The Demon Queen's Disciple

The Demon Queen's Disciple
Chapter 78 - The Resurrection

"So, what did you tell him?" ask Lucius who was still confused.

Both of his right hands pointed forward, setting up a magic formation to create a portal. Deliver him right to his room in the city of Arcanum.

One thing that Lucius expected, was that his room had not been evicted by the innkeeper. Naturally Lucius was worried because he had disappeared for 4 months without paying.

In his mind, Carmilla replied.

'In short, I offer the safety of all but one to be sacrificed. I also explained about your body condition, Lucius.'

"My body condition?" asked Lucius curiously.

The long blonde-haired Elf girl stood beside Lucius while pointing her finger at the portal.

"Amin nae' tara ruun? Amen valar tyenna i'savuvalya?" ask the Elf Girl.

"W-what did he say?" asked Lucius in a panic.

'He asked if this was space magic, and if it was safe to pass through.' Carmilla replied briefly.

Without knowing a word of the Elf language, the only way for Lucius to answer was to nod his head.

Seeing that, the Elf was seen smiling faintly as she quickened her footsteps through the portal.

Look at his footsteps....

Lucius was quite sad. Knowing that the life of the Elf girl is certain to be lost soon for the resurrection of Carmilla.

She kept looking at her beautiful long blonde hair. Occasionally, because of the wind, making a magic necklace attached to his neck can be seen from behind.

A necklace that locked the use of magic completely.

'If you think I'm going to kill him, take it easy. What I was going to do to him was the same as what I did to you, Lucius.' Carmilla suddenly explained.

That explanation made Lucius subconsciously stop his footsteps for a moment.

"You mean?" lucius asked before continuing his footsteps.

'According to my words. But it's not like you where you're still in complete control. What I'm going to do with the Lirael is take over almost part of his body. Instead, I will restore that control for one day to her every month. And he agreed.' Carmilla explained at length.

Unlike the relationship between Lucius and Carmilla who seem equal, where Lucius or Carmilla can take turns using this body....

The Elf girl was only given the right to control her body once every month.

Other than that one day....

He can only see everything from the inside. But at least, it was much better than death. That's what Lucius had in mind.

"One day huh?" lucius asked as he looked at the figure of the Elf Girl who had disappeared behind his artificial portal.

But when Lucius was just about to continue his footsteps, he just realized something.

"Wait a minute, Lirael? Is that the Elf girl's name?"

'of course. Especially?'

............

After Lucius stepped through the portal, he was quite surprised to see what was in front of his eyes.

Not only were all her belongings still inside her room. But also this room looks still so clean, as if it is always cleaned every day.

The figure of Lirael is seen walking around and around looking at everything in Lucius' room.

Not long ago....

'Stamp!'

Lucius felt a light pat on his shoulder.

Lirael is seen carrying a piece of paper while pointing at Lucius' desk.

"Aah, for me? From whom? Thank you." replied Lucius who immediately began to read the contents of the letter.

The Elf girl seemed to give a friendly smile before sitting on Lucius' bed. Resting his tired body over the previous incident.

...[.For example, the elder brother Lucius Nightshade]...

"Eh?!" lucius shouted in surprise instead of playing after reading the very top of the letter.

In this world, there was only one person who called him by such a designation. She is Michelle Nightshade, her sister.

'Glek!'

After gulping his saliva, Lucius continued reading the letter.

...[.I heard that you have grown much stronger in this Damacia Academy. Even so, why disappear from the Academy? Mom and Dad were very worried. We're waiting for you in the Central Plaza of the city. Please come home quickly.]...

This short letter turned out to only contain a request from his sister to go home immediately. Lucius' heart felt so sliced as he read it and....

"Huh? Wait-wait first? The Central Plaza? What are they doing there?" asked Lucius in a panic.

'Still long? I want to get out of your useless body, ' asked Carmilla, who had run out of consciousness.

"Yes yes.... Please do as you please."

............

About 30 minutes passed.

During that time, Carmilla continued to use Lucius' body to draw such a complex magic circle formation in this room using Lucius' Mana.

Drawing it alone had already consumed half of Mana Lucius. Which is equivalent to an A level mage and above.

Just natural.

Because the place Carmilla used to draw was not limited to the floor. But also on the walls and also the roof of this small room.

"Laer nae', valar Lirael?" ask Carmilla.

He asked if Lirael was ready to give Carmilla most of her control.

With a gentle nod and a smile so sweet, Lirael agreed.

After which, Carmilla immediately extended both of her hands. Started the recap of that soul transmigration magic in this restroom with makeshift materials.

A magic that should have been long gone, was even considered impossible to do by various master teachers in the field of magic.

If humans could master this magic, it was unmistakable that the person could achieve a pseudo-immortality.

'Swuuuusshh!!!'

Cold wind pressure began to be felt all over Lucius' body. It even pierced into his soul.

Simultaneously, the entire intricate magic formation in this room began to glow. Most had a beautiful bluish glow, while others had a terrible reddish glow.

Unlike Alora, Carmilla's magic speech sounds so subtle, it doesn't use any language that Lucius can understand at all.

The language used by Carmilla was much different from the Elven language that Lucius had previously heard.

After a while....

Carmilla used a different magic to break the seal on the magic necklace. Releasing the Mana restraints inside the Lirael's body.

'Klaaangg!!!'

With just a snap of a finger, Carmilla could break and remove the magic necklace.

And then after that....

"Lirael." said Carmilla briefly while pointing both hands forward. Lirael understood it and placed both his hands on Lucius' hands.

Not only did she get there, Carmilla began to bring her face closer. Then put his forehead on Lirael's forehead.

"Sssaruk nethrok, kraethan kra'halavthar, Lirael" Carmilla said.

Lucius did not understand the meaning of the sentence that Carmilla had just spoken. A sentence which meant that Carmilla would move her soul on Lirael's body.

Even so, Lucius could see it directly.

Lirael's body began to undergo a very clear change after Carmilla's soul began to enter his body.

Her blond hair, which was so beautiful and long, had now started to lose its color and was slowly turning bright white.

Meanwhile, the skin of the Lirael which was previously quite white but still has a little yellow color. But after Carmilla's soul entered it, the color of her skin turned pale white.

And the final change was clearly seen by Lucius, as Lirael opened his eyes.

The lirael's bright blue eyes slowly turned reddish like the color of blood.

With a wide smile, Lirael began to open his mouth.

"Thank you, Lucius. With this body, there is no mistake. I was able to get a little closer to the peak of my strength in the past." said Lirael.

Lucius began to step back in fear. For the first time, he felt the horror of Carmilla itself.

Carmilla's attitude looks so strange. As if....

"W-what are you gonna do with that body?" asked Lucius in a panic.

A question that was too late months ago. A question that should have been asked by him the first time he made a contract with her.

A question, which might decide the fate of this world.

The light from the magic formation in this room started to fade and disappear completely. Restore the room as before.

With her red eyes so sinister, Carmilla retorted.

"For what? Of course, finish my business with this world."

'Deg! The deg!!'

'Have I let go of something that should not be released in this world?'

Lucius' fear began to be clearly seen. Moreover, the Mana from Lirael's body was more or less equivalent to Lucius' current Mana.

"What business?" asked Lucius in a panic.

'Can I fight him? Would I be able to stop him if he really intended to destroy this world?' lucius asked in his heart.

Unexpectedly, Carmilla walked over towards Lucius. Embrace his body and whisper something in his ear.

"Of course, destroy this world." Carmilla whispered in a voice so melodious, yet so terrible a meaning.

'Sruuugg!!!'

Lucius quickly jumped back and drew his sword. If this is how it is, how else?

'I have to stop him! Why am I so stupid?! Is it because I have been treated well by him? That's why I consider him a good person? From the beginning I knew he was a demon! Is this her magic? The magic that made me continue to do what he wanted unconsciously? Right, I only realized after he was released right?!'

Lucius' mind was filled with question marks. Meanwhile the figure of Carmilla with the body of Lirael was standing casually before him.

Even so, the gaze from Carmilla was really sharp and full of intimidation.

"I'm sorry...."

"Smoke!" carmilla said cutting Lucius' words while laughing with satisfaction.

"Eh?!"

Instantly, Lucius' entire fear turned into confusion. Which statement is correct? Did he really want to destroy this world? Or didn't?

'Srruuugg!!!'

Suddenly, Carmilla jumped towards Lucius. Threw him on his own bed with Carmilla on it.

"You know what, Lucius? If it was my old self, I might very well want to destroy this world right now. But apparently, you have shown me something far more interesting than that" Carmilla said with her face so close to Lucius's.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Byeah, Lucius. Even if you're quite a genius at magic, you're a fool at this, aren't you? Should I say it directly?" asked Carmilla who slowly pressed her lips against Lucius's.

"Mmmff?!!" lucius replied as he continued to wriggle trying to escape from Carmilla's piercing.

But whatever he did, he seemed helpless against it.

Is it because Carmilla has a more favored position that is above? Or because Lucius was stunned by the beauty of his own teacher?

After a while, Carmilla finally released Lucius.

"Thank you, Lucius. Thanks to you, I can once again breathe the fresh air in this world once again. Well, even though it's been a long time, but using one's own body, especially an Elven body, is much happier for me."

Carmilla slowly got up from the bed and noticed her appearance on the mirror in the corner of the room.

"Wait a minute, I don't understand what you want at all." Lucius asked once more. He was seen clearing his lips from the attack just now.

"Shortly, Lucius. I began to love this world. Or rather, love the environment around me. So I'm gonna protect her. As long as I do that, I will continue to be your teacher. You don't mind, do you?"

At that moment, once again Lucius seemed to be hypnotized by the elegance and beauty displayed by Carmilla.

Lucius seemed to be unable to escape the appeal of the demon named Carmilla. Not because he likes or even loves her.

It was not that kind of feeling that was in Lucius.

Like a man who misses the moon. Lucius realized that Carmilla was too perfect for him. Just imagining it was impossible for Lucius.

All Lucius had in his heart was a feeling of awe and respect for Carmilla's extraordinary achievements and dedication to magic.

His knowledge is broad but flexible in a variety of situations. Various original magic made by himself that can even reverse the balance of this world.

Until various discoveries with magic as the foundation.

All of Carmilla's achievements continuously motivated Lucius to study magic.

Without realizing....

That it was his admiration for Carmilla that would overturn the balance of this world in the future.
