Sarah's seven-monthly event was held in two places. For the seven-monthly procession carried out at Raka's parents' house during the day precisely on Saturday afternoon at 11.00 WIB until the process is complete.
And in the evening held a seven-monthly ceremony held in the banquet party held in the ballroom of the recently opened Rudiat Wijaya Hotel.
"For a more official evening, dear.there are some invited guests from our business partners and friends." Raka said to Sarah, the night before the seven-monthly event.
"I'll invite Grace, Jen and all the boutique employees, will you?" Ask Sarah.
"Of course you can, dear, everyone you can invite..." Raka seemed hesitant to continue her sentence.
"Except?" Sarah frowned, looking at Raka.
"Except that Dion..." Raka glanced at Sarah, though she couldn't hide her discomfort when she mentioned Dion's name.
"What interest do I invite him to?" Sarah asked with a sullen face.
Raka chuckled and hugged the beautiful pregnant mother with a belly that was already puffed up big even though she was lying down.
"Darling, our son has grown up, yes..Who does his face look like? look like me or look like you?" Raka stroked his wife's stomach.
Suddenly Sarah's stomach twitched, as if responding to Raka of course Raka was excited instead of playing.
"Daddy's here, honey...!" Raka hugged Sarah's stomach, and in recent days Sarah also felt the baby in her stomach very intensely moving. Sometimes in an hour can be many times the baby doing small movements. Of course, the sensation was very pleasant for this mother-to-be.
...***...
In the procession of Tingkeban, Sarah looks so beautiful with traditional kebaya clothes prepared specifically by mama.
The first time he saw his wife in that simple kebaya, Raka really did not blink.
"Did I just see an angel?" Raka said in the ear of the wife while welcoming the hand of the wife.
Sarah blushed, her red face blushing to make her even more beautiful.
According to Mama Raka, Tingkeban is one of the slametan traditions that are carried out at the age of seven months of pregnancy. This Tingkeban ceremony is only done if the child conceived is the first child for the mother.
The meaning of Tingkeban itself that education for the child has been implanted since the child is still in the womb of the mother.
"The purpose of this event is so that the baby in the womb can be born healthy and safe." Mama said, explaining enthusiastically to Raka.
At this Tingkeban event only invited close families, unfortunately Sarah's family was not present there.
Sarah had called the papa the day before, and papa just said he'd try to come. Her mother didn't want to talk to Sarah.
For Sally, in consideration of not wanting to muddy the atmosphere, Sarah did not invite him.
There was sadness when doing the flush, seven close relatives who did it without a mother and papa Sarah. Fortunately, there were a few cousins and siblings from her deceased mother who could attend, treating Sarah's isolated feelings.
The attention and affection of papa, mama, Edgar and Lila is indeed amazing, they make Sarah still feel entertained wherever she is.
After a flush that is quite draining Sarah's emotions, continued with the brojolan event led directly by Mama Raka as the baby's grandmother.
Sarah only wears a rag accompanied by a piece of rope called letrek. Mama insert a tropong or chicken egg from the top of the array until it falls to the bottom. After that, brojolan continued with two ivory coconuts that were also protruded from the array. Then mama caught the ivory coconut from under the barricade and handed it to Raka.
Sarah could barely hold back her tears as Raka cut the letrek rope with a keris as a sign of the husband being able to cut the crossbar.
Indeed, many things had been passed to get to where she was now standing with Raka, and she hoped that the husband would remain steadfast in throwing away all the barriers of their household.
In the procession, Sarah was led to another room to change clothes with seven kinds of pullcloths. In this procession Sarah was bribed by Raka with rice tumpeng and white red porridge.
"This indicates the mother who will always take care of the child and also the father who will always support his family." Mc events explained.
Raka glanced at Sarah, though,
"Of course I'll work hard to support you and our son." Raka whispered a little, Sarah responded with an amused glance.
There are funnier things when the procession breaks down ivory coconuts.
When mom handed two coconuts to Raka. He's at the betel picking one of the coconuts to crack.
"Which one should I choose?" Raka is confused by herself. On the coconut it is in the puppet character gambari that Raka does not know what it means.
He asked Sarah for consideration, the wife even shook her shoulders, as if resigned to him.
Then he hesitantly selected a coconut and broke it, to the cheers and applause present.
"The father turned out to choose a coconut pictured puppet character Kamajaya, it is expected that the baby who was born later is a handsome and mighty son." Greet the MC of the event, when the coconut smashed into the floor.
Raka immediately jumped up in excitement like the euphoria of a footballer who had just scored a goal. Unconsciously Raka hugged Sarah and kissed her repeatedly in front of the crowd,
"Darling, what did I say...? my boy!"
The sound of laughter and cheers resuscitated Raka, her face instantly crimson. He unconsciously kissed his wife in front of the crowd. At the look of Sarah, just closed her eyes with blushing pias embarrassed by the behavior of the husband that makes everyone laugh amusedly.
Sarah's seven-monthly procession runs festively and amazingly, she and Raka get a lot of fuss or money from clay, the result of exploring the ramjak on the invited guests who attend, as a symbol of the child will get a lot of fortune in his life.
"Honey, you're the prettiest street vendor I've ever seen. I'm willing to eat your homemade rujak all day." Raka pokes his wife's waist.
Sarah's seven-monthly event, completed before afternoon. There was no fatigue on his face.
An amazing experience, as parents they run the sacred procession as a form of do'a and great hope for the baby. The birth of this baby was so awaited by Sarah and Raka.
