla was the one who was crazy about magic to the point of becoming too powerful, the same would be true of Mordrek. He was just crazy about the sword.

The level of Mordrek's love for swords could be considered to reach a level of severe obsession. And one of the results was that Formless Sword Technique.

A formless sword technique. Making its user able to control the sword slash was like a gentle but sharp wind dance.

Lucius still vividly remembered Carmilla's words while training him in that dimensional prison.

"Swielding techniques will never defeat magic, for at least the first 10 to 15 minutes of the fight. After that, the sword technique will always win because it does not require Mana to use it."

Those were Carmilla's words while training Lucius the sword technique.

Unexpectedly, a technique that was trained just in case when Lucius could not use magic, could be useful in this kind of situation.

"Sister?" michelle asked once more after seeing her brother speechless without a word.

"Well! Yep! Damn right! I used wind magic to increase my attack speed just now!" lucius answered in panic.

Unexpectedly, Michelle accepted Lucius' stupid reasoning rawly.

"Is that so? Too bad my affinity for wind magic is quite low. But I also want to learn to sword, if you're willing to teach me, brother?" michelle replied with a friendly smile.

From behind the door, Carmilla's figure was seen standing with a slightly irritated face.

"Michelle's. Didn't you say you just wanted a drink? Why so long?"

"Sorry!"

"Hurry to finish your business. We still have a lesson to learn." replied Carmilla who immediately left this room.

Lucius who saw such a Carmilla figure reminded him of his former self. Always scolded by Carmilla in training. Even so, Carmilla's treatment of Michelle was still quite gentle.

"In that case, I'll go back to studying first, brother!" michelle said with a big smile on her face. He waved his hand as he ran away from this training room.

"Spirit." - Lucius.

"Definitely! Anyway, I want to get into Damacia Academy!"

"Eh?"

Not having time to ask any further, Michelle had left Lucius alone in this room.

"Right as well, it's gonna be the end of the year exam soon?! Goddamnit! I haven't studied!!!" lucius shouted in panic.

............

The next day, Lucius left for the Academy....

"Hehehe, look who is this?"

"Who beat William so lucky?"

"I hear your strength is weakening. What if we fight against us?"

Having just entered the main hall of this academy, Lucius had been greeted by three students from his fifth year. Same with William himself.

On their left chests was the letter B with a beautiful silver color. It's not wrong that they were William's classmates.

"Can I help you?" lucius asked with an annoyed face as well as fatigue. He was still unfamiliar with his new vision, making it quite difficult to sleep.

And after having such difficulties, there were still people who bothered him?

"Of course fight! The duel! Look, I'll also be risking my family's treasure!"

"Wuaaah! Will Lucius the usurper of the noble family's treasure return to action?!"

"Yahaha!!!"

The news of Lucius seizing Central Plaza from the Goldencrest family is of course already very famous in this academy. Even though the one who risked her was the Brown family, still the end result was given to the Lucius family.

Lucius' patience was really running out. And when he almost drew the sword of Mithril on his left waist....

"Stop. What are you guys doing?" asked a woman with silver hair and purplish eyes.

He was wearing an academy uniform with a Student Council robe on it. From under his cloak, Lucius could see the letter A in beautiful red.

The two are none other than Luna and Ethan.

'Damn it, should I really be better off ditching this academy?' lucius thought he was annoyed after seeing the endless trouble approaching him.

"Sorry!" shouted one of the people who was bothering Lucius. The three immediately ran in fear away from the two most important people in the Student Council.

Slowly, Luna walked towards Lucius. Activating his magic eyes to see Lucius' Mana capacity directly.

"I heard from Professor Levaria that you lost your powers. No, rather hold it? A special exercise?" ask Luna curiously.

"I'm sorry I'm in a hurry." replied Lucius briefly who immediately intended to walk past the two.

Leaving that troublesome matter.

But....

'Sreeett!!!'

Ethan held onto Lucius' shoulder firmly.

'Damn it! This guy?!' lucius shouted in surprise after realizing Ethan's incredible physical strength.

"The two are talking. Please listen first." said Ethan briefly.

"Cih, okay. What do you want?" lucius asked briefly.

Luna was seen smiling faintly hearing Lucius' reply just now.

"Really, it's weird. The technique to suppress Mana does exist, but it wipes out Mana's capacity to look like an ordinary person? I'm not sure such a thing exists, Lucius." said Luna with a light laugh.

"Sorry, but the world is big enough. You won't be able to figure out everything out there." Lucius replied trying to trick the Student Council's chairman.

"Is that so? Then I have to prove it."

"Prove? What's?"

Lucius was puzzled over Luna's statement just now.

After a while, Luna appears to pat Ethan on the shoulder. It was as if he was giving it a code.

"If there really is such a technique, and you are actually holding back your power, then I only need to force you to use it right? After all, your power is not lost, is it?" luna said with a scary smile.

'It's bad. If he challenges me to a duel.... My cover will be exposed. Refused it? What reason? What if he offers a gift beyond reason?'

Lucius's concerns are true. It's just....

"Ethan, duel with Lucius. Prove whether he is actually hiding his strength, or has indeed lost his strength" Luna said with a widening smile.

"Understanding." retorts Ethan briefly.

'Damn it! I guessed it! Then....'

"Well, and don't even think about resisting this duel. If you win, I'll give you all the Frostbourne I have. Including the fort in the North."

'It's bad.... The offer is too big. Refuse in the midst of a crowd like this.' Lucius thought while paying attention to the conditions around him. Where a lot of students gathered around the three people.

"When you lose, join the Academy Council."

'Deg! The deg!!'

Lucius had truly been cornered. Both losing and winning, Lucius had certainly gained a large profit while Luna's side only gained losses from this duel.

Refused it? Probably a wise choice. But the entire academy would know the fact that Lucius was a weak coward who did not even dare to accept a Duel in which he would definitely benefit.

At once admitted that he had lost his strength right in front of Luna directly.

More than that....

Michelle will be coming to this academy soon. What would happen if his army knew that his brother was just a coward who avoided the duel that should have been so profitable?

All that was in Lucius' mind was one. That is the shadow where his sister will live the same academy life as he used to be.

Humiliated, shunned and hostile by all.

With a burning anger, Lucius retaliated.

"No need."

"Eh?" ask Luna briefly.

"I don't need a noble territory like you. You want to see my power? Too bad, I don't even have to use magic against that muscle brain." Lucius replied in a provocative tone.

"What did you say?!" ethan shouted furiously.

Luna immediately prevented Ethan from attacking Lucius at once while asking.

"Hoo, so you turned down the gold offer? Alright. Next sunday. I look forward to proof of your confidence, Lucius."

With that reply, Luna immediately walked away along with Ethan leaving Lucius alone.

The crowd of students also started to leave one after another. Everyone looked at Lucius with a strange look, probably because Lucius' words were too big.

"Oi, is he crazy? Ethan is one of the strongest earth element magicians right? He said he would fight it without magic...."

"He has lost his mind. Let it go."

"Hahaha, just some nonsense from an obscure family."

Hearing the scorn of those around him, Lucius recalled what he really wanted in this life.

It is an absolute power, so that he himself can live peacefully and calmly because he is able to protect all he loves.

"One Week.... You're gonna regret giving me a week, Luna."
