The entire Holy Knight was seen returning safely. Although most received quite severe injuries, there was not a single casualty from this fight.
With the rest of the Mana she had, Alora immediately used her light element to heal the wounds of those holy knights.
"Mass Healing." he said briefly while creating a beautiful golden magic formation. Healed all the wounds that the knights suffered in the blink of an eye.
In Lucius' heart, he thought that the light element was very useful in all sorts of situations.
For attack, defense, even healing. All are superior beyond all other elements.
When Lucius was still lost in his own thoughts....
"Lucius, I intend to return to the Church and report this. How're you? Wanna come?" alora asked back with her friendly face and expression.
In Lucius's sight, he could see it. That Alora had at least spent 95% of her Mana, including the Mana of the Light Goddess Lunaria was in the attack just now.
'That kind of magic.... It is true that it should only be in the hands of the chosen heroes.' Lucius thought in his heart as he continued to look at Alora's face.
"Lucius?" alora asked confusedly as the boy just kept quiet from earlier.
"Aah, no. I'll go home by myself. Thanks for the help and offer. I would never have survived without your help, Miss Alora." Lucius replied, bowing his body.
"No. The plan just now could only work because you were next to me, Lucius. Then I'll see you next time."
With that last sentence, Alora used the same giant teleportation magic as she had used before to bring those holy knights.
Among the Holy Knights, Lucius's gaze was fixated on that Inquisitor named Roland.
'Does everyone in the Church have that much power?' lucius asked after seeing how big Mana belonged to the reddish-haired man.
After everything is gone....
Lucius immediately continued his previous plan. That is to ascertain whether the demon power that is on the Zephyrith's body is really the demonic power of Carmilla.
He created a simple portal, setting his foot right at the center of the rest of Divine Judgement.
A giant hole with a circular shape. Its own width reaches 50 meters more, with a depth of 250 meters. Much deeper than the Cadera Valley itself.
Creating a strange sight in this valley.
'Srruugg! Oruugg!!'
Lucius set his foot on the flat, hard black rock.
There was not much left of the Zephyrith. Only the ashes of the rest of his skin and hard bones were seen flying here and there.
Looking at it with magic eyes, Lucius was able to confirm. That the Zephyrith had actually been completely annihilated by magic just now.
"Well, of course. Anyone who could survive that magic was no longer an ordinary being in this world. So how about it, Carmilla. Is that your strength?" lucius asked after seeing the pitch-black Mana still remaining at the bottom of this valley.
Carmilla could only be silent.
Even so, Lucius could feel Carmilla's emotions filled with anger as well as hatred.
Lucius. That Carmilla's current attitude holds that demonic-power is truly her own.
And there was only one thing that flashed inside Lucius' head back then. The heart of Carmilla, which she is said to have kept somewhere.
'Lucius, are you free?' ask Carmilla briefly.
"Whatchu mean? I skipped school for 4 months. Of course it's fine for me to skip a few more days." Lucius replied with a serious face.
Shortly after, he scratched his head while saying.
"Want to make sure your heart is there, right? Doesn't matter. Quickly tell me where you keep it, I'll take you there."
'Thank you, Lucius.'
............
The Light Church, Lunaria
The line of Holy Knights who had just been led by Alora to kill the demon was seen walking neatly, before finally kneeling before an Archbishop in this Church.
'Srruugg!!!'
Everyone knelt before him, with their eyes fixed on the floor.
All included the Archbishop himself, who immediately descended from the pulpit of the church.
"Miss Alora, welcome back. All the pastors in the Light Church are worried about you" the Archbishop said on his knees facing Alora.
Alora herself is seen walking up the pulpit of the church. Intend to discuss everything that just happened tonight.
"Archbishop Phillip, explain to me what you see." orders Alora.
"The Holy Lady, Mary, saw such an incredible darkness in this kingdom. He said something about the resurrection of Satan that brought disaster." he explained.
"Devil?"
The concept and term demon itself is very rarely used by humans in this era. After the ancient dragon Ashenflare ravaged this continent, the existence of the Devil nation seemed to have been forgotten from this world.
"Explain, what did he see?"
"Someone, dark black hair like night, half of it is human while the rest is not. Young, but with his natural talent in the field of magic, will bring destruction in the kingdom, or even this world as an eternal demon." explained the Archbishop named Phillip clearly.
Alora recorded all the information carefully in the little book she had in her pocket.
Based on that explanation....
There was one person who crossed his mind.
'Lucius Nightshade? N-no way, right? After all, he's completely human, right? But....'
Alora was reminded of Lucius' extraordinary magic talent. At a very young age, perhaps half of Alora's own age, was already capable of mastering space magic quite well.
Even better compared to the Royal Witch though. Given how difficult space magic was itself.
Not only that, at the age of 16 years, Lucius has managed to create an Arcana. His own original magic.
Not just any Arcana. But a very complicated Arcana, which can even be said to be very powerful to fight other witches.
Sealing magic itself, was just like fighting against a swordsman but forcing him without using any weapons.
That is the Arcana by Lucius. At least, that was what Alora saw.
And do not rule out the possibility, Lucius could have made a more powerful version of the Arcana in the future.
"Miss Alora? Any issues?" the Archbishop asked in confusion.
"Ti-nothing. Just thinking about what happened just now. Then, for that matter, what was the response of the other Church? Especially Which Church." asked Alora.
"The Mana Church vows to support our struggle fully in order to eradicate the so-called 'demons' themselves. To them, the Black Mana was the Sinner Mana. Mana from Darkness, Heretics." Phillip explained.
"Good, then...."
At night that day, Alora continued to solve various problems regarding the appearance of the demonic figure from the Zephyrith's body.
As he continued to think, whether Lucius really was not the figure that the Holy Girl, Mary, meant.
The figure he foretold would be the bearer of destruction in the kingdom, even this world.
