DEVANYE. STILL LOVING YOU

DEVANYE. STILL LOVING YOU
The Part 13

Kek Mel's engagement night!

I feel like I'd really like to get out of here. Please anyone, take me away!

The show is simple. There are no decorations or parties, only attended by both nuclear families and closest relatives.

Mel's sister wears a soft pink dres, with lace on her chest. Long arms and knee-length subordinates. The same shoes as the color of the dress. Well-favoured. Actually I gave the dress recommendation for tonight's show.

"Sister, pretty." I praised Mel's sister who was still putting on makeup. The brush on the brush on both cheeks until slightly blushing. Then he continued by tying his hair.

"Umm sister. Better his hair on leave, don't tie it. Brother is prettier if his hair is broken." I said.

"really?" I'm nodding. Mel's sister re-tied her hair. I'm helping Mel. Take a catokan and make your hair jasmine a little curl under.

"Perfects. Brother Devan would have liked it!" my spoken. Brother Mel smiled happily. This heartache is like pinching a hundred giant crabs. Maybe more!

"Good Nye. Brother likes it too." he said commenting on his own appearance in front of the mirror.

The door is knocked. Mama went inside. His smile was perfect.

"Are you ready?" ask mama. Brother Mel nodded happily.

The three of us went downstairs. Mama in front holds Mel's sister while I'm behind them both.

In the living room there are already several people. Devan and his parents, his grandmother and grandfather, as well as several others were chatting with papa. I just found out that our parents were friends!

All eyes are on us. Precisely on Kak Mel, as the main character at the event tonight. Ah look. Devan's eyes didn't even blink looking at his future fiancee. I hate to say it, but tonight Devan looks perfect! So perfect.

I just put my eyes down. It seems like one of the giant crabs called his other friend until now there are thousands of crabs fighting each other to pinch my heart!

"This is my daughter-in-law! It's beautiful!" praise mama Devan embrace sister Mel.

"Thank you aunt!" said Mel's shy.

"Tante's kok?" protest mama Devan. "Mama. From now on call my dear mother."

"Yes. M-mama." said Kak Mel terbat.

"It's a carnation, huh?" ask mama Devan to me. I nodded with a smile.

"Yes aunty."

"You're beautiful too. Call me mama!"

"But..."

"No! Mama! You'll be my kids too, right?!" Mama Devan stroked the pipinkami alternately. It's warm! So lucky, Mel!

The core event begins. Eventually they exchanged rings.

I swear, I want to curse. Not to others but to myself. Didn't I promise not to get hurt at a time like this? But why does this hurt?

That long I held my eyes. Sometimes I wish there was a phone that needed me to get out of here!

"God!" the voice of someone calling out his voice was soft beside me.

"Oma?" granny Devan grinnedly clasped my finger, giving me strength. His eyes will be filled with sadness. He was still around his sixties but his body still looked fresh for the size of his age.

Obviously I know oma because Devan used to take me to Oma's house.

"I'm not pa-pa. Oma don't worry!" I said to Oma. Opa also smiled from his place towards me. I replied with a nod of the head.

"Uld oma wish you were Devan's soul mate. You've made Devan change. Thanks!"

"Tama-sama. Sorry can't be what Ima expected."

"Oma pray you get better, baby!" Oma rubbed my cheek gently.

"Thank you." I said, Oma's eyes glazed over. I rubbed the corners of the already wet oma eyes.

"Oma don't cry. Brother Mel is also a good person!" Oma nodded then paused to get closer to Opa.

I was alone, looking at those who were happy up ahead. I should be happy too, right? Yes I am happy, but with many wounds!

"Anye, congratulate Mel!" mama nudged my arm until I jolted awake from the daydream.

"Yes ma."

Brother Mel opened both his arms wide ready to hug me. And Devan. hahh. Basic B*j*ng*n! She said love is the same as me but fiancee is the same sister Mel! And all my fault! I made it all so complicated!

"Goodbye, Mel. Kek Devan." I said after we took off each other's hugs. I reached out to Devan, and greeted him warmly. I would like to pull his hand and turn his body and make him feel pain... My barbaric soul is out already!

"Thank you Carnation!" devan said at last. Fix this the last night I met him because after this I'll make sure there's no more Devan in my mind nor in my real life.

The event continues with dinner.

All guests have gone home. Mom and Dad went into the room. I helped Mel's sister in her room.

"I'm so happy Nye!" said Kak Mel while continuing to stare at his ring finger. Mel dropped himself on the bed. I lay down beside him. Staring at the finger where the engagement ring was. Silver ring with small diamond decoration simple but elegant.

"Sister."

"Hem?"

"Then.umm... Same story I. How did you first meet?" I was wondering about the real story.

"Then..."

"Sister was looking for a job. Do you know how hard it is to find a job now?..."

"But why don't you work at papa's office?"

"No, I don't want to tell you about Devan, not about papa's office!" said Mel's a little upset.

"Hehe..iya please continue!"

"You also know why you don't work in your office!" i'm nodding.

"At that time my sister looked for the address of an office to enter a proposal there. Brother was waiting for a taxi, when suddenly a snatcher picked up the big brother's bag. All the valuables are there. I panicked and shouted for help."

Special Jasmine pov.

"Please.." I shouted as I ran after the snap. But since they're on motorcycles I can't chase them both. I don't usually run.

I was just sitting limp on the edge of the sidewalk, maybe a hundred meters I ran from where I was. Moreover, the heels I wear are quite high. Legs hurt. Without my tears dripping. Everything was there including the wallet and the phone, just the job application map that I was holding since then, and it was also worn with sweat. I don't know where this is where I don't know either.

Maybe an hour or so I sat on the edge of the sidewalk hugging my knees. The road was empty from earlier. I'm hungry too, it's been over lunch.

Suddenly a black car stopped right in front of me. Someone's out, I don't know who. He came closer and shook my shoulder.

"This is your bag?" she asked. My eyes sparkled when I saw my black bag. Because I was too happy to snatch the bag from her hand, hugging it tightly like hugging a baby.

"Thanks! thanks." I said.

"You want to apply for a job?" ask again. His hands stretched out to help me stand up.

"Yes. I will.." for a moment I was stunned to see his face. Handsome! "I want to apply for a job" I said after neutralizing my heartbeat. I think I'm in love with him. Strange, I never felt like this. It's so hard for me to fall in love again, but now... Ah he's handsome like an angel. I bet he's an angel who came down from the sky!

"Olded as Corp?" ask her when she sees the map in my hand.

"I can help, I happen to work there too." Then he showed an identification card on his chest. Devan January, and I don't know what else the name behind him is covered by his thumb.

"You work there?" He nodded quickly.

"Yes, if you want I can help you." I nodded quickly and was happy. He took the shabby map in my hand.

"Eh let me change, it's shabby."

"It's okay. The important thing is the contents inside, and inside here." he pointed at the map and then pointed at his own head. I'm washed.

What matters to all of humanity is the brain. But unfortunately sometimes important objects are rarely used properly, just like the snap!

"I'm taking you home?"

"Enterrifying. No need!"

"It's okay." He glanced in the other direction. "No taxi passed. You must be tired too, right?" I nodded, he opened the car door for me and drove me home.

A few days later I got a phone call, Aditama corp. accepted me as his employee.

It was unexpected that Devan was the son of the owner of the company. He often drove me home. And from that moment we were close.

Jasmine pov end.

"He's kind. Although he was the subsidiary owner of that famous company, but he was not arrogant and very simple. He was not even ashamed to eat on the outskirts. I love it." said Mel's sister ending her story.

If only Mel knew how Devan used to be, the man was arrogant, spoiled, and arrogant!
