Marrying My Brother's Fiancee

Marrying My Brother's Fiancee
EPISODE 94 RESOLVES AN OLD WOUND

"I just want to talk for a minute." Tania said, sounding a little soft but so sure.

Sarah slowly turned around, looking directly at her old friend's eyes.

She did not speak a word, but she waited for Tania to continue her sentence. Just glued to his spot, replying to Tania's gaze without blinking.

"I'm really sorry about what happened between us. I don't feel good about acting like a stranger like this. At least, we should show we've really been friends." Tania slightly stuttered to speak, Sarah seemed to really not think it existed.

"Oh... Which part do you regret? Recognize me? or betray our friendship?" Suddenly the question glided, like a curious note stored from the past.

"It's been five years, we should have

forget that mistake. Too long to keep the anger from the past." Tania hissed, it seemed like she felt it was not a big thing to have snatched away her friend's lover in the past, it was just a game of life for her.

"Yes, too long a time, we should have forgotten it." Sarah smiled slightly but was cynical.

"I'm sorry, Sar. I know you're still mad at me." Tania interrupted quickly.

"I've forgiven you Tania, I've even forgotten everything including almost being able to forget you as the best and worst friend of my life. I don't have any more anger for what's been going on but I have a right to choose to be careful with my attitude, because you taught me to be wary of anyone, didn't you?"

"But at least in front of my boss and your husband, we can be a little warm. I beg..."Tania's face was so clear.

"You're apologizing just for that? Just so I can be friendly in front of them? I'm good enough to be quiet than I'm stale when it's not in line with how I feel."

Sarah stared intently at Tania, while the one in the eye looked wrong.

"It's not so, Sar. I mean, we're at least talking like normal people just know each other."

"Oh, can you start by giving an example of being normal? Do I have to first grope in front of you, showing off our familiarity?"

A middle-aged woman walked into the room and looked uneasy at the tension of the two women.

Sarah soon realized, this was a public place, it would be impolite to continue the conversation.

"As far as you are. I can't promise you a better attitude from now on. You certainly know me better, that I'm not the kind of person who likes to pretend." Sarah ends it by taking her handbag from the sink table, then walking past Tania out the door.

"Gram!" Tania followed out while pulling Sarah's hand.

"It's not my fault you chose me over you!"

Sarah turned around, looking at Tania with an astonished look.

"Egi is unhappy with you, he feels you are too stiff and unattractive." continued Tania half-stuck.

"Don't misunderstand my attitude, Tania. I'm not acting this way because I still have feelings for that fucking Egi! I'm just not good at pretending, another on the other lip at heart!" The first time Sarah cursed with annoyance.

"Egi chose me, because he was more able to understand his feelings. You're too open-minded, she says dating you feels like a friend, you've never been as friendly to her as a boyfriend." Tania seemed to be trying to explain in order to defend herself.

"I don't care who chooses who! I was just wondering why a friend I trusted so much betrayed me. That's all! So, if you ask me to be normal in front of everyone when dealing with you, it will take time. The rest I have forgiven you and forgotten everything. Can we understand this?" Sarah spoke at low volume.

Sarah has never talked much, not many people can make Sarah feel comfortable and close.

"If you were in my position, would you be able to act as if nothing had happened upon meeting? I trust you not only with my heart even with half my life, then you just leave with the people closest to me. Then when you meet, you expect me to kiss and hug you? Doesn't that feel weird?"

"I'm just asking, don't complicate my work with your attitude."Pinta Tania, her face was slightly intimidated by Sarah's attitude.

"I'm making it harder for you...? didn't I say anything from the moment we met? When did I make it difficult for you?"

"You're still going to approve this project, aren't you? I really am in need of his fee, and to handle it Mr. Agra has entrusted Egi. We both need funds to pay for our apartment."

Tania is a little bit flattened.

"You're married?" Sarah asked curiously.

"We are planning to get married next year" Tania replied flatly, without feeling the slightest bit wrong with what she had done.

"Have you lived together without getting married?" Sarah frowned.

Tania did not reply, her eyes looking at Sarah expectantly.

"I hope you get married soon, it's not good to live together without ties. For the sustainability of this development project, not everything in my decision, my husband also has a share. For the rest, I have no problem with you Tania.

I get a husband who is above everything else than a loser who has left me without even a word." Sarah smiled a smile.

He felt his class was way above Tania, not needing to waste time on heartache in insignificant people.

Sarah has a happy marriage, the perfect husband, the best new family. Compared to Tania, she really has been so lucky.

"I assume everything that has passed, we do not need to discuss anymore. I forgive you, even though we may not be able to repeat the same friendship as before. May you be happy with whoever you choose to live." Sarah's voice sounded calm.

Patting Tania's shoulder gently, as if releasing all the heartache she held for herself for so long on her best friend.

"I have truly forgiven you" Sarah said straightforwardly, before she turned away, leaving Tania in her place.

Seizing the happiness of others is always a price to pay. They never really win, but only enjoy a moment of false happy euphoria, the rest is just a crumb of karma.

Raka was stunned, while coming out of the men's toilet, accidentally listening to the two women's conversation. How strange his feelings, when he felt unwilling Sarah ever loved anyone other than himself and the sadness that burst forth, seeing his wife received so many wounds and tears, he said, not only from his family but from friends and people nearby.
