Wilfred had known the whole situation and said that Ray could take a break from training for a few days. Even though Ray's roommates don't know the situation, it seems they know Ray is in a bad mood.
Ray had tried his best to act as he normally would. Now they often greet Ray every time they cross paths with him and ask about the situation. Ray has even been given a special bed given by his roommate.
The next morning Slyvia asked me to come down with them to the dining room for breakfast. Usually, Ray always skips breakfast and fasts until lunch time, but Sylvia and the others force Ray to go along with him.
While heading to the dining room, some students were staring at me, it had only been a few days since the incident between Gary and the monk. Even though our group had returned to normal activities and did not take issue with the incident, it seems like the other students still hold a grudge against me.
Ray sat between Slyvia and Gary while eating our food. Then they try to make small talk with me now, I do my best to answer that question even if it's hard for me. Not that I didn't enjoy the conversation, but because I didn't know what to say to them.
A student passed behind us with a tray of food in hand. The student slipped and fell right behind me spilling the contents of his tray all over my head. My head is covered with food and soup sauce they serve for breakfast.
"Oh sorry, it was an accident." The boy said to me with a smirk appearing on his face.
Sylvia stood up and started yelling at the student.
"It's definitely not an accident, what's wrong with you ..."
Before Slyvia could finish her sentence, Ray turned around and grabbed the student's head. Ray then slams the student's head into Ray's food tray on the table. Its strength was so strong that the wooden planks became cracked. But Ray is not done with it, Ray then puts his foot on his back grabbing his arm and pulling it up until the sound of a broken bone can be heard.
The room was filled with screams of pain from the boy before he fainted. Everyone in the room was now focusing their attention on Ray, but not a single person said a word.
Something inside me gasped when I saw the boy smile. This dirty man needs to be taught a lesson, my father was right, I shouldn't let myself be bullied anymore and this is my way of making it happen. I've given them enough opportunities since yesterday.
Ray walked away from the dining room, while no one said a word. When Ray is in his room, Ray is called by Lancy to go see Wilfred. Ray was told to meet him at the meeting room we met a few days ago.
When Rat entered the room there was only Ray and Wilfred there.
"Sit down Ray, I heard what happened today in the dining room."
Ray knew the reason he was called here was about the incident in the dining room.
"I won't apologize for what I've done."
"I didn't expect that, luckily your roommate guaranteed you and told me what had happened, but there were also many witnesses who were on that student's side. I have to convince the other master knights to be on my side. Lucky for you, you're important to Avrion's academy."
"Right but I know how you were treated in school, the other knights might turn a blind eye to the mistreatment of the red-haired students but I don't. We also have disagreements in the top rankings."
Ray knew what Wilfried meant, Ray had received ill-treatment from one of the knight masters.
"I'm not saying these people don't deserve Ray's punishment, maybe next time you have to do it in an official way, if students are injured during a ranking match then there is no need for us master knights to get involved," Wilfred said as he winked at me.
Ray smiled at Wilfred and we left the room. Ray takes Wilfried's words seriously, after all, Ray doesn't want to end up getting kicked out of Avrion's academy. There's still a lot to learn and do.
As Ray was walking back to his dorm from the meeting room, in one of the hallways a blond curly-haired boy approached Ray.
"You stop there, my name is Eric Sunshield of the Sunshields, how dare you dirty ordinary person touch one of my men. Especially a redhead like you."
Although Ray was eager to give this student a lesson, Ray had just come out of the meeting room with Wilfred. Ray didn't want to make a fuss this fast. Ray decides to ignore Eric and goes on.
Eric's face flushed with anger.
"How dare you ignore me, did your parents not teach you manners. Your parents must really be pigs raising people like you."
People are allowed to insult me but not if insulting my parents, this person should be taught a lesson. Ray raised his right hand which held the student ranking communicator and sent out a request for the ranking match.
"Ha, your rank is 280 and you think you can defeat me, well I accept your challenge. It's time I taught you what a real top ranker looks like."
As soon as the match started, Ray stood still letting Eric advance attacking first. Eric continues to attack Ray relentlessly, Ray will only step aside to avoid him. Ray's gonna make Eric feel useless. Eric is relentless in his attacks, with each movement growing wild. Eventually, Eric had to stop to catch his breath.
"I think it's my turn now."
The next second, I was in front of Eric before he could even raise his sword. I dropped my fist right over his head, Eric fainted after receiving my punch.
The next day everyone talked about how their rankings dropped one by one. I looked at the school communicator who was on my wrist and it was written ninth.
