"Mom.mama..." Sally hugged her stiffened body over the patient's gurney, trying to keep pulling the cloth covering her mother's face.
"Sally's..." Sarah pulls her sister from behind but Sally continues to hug her mother's body, after an autopsy for the purpose of investigating the cause of death and then returned to the family.
Based on the results of the visa, Mytha died from a fall from the balcony of her third floor, and was estimated to be due to suicide.
"Mama, look at me ma.why did you cover your face. Why don't you want to see Sally again?"
Sally called with a clear face.
"Sally, don't be like this.mama wouldn't be happy to see you like this." Sarah tried to get Sally.
"Sarah, look at Mama. She can't sleep there.mama must be cold..." Sally revolted and took off the coat she was wearing and covered the covering of her mother's body.
Raka just stood in the corner of the room, speechless except to stare at Sally sadly, letting Sarah try to calm her down.
"Mama.why mama like this.many things I want to say to mama. Why did my mom stay silent. Mama must be mad at me, Sarah. He's angry because I didn't obey him." Sally turned her body to look at Sarah so fondly. Sally's face turned pias into fear, like a scared child in the law.
Sarah could not hold back her tears, in Sally's arms affectionately.
"Mama's not mad at you, Sally." Sarah with a hoarse voice.
"But mama..."
"Mama just wants to sleep." Sarah patted Sally's back looking confused in her arms.
"We'll bring the mother's body to be prepared to take home." Two nurses who had been standing there, for carrying the gurney from the post-Visum room, asked Sarah for permission.
Sarah nodded her head, still hugging Sally who seemed devastated and even so hysterical that she could no longer control herself.
As the creaking sound of the gurney wheel carrying Mytha's body was pulled, Salli turned around and ran to hold her back.
"Where's mom? Where'd you take your mom??" His eyes were angry.
"We're gonna take mom home." Sarah swallowed her saliva, her voice sounded raucous, she felt so lost her foster mother who left in such a sudden manner but was more sad to see Sally's state of shock at her mother's departure.
"We'll just wait here, mama's coming home with us." Sarah spoke softly while releasing Sally's hand from the edge of the iron gurney.
Sally's grip slowly slipped, but her confused eyes gnawed at Sarah. She was like a little Sally who seemed to believe in Sarah, as little Sarah took her hiding in a dresser and told her,
"We have to stay here, Santa klaus will come tonight with a big doll bear for you. If we're outside, he doesn't dare to come in, and he'll just pass by his train."
Sally's breathing sounds calm, she's holding Sarah's arm, strong. There was no longer a fiery, fiery Sally who looked at Sarah hatefully. Only a Sally who was overwhelmed with sadness in her soul was shaken.
Sarah called Sally a few hours ago after receiving news of her mother jumping from the third floor of their home and her life was not saved, dying on her way to the hospital.
Sally who seemed to be depressed when she arrived was in severe shock even barely looked dazed. His attitude became strange, like he could not accept the reality, his emotions like a small child were unclear.
"Mama doesn't like to mess up, she has to dress up first, so she can go home with us." Sarah said that sentence, her tears fell in the corner of her eyes, really unbearable with the state of Sally, her sister's soul was really shaken very deeply.
Sally nodded and remained silent as the gurney was carried away. Sarah bit her lips, a great guilt was infiltrating the corner of her heart, she felt she was the cause of the tragic death of the mother, after her mother was angry to not accept the position taken by Sarah.
...***...
Sarah was silent, after doctors injected Sally with a sedative.
"Mama! Why did you put your mom in a crate! My mom doesn't like tight places. Mama's afraid of the dark! My mom must be takuuuut....!!!" Sally yelled angrily, some people caught her including Raka as she tried to pull the body of her mother.
"Well! Stop Sally..."The first time in years, Raka hugged Sally's body, holding her back from the fight.
"Take me off! Untie me...!" Sally's unobtrusive eyes were staring at Raka, and that's when Raka realized Sally's eyes were so empty as if she had lost her soul.
Sally doesn't even know him anymore.
"Take me off..." The foreign gaze made Raka shiver.
"Sarah.where is Sarah..." He broke away from Raka like a frightened man, scattering at Sarah. It was as if in this world she only knew her brother.
"Sarah, they're mean to mama..."Like a child, she hugged Sarah by the neck. Sarah's heart was never this broken to see Sally.
Now that the doctor has given her a sedative, according to doctor Sally needs a psychiatrist, her soul is completely disturbed.
"Darling..." Raka patted Sarah's dead shoulder sitting on the chair staring at Sally who seemed to be asleep quietly with regular breathing in the patient's bed.
"I've called papa, he's leaving Canada this morning..." Say Raka with low volume.
"Mama's body is ready to be brought home..." Added carefully.
Sarah nodded without speaking. She pulled him a white blanket over the patient and wrapped Sally in affection.
"Sally is in shock, she needs a lot of rest. We're waiting for him to wake up and calm down..." Sarah tried to smile even though her face was still puffy.
"Darling, don't blame yourself too much..." Finally Raka could not bear to not talk to see the state of his wife.
"I'm just sad, why did you have to do this." Sarah's voice shakes.
"Everyone has their own way of life, no one knows how we go back to God. It's the way, there's nothing we can do about it."
"I'm afraid.this is because of me..." Sarah lowered.
"Darling..." Raka lifted his wife's chin gently, wiping away the tears that had descended there.
"It's not because nobody, nobody can bend destiny. Everyone has their own way of life, no one knows and can withstand it.
And mom ended all her life struggles in her own way, not because of anyone. There is no need to question and regret it, all we can do is pray, may God give him forgiveness. May he be at peace on his way home to the Lord. May there be a place for him.we can only pray" Raka hugged Sarah.
And in the arms of her husband, Sarah sobbed, her body shaking vigorously in her grief.
No matter what happens, no matter what they do to her, Sarah always considers them her family.
"I'll take care of Sally for mama. I'll take care of my sister, for mama..."Sarah said tremblingly, in her grief on her husband's shoulder she harbored all her feelings.
