12. Dragon System

I woke up in a panic and my body was sweating like a person out of breath. It felt like I had died and been revived...

Everything that happened felt like a nightmare. It's worse than when I became a dragon, at least I have the strength to fight back. Never have I felt like this before, so helpless without the strength to fight back.

I looked around me to see where I was, like I was taken to my room. My chest and face were wrapped in bandages, I could still feel a slight pain in my chest while the swelling on my face had reduced a lot.

My mother fell asleep next to me holding my hand. I smiled and thought how could there be such a loving and cruel human being? My mother woke up when she felt my hand move, she opened her eyes and started to shed tears.

"Ray.I can't believe you're awake!" Said my mother crying.

Suddenly the door opened and my father ran to my bedside.

"Ray, don't be like this anymore, we don't think you're gonna wake up" my dad said.

I think my father's words sound a little strange, isn't that just a day?

"How long have I been asleep?"Ray.

"You slept for a whole week, your mother called me and I came back as soon as possible."

A whole week, how is that possible? Even though I was seriously injured, it should only be a few days. No wonder my parents looked so worried.

I asked my parents what happened to Bob and Kyle, two kids who went to the woods with Gary. Their faces turned pale hearing the question.

When my mother and father came back, they went into the forest to look for them.

Gary had led the way to where they had met a mid-level wolf. When they arrived, his corpse was already gone, the only thing left was the remaining bloodstains of battle results.

My parents continued to search for them for a few days but still had not managed to find them.

The only thing they could do was guess that they were dead. When their mother found out about the news, she blamed me for everything that happened.

Gary had explained everything to the village including my parents what really happened. People still chose to believe what they wanted to believe, saying that I must have forced Gary to say that.

My father tried his hardest to stop my mother from leaving and beat the woman after listening that he always blamed me for what happened to his son.

One thing that made me happy to hear about it was Amy. He only received minor injuries from the wolves. Gary has done a good job protecting her. The doctor said he fainted due to the pressure and fear on the animal.

After my parents finished explaining everything that happened while I was asleep. They left me so I could rest.

There's something that's been bothering me since I woke up, which is the message I've always received after defeating the wolves.

The last time I wanted the notification to disappear and it suddenly disappeared, so maybe if I thought about it to appear, it would appear again.

To my surprise, it worked.

What strange system is this, never appeared before? Are all humans capable of doing something like this? the only person I can rely on for information is my mother, but I'm not sure if something like this would surprise her.

I made sure that no harm would occur when it popped up that notification window.

My vision suddenly turned into like an infrared, the walls and bed had a white picture frame that showed the building blocks of everything.

I looked at the other wall to my right that led to the kitchen. I could see my mom and dad on the other side of the wall. The color on their bodies formed a yellow glow.

It's hard to explain but I can see more clearly than before. Their yellow eyesight even showed the details of their heartbeat and blood vessels.

This doesn't surprise me because I had the same skills when I was a dragon.

this skill is useful when looking for enemies, as it allows for more specific objects and details to be seen. For example, if someone is hiding behind a tree or hiding a weapon, with this vision can know it all.

I deactivated this skill and looked at the status window in front of me again. Although it does not require energy to use this skill, it makes my eyes tense.

In the status bar, there is a small tab that says skills. When looking through it a row of question marks appeared. The only skill that shows unlocked is the dragon's eye, on top of the list, written 1/1000.

So I guessed, that number shows the skills I have as a dragon. I don't know how many skills I have.

I never really counted it. I only use the most effective to defeat my enemies.

If someone said it 1000, I would think it was a good guess. The only way to confirm this theory is to unlock more of the other skills.

For the second problem that is, what are the conditions to unlock all these skills?.rethinking what happened, the only thing I can think of is defeating a mid-level wolf.

Was the requirement to unlock it only required killing a mid-level wolf, or did it have to kill another ferocious beast? If that's the case, isn't it too easy? there were many ferocious beasts all over the continent.

Thinking about this also made me remember that a second status window had appeared.

This I've never seen before. It's a mystery to me what a crystal beast is. Without knowing what the benefits of the crystal were, I decided to leave it for now.
