Marrying My Brother's Fiancee

Marrying My Brother's Fiancee
EXTRA PART-THAT IS ENOUGH

Diah set herself in front of the mirror, after getting a call from Doddy to ask her to meet her parents in less than a month, there is one event where mom and dad Doddy will be in Surabaya for a week. Her mother attended a charity bazaar because she was her regular donor.

Diah's chest was pounding faster, she was nervous, what she should do, what she should say in her current status. His confidence went off somewhere, he trembled beyond his expectations.

Diah picks up her phone from the table, writes a few words in the WA message for Doddy :

"Is this not too rushed?"

Not only did Diah question Doddy once, though the answer remained the same,

"I'm sure." A short sentence that makes Diah can only blink his eyes .

After an unofficial application from Doddy two weeks ago and after that Doddy returned to Jakarta for some work, they were just talking to chat or phone.

Sometimes, Diah is stunned by how quickly she says "Yes, I will...", as a woman who is not bound by any relationship with Doddy so far, of course, the decision feels very hasty.

They are not in a state of dating, they are just friends, even if they are not close and intense friends. But Doddy without a caretaker shady has invited him to marry, of course it feels almost unreasonable.

"Why do you always ask that? you doubt me?"

Diah breathed, though,

"I feel like we should get to know each other first, because if you make a decision too soon, you can regret it." Write Diah later.

"Why should I regret it?"

The question felt overwhelming, even in a line of writing.

Not long after Diah's cell phone sounded smooth, phone from Doddy.

Diah stared at Bella's sleeping face on the bed, then inched out of the room. He did not want to welcome the call and disturbed the sleep of his little girl who was sleeping.

"What's going on with you?" That question was the first to sound flat, but Diah could have overshadowed how Doddy's expression was across there.

"I just feel like you're in too much of a hurry. I've been willing to marry you doesn't mean we should get married soon, right? shouldn't people be dating first? know each other first?" ask Diah.

"Do you love me?" The question to the point from Doddy interjected in response before Diah could catch his breath after a series of questions in his presentation.

"Oh..." Diah fell silent, confused as to what to answer.

"Do you love me?" The same question made Diah aware who was still dumbstruck.

"I love you.but..."

"That is enough! Your statement is enough for my basis to marry you."Doddy's voice sounded firm.

"I don't feel the need to date you like a kid anymore. I don't need to know you any more because when I get married, I'll get to know you as deeply as I want. I've promised myself that if I find faith in love with someone, I won't waste my time constantly doubting me, I only have one intention, I'll justify it in marriage." The words sounded full of confidence.

Diah bit her lips, trying to dive into the man who could now make her face flushed even if just thinking about it.

"I'm actually far from perfect and I'm not the perfect partner for you, I'm just afraid you regret it later on. Before that happens, you still have time to retreat. Because if you marry me, then you must love two people at once, which is me and my son." Diah bit her lip.

"I..." Doddy spoke in a low tone.

"I don't lack love if it's for you or your son. Whatever is a part of you, I would love her with all my heart if it would make you last as my companion."

Diah was speechless, only holding her phone.

"Love does not mean seeking one's perfection to deserve to be loved, but how to love someone who is not perfect in a perfect way. And you, I want you to be the one to prove it to me." The voice was resolute without any worries, almost like an instruction without wanting to be rebutted.

Everything Doddy said was as if trying to clear Diah's doubts that were really sweeping him.

"Who met them not only you but me as well. We'll face them."

"I'm not that brave." Fizz Diah.

"Why are you afraid, Diah?"

"I'm a widow, not a girl anymore. And again, our social status is also like the earth and sky. I'm afraid your parents never gave us their blessing."

"Do you love me?" The question was heard again, interrupting the sentence that Diah was saying

"Akh...i..why do you have to ask that?" diah's face was flushed, fortunately they didn't video call, so Doddy wouldn't see it.

"Answer me, please."

"You know the answer."

"But I need you to answer it, so there's no need for you to question anything else to me."

"Do I need to answer it over and over again?" Tanya Diah felt ashamed of herself.

There was no sound on the other side, but his sigh sounded smooth like he was waiting.

"I.love you."

"Thankyou, that's enough!"

Diah imagines Doddy's flat, cool face pronouncing it live, not just the sound on the phone, giving him goosebumps himself.

"I'll pick you up tomorrow after work."

"Well, aren't you in Jakarta?" Diah bengong himself.

"I'll be on the flight tomorrow morning."

"But..."

"I'll pick him up in the afternoon, take you somewhere."

"Where?"

"You'll know." Answer Doddy quickly.

"Good night, don't sleep too late. See you tomorrow." The call was closed, with no clear saying. Doddy is not a romantic guy.

There will be no words of love or excessive affectionate calls, just formal sentences that are not wordy.

The love shown by Doddy in his cold demeanor was thrilling.

Diah sighs, she can't deny having fallen in love with Doddy but the one she fears the most is facing a tomorrow where Doddy tries to bring himself to hunt down the blessing of his parents Doddy.

Thinking about all that, he had to mentally prepare if he was rejected out of the blue because of his status.

Doddy's like the sky, he's so tall. Although Doddy sent wings to fly it, but he was afraid, fell down before he could grab it.
