I'm scared now! If I get caught I'll be under house arrest again, not ruling out the possibility that the guard will get tighter. I'm really pathetic!
My chest is beating fast. I'm really scared. Beating that big arm and shouting, but my voice couldn't come out because he was tightly smothering my mouth.
"Sst... Don't yell!"
These sounds? Really her?
Samuel?!! But he's gone!!"
He took his hand out of my mouth, I looked up. How nice I am to see this man again! My reflexes turned around and hugged her, longing, happy, scared and confused, mixed, but I was definitely calm. Sam is alive! Sam was still standing straight in front of me, with a black jacket and a black hat. Is he hiding from someone?
"Sam, you..."
"Later on, come with me!" whispering, breaking out of my arms and dragging me down the stairs. But this is up?!
"Sam, where are you taking me?" I asked, though puzzled but my feet lightly followed Samuel's steps, strange!
"Shut up!"
Going through the stairs, I'm sure we've climbed several floors, got to a door, I'm sure it's a roof. Crazy sam! I want to escape, why am I brought upstairs? What if Devan finds out?
The door opened, a strong wind immediately hit my hair. I was blocking my face with my arms, my skin getting a little sore from the hair that occasionally whipped my cheeks.
"Hurry up!" Sam pulled me over, and we came out quickly and shut the iron door.
A helicopter is ready with a fast-rotating propeller.
"Good!" his yell. I just stared quietly at my place. Ride on? I was still in shock when I last got on a helicopter a few days ago, I was like a drunk on the way down.
I didn't think Samuel was holding me in bridal style, and running towards the helicopter. I covered my face with my hands, the wind was getting stronger from the heli propellers. Someone greeted us at the heli door he helped Sam as we boarded, then immediately closed the helicopter door before airborne. I was silent and still in shock.
"Can you sit alone, right? My hands are sore, and you're heavy!" I came to my senses and descended from Samuel's lap, sitting beside him.
I don't know where this heli went, I don't know.
"Are you okay?" Samuel asked me while handing me the water in the bottle.
"I'm just shocked!" my spoken. Sam chuckled, he's good-looking when he laughs like that, but there are scars on some parts of his face.
"Sam your face? Is this Devan?" I asked while touching both cheeks with my palm. Sam laughed again.
"I hate to say it, but unfortunately it's true!"
"Is this sick? I was scared when Dev said you were gone. Did Devan do something bad to you?" My tears came out without me being able to hold on, I was sad to see Sam get hurt, and also I was sad to see Devan change!
"Here you go, your husband is just joking with me!" Sam laughed as if they were both playing games. Playing with the angel of death, right?
"No, don't cry!" Sam wiped my tears.
"Sorry, sorry Sam. If only I had complied and not been too familiar with you, you would not have gotten in trouble!" I cried sobbing. It's all my fault for asking Samuel to be my friend first.
"That's it. Still better they slander me as you. I don't know if they're paying another guy to frame you, what can they do with you, huh?" Sam giggled, as if he was telling a funny joke, but this is not funny at all!
"I'm afraid Sam. I'm mistaken. Sorry, it hurt you." My crying can't stop. My tears kept falling.
"That's it. The proof is that I still exist, right? Don't cry!" she asked, but I was crying even harder. He was like an older brother who was persuading his little sister.
"I'm still not dead because I have to collect a debt!" Samuel laughed again. "There's someone who owes me a lot, very big. And I won't die until he pays!" said again.
"Do you agree that someone who has debt must pay it?" samuel asked, I shrunk my tears as I nodded.
"You have debt, pay it!" i'm appalled. I never owed Samuel anything.
"Me?" pointing at myself.
"You forgot when we promised on the yacht, to buy me a meal at the restaurant after we pulled over?" Oh yeah, I forgot that one!
"I'm poor Sam now, I can't buy you the whole restaurant!" Samuel laughed out loud. Is something funny?
"I won't ask you to rent a restaurant, just buy me food. But it must be delicious and memorable!"
"Okay, if the price of food is below five hundred thousand I can still afford it! I'm really poor now!" Sam laughed again. It's starting to suck! He's taunting me!
"Brah!"
"Yes?"
"You want a hug, can you?" my many. Sam spread out his arms wide, I immediately went into his arms. Deep crying in Sam's hard, warm chest. I'm fragile now. I'm weak! I need someone who can calm me down, someone who can strengthen me. I'm really fragile!
I don't know how long I cried in Samuel's arms. Until the heli pilot told us something.
The heli slowly began to descend to the ground. Dark atmosphere around here. I was afraid, not of the forest, but of a large field, and when I found a lamp post, under it were some gravestones.
"Sam, what are we doing here?" I'm afraid I'm holding the end of Samuel's jacket.
"Come a minute! Don't fear!" Sam took my hand, and my mambawa got off the heli. There are many tombs, which means we are in a cemetery!
"Brah!"
"Shut up and just come along. You must say goodbye first!" said Samuel.
Not far from there we stopped at a tomb. It's mom's grave! Last time I was here was when I was getting married to Devan. Info from my mother if my mother was buried here.
I collapsed on my mother's grave, my knee hurt, but my heart hurt a lot more. It's the second time I've been here, but this time I didn't come with Dev!
Sam stood beside me. He did not try to calm me down or comfort me.
"Mother, forgive Anye! Sorry!" that's all I can say in a deep cry. "I'm sorry.." I cried, wanted to tell you all my complaints, but there was nothing I could say, my voice couldn't get out, just sobs and a look of sadness from my heart.
"Here you go!" Sam took my hand and pulled me, but my knee was completely limp. My legs trembled until I almost fell, and Sam had to knock me down to the heli. The man who was there, helped me up and sat in my chair.
"We're leaving!" said Sam.
"Where? I have no purpose." I complained.
"Follow me home! That's where you're safe!" I nodded, for some reason I just followed this man. I don't know if he's a good guy or not. Hope so!
