Marrying My Brother's Fiancee

Marrying My Brother's Fiancee
EPISODE 27 GOODBYE PAINTING

Raka had completed the check in ticket and also check in luggage, then sat with an uncomfortable feeling in the boarding room before half an hour of flight departure.

His phone suddenly rang,

A Video Call Call!

From sarah?

Raka was momentarily stunned, as long as she knew Sarah from the beginning of her marriage until now, only this time Sarah called her with a Video Call. Usually only communication via WA message only if there is a need, at best the phone was as necessary and usually Raka was the one who called.

Raka received the video call with a slightly trembling hand, for some reason.

"Hi...have you been in the boarding lounge, huh?"

On the HP screen, Sarah looks with a face that is difficult to describe, in a black dress. His long hair on the midrib so that the loose hair looks contrasted with his neck level. Her lips are covered with natural color lipstick looks elegant.

Raka was stunned for a moment, the girl was truly like the woman in the classic painting. Beautiful, simple and natural.

Why is it only now that Raka realized, this girl is beautiful even very beautiful in her simplicity.

"Yes, wait for the plane to leave in a moment"

"The road to the airport is a bit jammed," Sarah misbehaved as it was.

"Where are you?" raka asked confused by Sarah's statement.

"I'm outside, in the lobby..." Sarah replied, the sweat on her forehead sheen as if to tell her struggle towards the airport.

Raka looked at her watch, less than half an hour away, she could no longer go out to meet the girl.

"You're coming?" Raka still could not believe what she saw, especially she did not believe her sudden happy feelings by seeing the girl.

"Why?" Sarah frowned hearing an indistinct murmur from Raka's mouth.

"You said yesterday, was there a meeting with a client?" ask Raka later.

"I didn't say I wasn't trying to come?" sarah asked.

"Mama told me to take you to the airport, it's not good to lie with mom" Sarah said.

Raka feels there is a disappointment that feels infiltrated in her little heart, Sarah does not really want to deliver him to the airport with her own intentions but because it is not good just mama.

"Sorry.." sighed Raka slowly. It felt a bit strange, seeing Sarah face to face like that despite passing the HP screen. The guilt he felt increased.

"I'm sorry? what's for?"

Raka suddenly heard the girl's question.

"Sorry, I can't get out any more, soon the plane's leaving"

Sarah smiled, Raka was stunned again.Smile is the first smile that Raka saw given Sarah so loosely to him. A very sweet smile. Even the grim faces that usually radiated as they faced each other no longer existed.

"It's okay, I'm the one who apologized late to the airport" Sarah replied.

The first time Raka felt they were actually talking as normal people. Not made up, not in a state of anger and misunderstanding and not in a state of theatrics.

"Maybe in this one year, I won't be going home, please don't tell mama" Raka said.

Sarah nodded without saying anything.

"I'm sorry to have inconvenienced you so much during this time" said Raka again.

Sarah just shut up, listen.

"I promise, for my return later, I will give you good news." added Raka, in a low tone.

"Good news?" Sarah raised her black eyebrows.

"I mean, I'll plan our divorce as best I can. Later when I come home on the second semester vacation, I take care of everything" the more Raka said it somehow feels like stabbing her own heart. His throat feels choked.

"Oooh.." sarah simply replied short expressionlessly.

"I hope you have a little more patience" added Raka.

"You can be in a relationship with anyone, even that seductive Dion, as long as I'm not around."Raka chuckled, but her heart disagreed with the sentence that came out of her lips.

Sarah just looked at Raka with a face that Raka could not even put into words, whether the girl was too happy or how, but she just kept quiet. His round eyes with his pliable lashes were flashing, indicating the face inside his phone screen was not a painting but real.

A voice call in the boarding room stated that Raka's plane would depart soon enough to resuscitate Raka to end their video call.

"Just as soon as I leave, I'll hang up" Raka said.

"Yes..." Sarah answered.

"Raka.." Sarah's voice sounded a bit hoarse, this was also the first time Raka heard Sarah call her name so soulfully.

"Yes," Raka could not lie with her heart now she wished the girl had said something, either restraining her or whatever it was that made her change her mind.

"I'm sorry, too." said Sarah softly.

Sarah was really waiting for their farewell, without any protest.

Raka was too hopeful that something would change between them. At least Sarah tried to postpone it, even though Raka was not sure what to delay for?

"Well, good-bye yeah.be careful there. Don't forget to tell your parents when you arrive. They must be worried about you." Sarah smiled and hung up the phone in a hurry. No words at the end of the sentence.

Two drops of a clear circle fell on the corner of Sarah's eye. He did not understand why his conversation with Raka had been so painful. To the extent that he did not know where the tears that fell just like that came from.

Raka never had any feelings for her, she only loved Sally, not that Raka had said many times.

Lately, he has simply been complacent and over-indulgent about the charade they both run. So that it slips some impossible expectations.

Raka will divorce her when she returns from her homeland, that was her deal from the start.

Sarah should have held it in her heart so as not to waver.

But, Lord..Why now do I feel unwilling to end it all?

Sarah wiped her tears with the back of her hand.trying to throw it all the way, the desire of her wrong heart.

...***...

Raka sat leaning back in her seat, the plane had just taken off, but her heart and mind were left down there, at Juanda Airport.

Why now, her feelings are different for Sarah, though she certainly knows the girl does not want their marriage at all. The girl was forced to do so because of her helplessness and Raka's own selfishness.

Raka sighed in agitation, put a headset in her ear, Judika's voice sounded so deep chanting a song, she said,

I was wondering

About our feelings

We really love each other

Or just ever in love

Do you not feel too

The cold started to catch up with our conversation

What are your questions

Impressed only by formality

Ask your heart again

Should we break up or continue

We are maintaining a relationship

Or just delaying the farewell

Do you not feel too

The cold started to catch up with our conversation

What are your questions

Impressed only by formality

Ask your heart again

Should we break up or continue

We are maintaining a relationship

Or just delaying the breakup, wo-oo

If you ask, what do I want

I want us to t'rus together

Ask your heart again

We are maintaining a relationship

Or just, oh-wo-wo

Just delaying the farewell

Raka closed her eyes, remembering all the things that had happened during her time with Sarah, although in a short time, but she missed those times.

Goodbye my painting girl, who even just kept quiet even though you were injured.

Goodbye, to meet and part ways.
