29. Avrion Academy

The students could not stop talking about the color of the belts they would get. It drives me crazy, I don't know what they're talking about.

We have managed to enter an area that is mostly just a land with high grasslands. We camped in a place that looked like a nearby wheat field and lit a fire for the warmers at night.

Our group gathered around the campfire as usual. Talks between the students were again focused on the top three, and tie up what colors they might gain.

Fortunately I'm not the only one who doesn't know what this belt is, when other students ask questions.

The knight in our group replied.

The students started to get excited thinking about what ranking they would get.

Gary then asked the knight a question.

"What's the difference between a red sash and a White Sash, aren't they still knights?."

“Ah yes, they are both indeed knights but the treatment is different internally. A white knight would be given guidance, gain personal training and additional rewards. While the red knights looked to have no potential, they would be given basic training without a mentor. Even though they were free to do what they loved most of the time, they were already not considered by the academy and in the eyes of the other students."

After that, the students went to their tents to spend the night and started sleeping. I decided to go get some rest tonight instead of going hunting. My body is exhausted and needs rest.

We continued the rest of the trip for three days, as we got closer to the academy, it became harder for me to do the hunt. Very few wild beasts were in the vicinity of the academy region.

After the journey ended I only managed to get 75 points, although I did not reach 100 points as I wanted, I was happy and knew it would not be long until I managed to get 100 points.

We finally arrived at the avrion academy, all the students could not stop looking at him in astonishment. The surrounding stone walls were twice as high as the walls in Renny city and the size of the city was three times as large.

In the middle of the city there is still a building behind the wall that looks like a palace. The palace had a square banner in the middle of which was the emblem of the Avrion academy. The emblem is white with two wings and a sword in the middle.

We reached the front of the gate that had iron bars as thick as two people if put together. It takes four people to turn the wheel which makes the gate lift up slowly. If the gate was fully opened, even a dragon could enter it.

The whole town looks impressive. Even as a dragon, I doubt if I can destroy something this big. Humans have become much more advanced and organized in a hundred years.

Wilfred left the group when he said he should attend the meeting and wish the best to all the students in the upcoming assessment. Then the leader of the guard, Lancy, escorted us around the city.

The scenery was incredible, with torches being the lights along the way, they used magic crystals to provide power. None of the buildings looked damaged, looking like they were just finished.

It's hard to imagine that the village I grew up in and this city is part of the same world.

"How far until we reach Avrion academy." a student asked.

"We're here, man, the whole city is Avrion's academy. Everyone you see is a knight, there are no ordinary citizens here."

When Lancy said that, I looked around and it was true that I did not find a child here.

It's crazy if what he said is true, there are at least about 30,000 people stationed in the avrion academy and all of them are knights.

We continued walking around the city, as Lancy would show her an armory and a library. I made a note of the layout, I'll come back here when I have some free time.

Lancy had now taken us to a very quiet and quiet part of town, where not many people were here. The atmosphere turned into a more gripping atmosphere.

"Dragon knights? what does that mean?" i interrupted.

"When studying here you will know the history of Alure kingdom and Avrion academy. No need to rush to study diligently."

As the students followed Lancy, I stayed behind for a while to stare at the statues to see if there was anything I could see.

They seemed to have been wearing armor and weapons made using the dragon's body parts.The dragon's tail as a sword and its teeth adorned the shield.

Although it might just be the result of art made by the sculpture craftsmen, but there was no way for me to ascertain whether or not they actually used the part of the actual dragon. Still, the sight began to make my blood boil knowing that my race was used for things like this.

I couldn't help but stare at the statues, and I immediately felt a strange feeling coming from one of the tombs beneath them.

I activated the dragon eye skill. I was surprised, I rubbed my eyes to see if I was experiencing an illusion or not. Inside one of the tombs, I saw a red and yellow aura emanating, something was alive down there.
