The Demon Queen's Disciple

The Demon Queen's Disciple
Chapter 79 - Reunion

In the morning....

Just before sunrise....

"Oi, are you serious?" asked Lucius in a panic. He tried his hardest not to look back while wearing his clothes.

"of course. Besides, I'm your teacher, right?" ask Carmilla who's still buttoning her clothes.

"But..."

"Just calm. I'll ask Anderson's old man for permission to follow his class."

"That's not the problem!"

After successfully acquiring a new body, Carmilla insisted on always participating wherever Lucius was. All of that with reason to keep an eye on his training.

Especially since Lucius had to do Awakening soon. That is sacrificing all the power he currently has, to obtain a new body that is much stronger.

When that happened, it would be much better if Carmilla was by his side.

But problem....

"Your ears. You think how many people discriminate against race in this city. If you wander around with ears like that...."

"Are you about this?" said Carmilla while touching her long ears.

"Just calm. Elves should be treated a little better than halfling." Carmilla continued.

Lucius was seen scratching his head because he no longer knew what to say to him.

But when Lucius opened his eyes again, he could see the figure of Carmilla who now had human ears as usual.

"Eh?"

"Magic changes my original form. With this magic, I can change the appearance easily. Like this." explains Carmilla who changed her ear back to what it was, then returned it again to human short ears.

"You-you.... Got that kind of magic?" asked Lucius annoyed.

"Of course."

"Why haven't you ever taught me that? I could have eliminated anything troublesome if I could have disguised myself." Lucius replied in a limp tone.

"Why? Of course, because you only want powerful magic or power-related? This kind of magic doesn't matter to you at all, does it?"

Carmilla who replied to Lucius while putting on a stupid face made Lucius's irritation peak.

'Swuuushh!!!'

"Wuo! What a good punch! But what a pity, with this body I am far above you!" reply Carmilla who easily avoided Lucius' barrage of punches.

"Damn it!!!"

............

Lucius' first goal this morning was to meet his family at Central Plaza.

Somehow the story goes that his family was able to live in the Central Plaza area, but at least Lucius knew his family was still fine.

"So, who's your family? I forgot." said Carmilla who was walking leisurely beside Lucius. He is seen putting both hands behind his head. Use it as a cushion while walking it.

"Well, you are." - Lucius complained before he began to explain his family.

Michelle Nightshade's. The brother of Lucius himself. He had great respect for Lucius for his intelligence since childhood. Even so, reality tells another where Michelle is blessed by talents that far surpass her sister.

Michelle's talent in water magic is so extraordinary that the Nightshade family has never experienced drought thanks to the 15-year-old girl.

The only thing that made Michelle's name less famous was that she came from a lowly Baron family. Also because he is still not old enough to enroll in the renowned Magic Academy.

"It's so sad, so all this time you've been living under the shadow of your sister's talent?" mocked Carmilla who was still walking leisurely beside Lucius.

"Shut up...."

Seraphina Nightshade's. Mother of Lucius. With a high enough posture that a charming face with long brown hair, he managed to strengthen the position of the Nightshade family as a true noble. Although it was a title purchased.

Not only that, he also opened many charities to help those who are less able. Although all of that had disappeared after the invasion of the barbarians from the North.

And lastly....

Valerian Nightshade's. Father of Lucius. Not only is a businessman who is reliable and quite genius, he is also blessed with a natural leadership spirit that is so strong. He has a charismatic appearance and impressed strong with his short black hair.

"In short, your family is now just a poor commoner with the title of Baron?" mocked Carmilla while laughing lightly.

"Be-so.... That's why I wonder how my family, who spent months in a refugee camp, can now live in Central Plaza. Aah, there." said Lucius following the direction of some merchants on this street.

In front of Lucius, there was a large and magnificent villa. The area of the building itself was equivalent to dozens of ordinary houses. While the number of floors reaches 6 floors.

There's no way her family would stay in a place like that, right?

But when Lucius was about to ring the bell next to such a magnificent gate....

"Hmm? Lucius?"

He heard a familiar voice from beside him. The voice of a man who had been inaudible to him for a long time, was also a voice that made him feel that all this would make sense.

"Alex?" lucius asked briefly.

'Bruuuk!!!'

Alex quickly left Albert beside him and ran towards Lucius. Embracing the figure he had not seen for a long time.

"Damn it! Where have you been?! L'm.... Always thought you'd be okay.... But...."

Lucius patted Alex on the back slowly. Trying to calm him down.

"Many things happened. I'll tell you later, but before that. Does my family really live here? How come?" lucius asked as he slightly pushed back Alex's body.

While wiping his tears, Alex replied.

"You forgot? I told you I'd be your right hand. When you dueled William, I risked all my family's assets. Instead, I asked for the entire Central Plaza area. Including this villa."

"Wait a minute, there's a lot of weird stuff in your words just now."

Regardless of what Lucius said, Alex continued to explain.

"Then about 2 months after you disappeared, your family came looking for you. You should know how panicked they were when they found out you disappeared. And since I have no place to stay I give this Villa to your family. No, I intend to give the entire Central Plaza to your family anyway."

"I told you to wait a minute! I need some time to process all the information just now!"

From behind, Lucius could feel someone patting him on the shoulder slowly.

"Lucius. That's your family?" carmilla asked as she pointed in the direction behind the luxurious gate.

From a distance, the figure of a man as well as a woman mature. Both of them were wearing neat clothes and seemed quite expensive.

While behind the two people, there was a girl who was still quite short with neat short brown hair. Her face looked so cute when wearing that short dress.

"Dad? Mammy? Michelle?!" shouted Lucius who immediately ran over the gate with ease.

Without hesitation, Lucius immediately hugged the three of them. After a long time finally reunited in this much better condition.

Both Lucius and his family were relieved, seeing that the others were still healthy and managed to survive the ordeal that befell them all.

"Young Master." said Albert in a soft voice.

"Well, I'd actually like to ask Mr. Valerian for help with the transfer of the name of the owner of this Central Plaza. But you're already, tomorrow." said Alex who immediately handed over some of the scrolls to Albert.

Immediately after, his gaze was diverted to a bright white-haired woman and the pale white skin that was with Lucius earlier.

"I'm sorry, but who are you?" ask Alex to try to be as polite as possible.

Carmilla turned her face away. Staring at Alex with those blood-red eyes.

"I? His teacher Lucius."

"His teacher? Are you the one who made Lucius grow that fast?" alex asked with both eyes wide open.

"Hmm, maybe? But mostly because of his own hard work so I'm not so sure. Wh why? You interested?" reply Carmilla with a friendly smile.

"Eh?" alex was surprised. He did not expect that the Master who made Lucius so strong would offer him that teaching.

"As long as you can guarantee Lucius and his family are safe and happy, I have absolutely no objection to training you, Alexander Brown. You have enough wealth to do that, don't you?" carmilla said with a sweet smile.

For Alex, of course, this is an opportunity that should not be wasted. Acquiring the training of the same teacher that made Lucius become strong that fast?

For Carmilla though.

'I've seen it every day through Lucius' eyes but.... I don't know what happened to this world, letting a talent as beautiful as this sink into the mud. If nobody wants it, I can take it, right?' thought Carmilla in her heart as she continued to pay attention to Alex's figure.
