Sally was the child raised in the care of a mother who so spoiled her, he said, her mother never really blamed her in every mistake she made so she only knew how to make her life happy without thinking about others.
"I'm grateful to finally meet you..." The voice sounded flat breaking the silence after Sarah's death. Suddenly Diah raised his face to Sally with a gaze as sharp as an eagle, eyes as if to strip the woman in front of him.
"For so long, I was really curious about the woman my husband was so passionate about, how special was he? and like what? so willingly he ignored his son and his wife, his extended family even bet everything in his life..." The voice sounded without any waves, just flowing from Diah's lips.
"But when I met you today.frankly I felt disappointed, it turned out that the person I thought was so extraordinary was, far from my estimation. My husband's taste is not far from how he is. You are destined for each other. But I can't blame you either, you two are compatible." That sentence sounded like an ear-painful innuendo.
"What do you mean?!" Sally snapped violently, so offended by what Diah said.
"You know what I mean. I'm talking about your affair with my husband." Answer Diah indifferently.
"Bram always comes to me! Don't blame me for your husband's stupidity!" Sally snorted in annoyance covering the burning feeling that was on her face. Not only was his face burning but his heart felt unusually hot.
"I never blame you for your infidelity. I only regret why I tortured myself for so long to keep a man who was not comparable to myself. Didn't you say Bram was so stupid?" Cibir Diah with smooth.
"A fool should look for someone who is the same level as him, I've judged him too high all this time." Diah pulled the corner of her lips, the smile was so stiff.
Sally's mouth was tightly clenched, staring at Diah, as this woman he had always underestimated was flipping her own words, it was like swallowing a boulder.
"Why are you here? To be Sarah's errand boy? You want to repay me? Want to take Bram back?" Sally whined while chuckling.
"I don't need to seize something that's really mine. Unfortunately, I was no longer interested in keeping him. Take it for you, maybe you two are meant to be together. Like a fly that likes garbage so much he will always feel at home with dirt, so what's the right thing for me to offer to survive?" Diah blinked her eyes, as if she was asking someone in curiosity.
Sally was dumbfounded like a bego, her hands clenched up to her waist, she was about to get angry but all was like upside down, it should have been Diah who begged her for her husband's sake or perhaps raged indistinctly because of her husband's heartache in the capture of another woman. But, as it happened, Diah was even much calmer than Sally had imagined.
"I finally feel sorry for you, even better a lurking actor who knows when to stop than a innocent woman with an affair. That is, your sanity is questionable. Why am I being so hard on such a person?" Diah's face was so calm, unaffected by emotions as Sally now shows.
"You want to curse me? Want to try insulting me? You are nothing on my appeal! You're an ordinary woman that even your husband doesn't want you!" Inflamed Sally. He didn't take it with all Diah said.
"I don't have to dirty my mouth with mockery, I don't have to scold you or Bram...I don't need to waste my energy just showing you that you've been breaking people's hearts and lives." Diah smiled wryly.
"Bram swore, he'd prefer me over you! He never loved you, he never loved you at all! You mind? what do you want now?" Sally laughed wickedly, she really had no shame at all.
"I no longer wish he would choose me. Really, I don't want him to go back to fixing our household. What kind of loyalty can I demand from someone like Bram? With me who has sworn allegiance before God, he is so easy to deny it, especially to you who only swear on the bed?" Diah shook her head, her smile was faint and cold even as if she was mocking.
Sally never felt herself so slapped for life, a Diah had insulted her so infinitely, even without taking the oath. Sally was at a loss for words in front of the woman she had cruelly hurt, the woman she thought was trash in Bram's marriage.
"Take him for you, I'm truly sincerely born now, meeting you at least, I can free myself from guilt if I have to lose my household. Thank you for taking care of my husband, please take care of him for the rest of your life. I'll divorce her soon, so I can justify your affair, it's uncomfortable to let the two of you stay one roof, clutching one bed in the shadow of a lifetime of sin. As a wife, it was probably the last devotion I could do to her." Diah smiled widely, that stiff gloomy face looked loose, she looked satisfied to have taken out all the words she wanted to express in front of Sally.
Sally stood up like a mannequin, staring at Diah unblinkingly, her body trembling and swallowing all the sentences spoken by Diah.
"Oh, yes.it looks like Sally's mom was in a hurry earlier, sorry to have held you back for too long. Please get out, I have to finish my work, move Sarah's mother's belongings to Raka's room, her husband. If this room is ready, I'll leave the key to this room to this floor lobby." He bowed his body in front of Sally in a formal manner, his right hand open towards the door.
Sally gawking completely at a loss for all the words she had in her head, Diah banished her subtly, after humiliating her to such an extent.
Sally swallowed a lot of humiliation today, from the two people she had hurt.
"The supreme art of war is to fight without violence, to defeat the opponent without touching him."
Diah has learned right from Sarah, how to take revenge.
