The Reincarnation of the Red Dragon

The Reincarnation of the Red Dragon
30. Roommate

We've been driving around town with Lancy for a few hours and now my legs are starting to feel tired.

"Is this everything?" One of the students said sadly.

"Of course not, I doubt that you can see the entire Avrion Academy." A smile was seen on her face, it seemed like Lancy was enjoying teaching us.

"So where are we going now?"

"To the Dorm."

After hearing that everyone's mood started to improve, we were finally able to see the school that became where we became a knight.

We continue to follow Lancy at an accelerated pace.

Finally, we have achieved the goal that we have long been waiting for. Everyone was shocked to see the scene before them. The place for us to study and practice was a palace that could be seen from outside the walls surrounding the city.

The building looks bigger up close.

Lancy went to the entrance of the building and turned to face us. His expression changed from playful to serious.

"We'll all meet in the dining room at exactly 14:00. After everyone has finished eating, we will head to the training ground, which is at the north exit behind the building. Be prepared to make an assessment."

"Where is everyone?" A student asked.

Compared to the other places, this school seemed very quiet. The only people who were here were the two guards standing in front of the gate wearing white belts.

To be honest, I was expecting a little welcoming ceremony.

"There's a meeting going on today between the elders, most of the knights are on a mission. Other new students are practicing for the upcoming assessment."

"Other disciples?" everyone started to look at each other with confused expressions on their faces.

“You don't think you're the only new student, do you? Avrion has many cities as a place for new students, Renny city is just one of them. If we only recruited fifty knights a year, we would have already been defeated long ago. "

Lancy could see all the students muttering to themselves. He decided to go towards the entrance and the two guards started to open it.

The guards needed all their strength just to open each side of that gigantic door.

"Do you want to be a white sash keeper like these people, a very easy job where you are far from all danger" Lancy said as she walked past the two.

Inside the building it was as spectacular as outside. On its walls are many famous paintings of famous knights. They also had many weapons to show off, some weapons were too big to be actually used in battle.

We walked around the lower floor until we stopped just outside the three-meter-high red door. Outside stood two guards who were all wearing the armor of a hitaam, those knights looked extremely terrifying.

"Red is a sign of danger, there is nothing good about that color in this country. So, stay away from this red door behind me." Lancy glanced at me as she spoke.

I really want to fight him right now, but I don't want to make a fuss. Even though my strength has increased tremendously and I believe I can defeat someone like Lancy who is only the guard leader.

"What's in there?" A student asked.

"Avrion's prison, we keep the most dangerous criminals there, so you don't try to peek there.

Slyvia was surprised by this and asked a question.

"Isn't it ridiculous, keeping such dangerous criminals on school campuses."

Lancy mocked his words as if she was asking a stupid question.

"The Avrion Academy is the most guarded place in the country, with the strongest Knights. What better place than here to keep an eye on them. If you don't believe me, try to get in there one day and see if you can get out of there."

Slyvia bit her tongue to hold back her emotions from saying anything.

We continued walking until we arrived at a door that said. "New Student Accommodation"

"In the door of your room will be laid your name. There's no chance of changing it no matter how much you don't like your roommate. This is the place to be a knight quickly adapt to it. Your school uniform is on your bed. Good luck to all of you and see you on the training ground."

We opened the door and went inside. The dormitory has been separated into six different areas. Each area depends on which city you are from. So all the students from Renny city were gathered in one area.

I walked down the hall looking for my name with Gary, we saw our names on the doorstep as Lancy said and we were surprised by the names on the door.

The door had eight different names that could be seen. Most likely this meant we had to share a room with eight people. Another surprise was that we recognized the names.

We opened the door and went to look inside. Inside the room has a total of four bunk beds that allow eight people to sleep together. Inside the room were two students who had unpacked their belongings.

One of them was Ian, a red-headed muscular beast that fought with sharp-toothed worms. The other was a short boy dressed in all black.Hair covered his eyes and he seemed to have no facial expression at all, as if he seemed to be indifferent to others.

Gary said hello to his new roommate while I went to unpack my things on one of the beds. As I was unpacking my things, I heard a scream.

"Tidaaaak, this is impossible, how could they allow this!?" shout Sylvia. He was so shocked that he dropped his bag on the floor.

"I shared a room with the boys" she continued in panic and her face became even redder.

The entire room was now staring at Slyvia.

Gary who could not read the mood approached her with a cheerful smile.

"My name is Gary, I'm looking for..." Gary's sentence was stopped by Slyvia's bag hitting his face.

"Shut up, I don't live here"

Slyvia quickly ran out of the room to look for someone.

Moments later he returned, looking more depressed than before. I think what Lancy said is true, there's no chance of changing it.
