"I'll be leaving soon, ma'am. Who will receive this letter later?" Diah asked, hugging the map in her chest.
"Sir Doddy Alfajri. I'll send him his contact number to your WA, so you can call him when he gets to Doddy's office."
Diah momentarily gasped, not knowing what was in his head, but then nodded his head.
"Now it's past noon, have you eaten?"
"It." Answer Diah quickly.
"Me and Dad will go home later, please prepare a meeting room tomorrow morning with Ryan, yes.before everything arrives."
"Good, mom." Diah nodded her head.
Suddenly Sarah stood up from her seat and approached Diah who was standing and holding Diah's arm before Diah said the word leaving.
"Well, are you okay?" sarah asked while looking at Diah's face.
"I'm.I'm fine." Diah answered in a bit of confusion, finding Sarah examining the look on her face.
Sarah sighed and stared fixedly at the still murky face, though perhaps brighter than the first time Sarah saw it.
"You've been working with me for two months."Sarah softly said.
"Do you remember what I said first, when you first came to me?"
Diah raised her face and returned Sarah's gaze.
"Never pity yourself by being always we are victims, because it makes us feel helpless. If we have to deal with it, face it. Because everything we face today will pass when we meet tomorrow. Let us look to the past with our heads held high, not with regrets." Sarah held Diah's arm gently.
"That which is past let him pass, let it be a study of life. Never repeat the same mistake if we know it is wrong.Let's put life better ahead." Continue Sarah.
"Bram and I are going to be separated in a month." Diah's voice sounded soft. As soon as she asked for a divorce from her husband, she was still someone who was hurt. She needs someone to know that she is really on the edge of pain in her failed marriage.
All this time, Sarah had encouraged him to rise from adversity, teaching him the courage to stand on his own feet no longer dependent on others.
"Are you afraid of parting with Bram?" Sarah asked while looking directly at the teary eyes of the tang woman. He was just trying hard, even though he was fragile.
Diah blinked her eyes that felt sore,
"Do you still love her?" Ask Sarah again.
A moment Diah was silent, those eyes were shining pus on the only friend and Boss who understood him so well.
"I don't know what love feels like anymore, I don't remember how it feels..." Diah's lips trembled.
"If you feel your heart is big enough to forgive Bram and get back to him, it's not too late. But, ask again really to your heart, whether you can accept it as you are after you have been hurt and betrayed so deeply. It's never the same again, when there was another woman in your marriage. Every time that memory comes back, is it true that you can live such a life?"
She shook her head, biting her lips.
"Stand up straight, Diah.don't be afraid, you have a God who takes care of you. Don't torture yourself for a man who never appreciates you. Live with the self-esteem that you uphold as a woman who is no longer trampled. Tell yourself, everything will be fine..." Sarah hugged Diah whose eyes suddenly dewy.
"I'm not afraid of anything anymore..." Sahut Diah confidently, a drop of clear circle that had fallen on the gap with the back of his hand, shortly before Sarah let go of his embrace.
"You can move into my apartment near the boutique. If you need a place to stay after you get out of your current home."
Diah nodded, a faint smile on her lips.
"Now that I have to deliver this letter, I'd better get going." He bowed his body in a row. He felt relieved, having spilled his anxiety ahead of a month of his follow-up talc drop. There was no mediation or attempt to repair each other, even now that Bram had stayed back with Sally.
...***...
"Mr Diah, I just got a call you have arrived at the airport, I will pick up Mr. Rudiath first. Diah's mother can wait for me here if it's done with her business. Or later pick up the office driver?" Mr. Ardi stopped right in front of a 5-story building which is the address of the branch office of the Ferdian company. Here is Doddy's office if it is in Surabaya.
"No need to pick me up, sir. I can go home by myself by taxi." Sahut Diah while getting off the car carrying a bag and map from Sarah.
Mr. Ardie said he was also in a hurry to pick up Mr. Rudiath who had just arrived at the airport.
As soon as Diah set foot on the ground floor, the receptionist received him and a playful, well-dressed man escorted him to Mr. Doddy's room on the top floor.
"Sir Doddy's been waiting for you..." The man said it was friendly.
As Doddy's office opened, the man immediately stood up from his seat welcoming Diah.
"Thank you for coming here, ma'am...Heh..." The way Doddy recited Diah's call sounded strange, as if it were so euphoric.
They had met twice in the office but only briefly. Never speak more than a few words. She welcomed him as a guest with a very formal attitude.
"Thank you, sir.I was asked by Ms. Sarah to deliver this..." Still standing, Diah ran the map in his hand.
"Yes, Sarah's mother has told me you delivered her. Please sit down." Doddy allowed Diah to sit on the guest sofa chair while receiving the documents Diah handed over.
Diah hesitates for a moment, but Doddy seems to notice him, he sits on one of the sofas, his eyes fixed on the map he was holding and opens it, examine the sheets in it and a folded paper neatly.
Diah awkwardly sat across the guest table where Doddy seemed to frown reading the contents of the letter in the folded sheet.
Before long she lifted her face, smiling at Diah.
"I'll prepare the sheet that Sarah's mother asked for, you can wait for her." Her speech. Diah just nodded her head, she did not think Sarah's letter had a reply. He thought he was just delivering it.
Doddy's eyes were fixed on the wall clock, his forehead creasing slightly.
"Can you wait here?"
"I can wait outside." Answer Diah stammering.
"I just pray for a while, I'll be back..." Doddy stood up.
"I can wait below, maybe if there is a mushola below." Diah said, she really doesn't feel good if she waits alone in Doddy's office.
"It just so happens that we can both pray here."
"Here?"
Doddy showed me a door that was connected in his room.
"There is a musholla in here..."
