Chapter 45 - The Reinforcement

'Zraaaaat!!!'

'Swuuuooooooooo!!!'

'Blaaaaarrr!!!'

'Sraaaaaashhh!!'

The combination of the attack between Selena and Lucius was completely different from what was seen all along.

Both were created to fight together.

As Selena gives a powerful slash to open the wound on Ursaloth's body, Lucius will follow her with a strike that hits right at the scar Selena made earlier.

Surely, a sword attack that was enveloped by that hot blaze.

"Grooooaayarrr!!!"

The cries of pain from Ursaloth could be heard clearly. Although the wounds regenerated slowly, the wounds inflicted by Selena's combination with Lucius were far more numerous.

Little by little, Ursaloth continued to receive wounds.

Abdomen, legs, arms, back....

All of them had slash marks and also burns due to a combination of the two.

The other adventurers seemed amazed to see the figure of the two people. While the adventurers in the same squad as Lucius, they appeared to bite a finger after underestimating it.

Sera led a small squad with members of those archers.

Compared to the other archers, Sera's arrow shot was much faster and much stronger. But in the face of Ursaloth's thick skin and muscles, the arrow seemed useless because it could not penetrate deep enough.

Despite not inflicting serious injuries, the other adventurers wanted to provide as much help as they could.

The combination of the adventurer's series of attacks continued for several minutes. Gave a serious wound to the Ursaloths.

"Oi, this is a fucking bear! Fight me!" ironclad shouted after swinging his sword towards that Ursaloth. Which certainly did not give him serious injuries.

Justright. Ursaloth's attention was now diverted. It gives Selena and Lucius a good chance to attack.

"Thank you, Ironclad!" lucius shouted as he drew his fiery sword forward.

'Jleeobb!'

Lucius' sword stuck easily on Ursaloth's body. It stabbed right at the black bear's back.

But not stopping there, Lucius immediately turned his sword while multiplying his Mana flow on the sword. Making the flames created become much larger.

'Swuuuooooooossshhh!!!'

"Groooaaaaaarrrr!!!"

"Great work! Lucius!" selena shouted with a wide smile. He also began to multiply the flow of Mana on his greatsword.

At once, using Elemental Infusion on his sword. It enveloped the sword with an extremely sharp wind magic.

'Zraaaaassshhh!!!'

"GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

Ursaloth's shout this time sounded very loud, even echoing all over this forest.

With that one slash, Selena managed to cut off Ursaloth's right arm completely.

He attacked right on the part with the most injuries. Facilitating his slash to cut through those strong muscles and bones.

Seeing that the abnormal arm of Ursaloth was finally cut off, festive cheers could be heard from all the adventurers who took part in this fight.

Kill this monstrous monster and put an end to its terror before it begins.

All sorts of attacks were directed precisely at Ursaloth who had lost much of that power.

His blood began to run out from all the injuries he had sustained. His internal organs were roasted by Lucius' fire magic. And his right hand that had previously been his strongest weapon? It has become a burden to him.

The blood that kept flowing from his right arm that had been cut off made his body even more limp.

In the end, Ursaloth could only sit quietly on the ground, awaiting his death.

And victory will be achieved by the adventurer group.

...'YAAAAAAAAAAARRR!!!'...

Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind emerged from the direction Ursaloth was sitting limp. Throwing out all the adventurers who were about to take his life.

From behind the dust and rocks that kept being thrown in all those directions, one of the adventurers was trying to see what was really going on.

But as the dust blocking the vision began to dissipate, the adventurer could only widen his eyes at what he saw.

"A-what's.... W-how can I." he said with fear. Sweat began to pour all over his body.

In front of him, a Hobgoblin with similar characteristics to what the Donner brothers said.

Hobgoblins with a tall body like an adult man. His body looked slender with few muscles in his body.

Meanwhile, his skin was dark green and closer to black. While on his head there is a horn that appears on his left forehead.

But what caught the attention of the adventurer was none other than what Hobgoblin was holding in his left hand.

A severed human head, which has a face like a person he knows.

"Ro-Rover?! W-how can this be...."

Before he could finish his words, the Hobgoblins threw the head of the Rover right at the adventurer.

With such incredible throwing speed, it made the adventurer's head shatter instantly. Killed him without much effort.

While Lucius and Selena who stood next to each other began to realize the true terror.

A terror in which Hobgoblin was easily torn apart the body of Ursaloth which they had previously struggled to fight. Before finally trampling it until it becomes porridge.

'DEG! DEG!'S!'

It was then that both of them woke up.

That the words of the Donner brothers before were not at all babbling.

What they encountered was Hobgoblins. And seeing Hobgoblins' power firsthand, Lucius and Selena even begin to question how the Donners survived.

Fear and terror began to freeze the bodies of all the adventurers in this forest.

While Lucius himself can feel the fear of Carmilla, which makes his breath and heartbeat become unreasonable.

"I gave you the power to hunt humans, but what is this? Lose to them?" hobgoblin said as he continued to trample the rest of Ursaloth's body.

That word from Hobgoblin made all the adventurers fall on their knees. Not only does it have powers beyond reason, but Hobgoblins also possess high intelligence?

Quickly, Carmilla immediately took action.

'Lucius! Surrender body! This is not an opponent worth you!'

Lucius' eyes changed slightly after being controlled by Carmilla. Quickly, Carmilla began to control her fear and turned it into an unstoppable rage.

"Lucius, I don't think we can escape from this. You ready?" ask Selena.
