The Demon Queen's Disciple

The Demon Queen's Disciple
Chapter 93 - Peace

As soon as Alora left, all the Holy Knights who were trailing Lucius also left.

Regardless of what was happening in the North, Lucius could not care about it for now. What can he do right now there?

The only thing Lucius could do right now, was to utilize this long-awaited peace to practice.

Upon his arrival at home, Lucius was greeted by his family. Including Carmilla.

"How's your match, son?" asked Lucius' father who was sitting casually in the dining room on the 5th floor of this house.

"I won easily, Father." Lucius replied briefly. He immediately sat in one of the chairs.

"As expected of my son." said Lucius' father proudly.

"Sister is really great." praised Michelle with a sweet smile on her face.

"Mother is sure Michelle will be able to do it one day" said Lucius' mother.

Next to Lucius, the graceful figure of Carmilla was seen sipping the warm tea that had been made by the Maids in this house.

'Sluurr....'

"Well.... So, can you get back to training?" carmilla whispered after sipping the warm tea.

"That's it." Lucius replied briefly.

"Well, even though I no longer have much to teach you. What if I practice hanging out there?" carmilla asked back in a soft voice.

"Where? Aaah, yes. I get it."

In this warm atmosphere, all of them enjoyed quite a sumptuous meal peacefully. Jokes and laughter could be heard from this dining room, at a time when the Lucius family had been completely gathered.

............

A month had passed since Lucius' meeting with Mary.

And now, precisely in the Prism of Eternity, Lucius was training quite hard.

'Klaaangg! Ttrkvp! Ohhhhai!!'

"It's so weak, Lucius. Are you sure it's a human body? Why could it lose physical strength with this weak Elf body?" ask Carmilla who kept pressing Lucius in this sword fight.

"Then, then...."

Lucius immediately drained a portion of his Mana all over his body. An Overflow technique to significantly improve physical abilities.

'Klaaaaanggg!!!'

The sword clash between the two was capable of making an extremely powerful shockwave. It breathes a lot of sand in the moonlight.

"Good! Keep it that way!"

Although Carmilla is a witch, she has the ability to fight without magic.

Being able to match Lucius without even trying hard.

In this desperate moment, Lucius used his Formless Sword technique. He prepared his horses to attack. And quickly, three lightning slashes immediately aimed right at Carmilla's body.

'Klangg! Ttrkvp!! Tttraan!'

"Come on, I taught you of course I can fend it off, right?" carmilla said with a smile that looked so disdainful to Lucius.

"Sad.... Then...."

Lucius immediately pulled his sword back, preparing to give the silver-haired Elf a flash before him.

"Woooh, this time a prick?" carmilla asked with a light laugh.

'Zraaaaat!!!'

Easily, Carmilla tilted her body to avoid the prick.

"You know, the prick was really strong. But the technique has a very fatal flaw" Carmilla said after being able to avoid it so easily.

"What?" ask Lucius. He immediately pulled back his sword and jumped back to keep his distance.

"The attack was just a straight line. As long as you know the direction of the prick, you can definitely avoid it."

The Formless Sword Technique.

As the name suggests, it is a sword technique that has no clear form or characteristics.

The main core of the technique is the flexibility of attacks that are difficult to read. But because Lucius was too focused on the 2 techniques he learned, he lost the benefits of the Formless Sword Technique himself.

"Lucius, I admit you're smart enough to learn that technique in no time. But I'll show you why it took Mordrek hundreds of years to perfect this technique, and drag myself every day to train with him."

After those words, Carmilla's aura completely looked different.

He clearly used the Overflow technique to strengthen his Elf body.

From his aura, Lucius knew that the technique Carmilla would use right now was the culmination of the Formless Sword technique he had yet to learn.

"Formless Sword Technique, Raging Dragon."

With a powerful footstroke, Carmilla darted right towards Lucius. Swinging his sword swiftly from the left, it struck the right part of Lucius' body.

'Crazy ones! So fast!'

Not having time to be surprised, Lucius immediately responded and used the sword as well as some of his magic to protect the right part of his body.

But....

'Sraaatt! Swuuushhh!'

Carmilla suddenly stopped her steps before turning her body to the left. Giving out a sword slash in a twist, now towards the left of Lucius' body.

And all of that happened in a split second.

'Blaaaaarrrr! Zraaasshhhh!!!'

'Bruuukk!!!'

Lucius' body was thrown tens of meters to the side. Blood seemed to be splattered along the path it was going through.

"Ooh, losing in just one move?" carmilla asked with a big smile on her face.

His right hand was resting the sword on his shoulder. While his left hand carried something that kept dripping blood.

Lucius' left hand was cut off.

"Kuuughh, what the fuck just now?" asked Lucius who kept trying to restrain the blood flow in his severed left hand.

'Bruck!'

Carmilla threw the piece of Lucius' left hand while replying.

"Real forms of the Formless Sword Technique. What I've been teaching you all along are just the basics to the actual technique."

'Swuuuussh!!!'

With Carmilla's high-level healing magic, Lucius was able to easily reconnect his arms.

An achievement that should be very difficult without the highest level of healing magic in the human kingdom.

"Basically? Then that first move?" asked Lucius curiously.

"Raging Dragon, a major technique of Formless Sword. It consists of 12 movements that are so flexible that they are impossible to avoid. Although not as perfect as what Mordrek did, but later I will teach this to you." Carmilla explained.

Lucius was surprised that the technique that cut off his arm just now even though he had tried to hold on, was only one of twelve moves.

Making him even more curious about the race that was referred to as the demon. Especially Mordrek.

"Mordrekc.... She strong?" asked Lucius who had recovered completely, despite having to burn a fifth of his Mana to hang for healing magic.

"of course. Although not as powerful as this Great me, but he is quite strong.12 movements of the technique just now can behead the sword hero of the time."

'Deg! The deg!!'

Lucius's fear of Carmilla again arose. What does this demon really want? Was this the right choice for Lucius to let Carmilla do as he pleased?

But didn't Mary also say Carmilla didn't have bad intentions in this world?

"Ca-Carmilla...."

"Yes?"

"What are you going to do in the future?" asked Lucius curiously.

Carmilla was busy thinking. He propped up his chin using the index finger of his right hand as usual.

After a while....

"Right now maybe I just want to recover as much of my strength as possible. After that, I'll find out which fool stole my heart." explains Carmilla with a face so serious.

"Be-so? There's no intention of destroying this world, is there?" ask Lucius again.

'Ohler!!!'

Suddenly Carmilla hit Lucius' shoulder hard enough. Makes him quite surprised.

"What are you doing?" asked Lucius in a panic.

"Haha! Destroying this world? Wh-wh-what for? This world is already much more beautiful than it used to be, so why would I bring this world back to a bad time? Anyways...."

"After all?"

Carmilla was seen stopping talking for a moment. The laughter from him also stopped, replaced by a smile that seemed so satisfied.

He looked at Lucius for a moment, before looking right into Lucius' eyes.

"W-what?" lucius asked curiously and in fear.

"none. Slowed progress. I'll increase the portion of your training." replied Carmilla who immediately walked away. Returning to training his Mana using the Mana Flow formation in the middle of this desert.

"Eh? The feeling I've been training hard enough?" lucius shouted after his Master.
