Gio and Naura fell silent. The atmosphere was very awkward for both of them. Naura avoided the gaze of Gio who kept staring at her.
"Hi, how are you?" Gio started first greeting Naura. Both hands he put in his pants pocket.
"I'm good." Naura replied, still looking the other way.
The tiara who was now a bit away, turned towards the two people who had once had a wonderful past. Although actually not willing to see Gio and Naura together just to talk, but Tiara felt she had to do that. Gio and Naura must speak together so that all the feelings in Gio's heart are not disturbed anymore by this past presence.
Tiara re-entered her legs with little Gio now humming cheerfully holding her.
"It's been a long time since we've met." Gio again said, no he thought if he could talk this surfing with Naura.
"Yes, right. It's been a long time." replied Naura. "We're sitting?" naura asked, exactly offering.
"No need. I won't talk to you for long. My wife must be holding back the jealousy right now because we're talking to each other again" Gio said in a cold tone.
"Oh. So she's your wife?" ask Naura.
"Hum..."
"Thank God you found the right guy, G."
"Don't call me that. You don't deserve to call me by that name." Gio rebuked Naura. Naura smiled wryly. Gio who used to love him so much has now changed. The man had never snapped at him at all like just now.
"Do you have any other purpose for coming here?" gio asked coldly, but Naura kept acting as usual, there was no fear at all from him.
"You're accusing me of following you, aren't you?" naura asked in disbelief. This boss with his assistant turned out to be very clop accusing him just like that.
"What are you doing here?" ask Gio.
"We're just on vacation. This year Gio is going to school, and I am also busy working, so what's wrong before we both get busy, we take a vacation together? Didn't expect that we would meet here." said Naura.
Gio was silent looking at this woman who was also looking at him, his eyes were the same and never changed.
"Are you happy to be married to her?" naura asked after they were silent for a while.
"I'm very happy. And I'm sure you're also ahu what I feel for her. He can beat all the flavors I had on you first. Especially now!" answer Gio.
Naura laughed softly at Gio's words just now. "Oh, I don't think you're gonna be easy to forget about me."
"One time you said that."
"Of course I pede. Don't you remember how you used to love me? You're willing to sacrifice your life for me, and I'm so grateful for that, Gio. I'm still alive today."
Naura gave her smile and puffed both of her cheeks. Gio knew for sure that the woman was trying to convey something to him. His nature has not changed.
"I'm so sorry for what happened to us in the past, G. Please forgive me. I'm so sorry" Naura said apologizing to Gio.
Gio laughed with a rough screech from his lips.
"I'm sorry you said?!" Gio's gaze was sharp on the woman.
"Yes, I apologize to you, but it's not just my fault. Heru is also guilty of this." Naura said and stared back at Gio no less sharply. Gio fell silent, feeling strange with this woman's speech.
"Did Heru not say anything to you?" ask Naura. Gio looked at Naura not understanding.
"I'm sure Heru never told you the reason why I was in a relationship and also asked to break up from you, right?" ask Naura again. Gio was getting confused and did not understand what this woman was saying. Bizarrely. Why is Heru's name mentioned here?
Naura laughed once more. His laughter now sounded lighter than before.
"really. How would he say that. He's a coward. Just so you know, G. I asked to break up with you because of him. What I like is not you, but your friend. I liked him a long time ago, but he gave up because he knew you liked me. He's giving up on you, G. And I also did that for revenge with him. I'm trying to make her jealous by giving you a hand, because I know she'd feel more hurt if your heart hurt too, right?"
Gio was silent to hear that reality. This time not only at Naura he was angry, but at Heru as well. How could he not know if the man also liked Naura? And the man relented just out of pity with her?
Gio tightened his jaw until it sounded rustling on his teeth. Both of his hands clenched hearing that.
Naura turned her gaze the other way. "Sorry Gio, I was selfish then and now. I know your view on the beach the other day. You haven't completely forgotten me, have you? I'm sorry if I hurt you, but I feel the same way about your friend's rejection, and it's just for your sake. He wants us to be happy, you and me. I'm trying to do what he wants. He's selfish, right? He wants us to be happy, he says he will be happy when we are together, but in fact .. I don't feel that way, my heart hurts. You are the only one who is happy with our relationship. I also want to feel this heart happy with the person I love."
Gio looked at Naura who was now wet on his face. The woman who once filled her days, which she had defended, apparently never felt the same as herself. Just because he wants to return the heartache and also make Heru jealous.
"Sorry, G. You want to curse me, please. This heart was already relieved by saying something like this. I'm sorry I used your name on my pura." Naura turned her body. His one foot started to step.
"Naura!" call Gio. Naura stopped her foot. His head slightly turned to the side staring at Gio with the corner of his eyes.
"I can forget you. I'm lucky to be parting ways with you, Na. If only you hadn't decided on me then, maybe I wouldn't be with Tiara right now." Gio's tone of voice sounded flat. His eyes were sharp as a sword ready to draw the body of the woman who was now several steps away from him.
Naura laughed softly. A laugh that sounded like a mock in Gio's ears. His body was now fully switched, turning towards Gio. One corner of Naura's lips lifted.
"I'm glad to hear that. No need to thank. In fact, it is I who owe you. Sorry for my selfishness!" Naura turned around again, stepping her feet towards the restaurant where her son was now.
Gio looked at the woman who was now getting away from his sight.
Everything Gio heard today made him distrustful. Why could Heru do this to her?
