Marrying My Brother's Fiancee

Marrying My Brother's Fiancee
EPISODE 223 EXCHANGES FLAVORS

"What do you want, actually?" Bram asked once more, as if he could only repeat the same question, his eyes unblinking to the serious-looking Doddy in front of him.

"Just let Diah go..." The short sentence hung from Doddy's mouth but made Bram gasp in place.

"Who are you that feels so entitled to say that to me?" Bram asked in a quivering tone, he felt completely dislike of the sentence Doddy spoke, as if he was trying to eat away at his maleness.

"As a man, I don't deserve to say this, but as a friend, I don't think Diah deserves to be hurt. If you think he means nothing. Just release. It's not good to hang people's feelings just in the name of status, I think everyone knows exactly what happened. One Rudiath-Wijaya Group building knows, your affair, it's no secret." Doddy raised the coffee cup calmly, but made Bram's face red.

The shame of ambushing could not be lied to him, when there was someone who bravely told him the honesty.

"You know what it's like, when you walk and everyone is staring at your back and talking about you? while you don't know anything yourself and it's not your fault but everyone's gossiping about you?"

The question sounded buzzing in the ears, slapping Bram in the face.

Instantly Diah's countenance flashed before her eyes, as if she was stepping in the sight of many sneers.

Bram shook his head, trying to cast the shadow, as if Doddy had just hypnotized him for a question that trapped his feelings, while now his heart was hesitating over the decision he was trying to think about, is he trying to defend his household on the brink of collapse or part with his wife, as Diah now seems so eager to do.

For a moment the atmosphere became gripping between the two people. Doddy raised his coffee glass, the edge of the coffee cup stuck for a moment on Doddy's lips. He sipped back his coffee, as if giving a pause to Bram to digest what he said.

"That's how Diah feels now..." Continue in a sincere tone of concern, after they both enjoy silence.

"You have absolutely no right to comment on anything about my household." Bram shows his anger but his heart is suddenly touched when he imagines what Diah is going through, because of his actions.

"I have no right to comment on other people's households, just as a friend who knew him from a long time ago maybe even before you really knew Diah, decades ago, he said, I seem to have to represent his heart a little."

Bram was silent, now that he understood why Diah seemed to not be so concerned with Doddy, it turned out that they had known each other for a long time.

"No need to interfere in my affairs." Bram threw out his face, trying to calm his rumbling heart. Very uncomfortable indeed, when someone is talking about our personal affairs so clearly.

"What if you turned into Diah? Do you accept if your partner has another woman in your marriage. Or put it this way, how do you feel when you see Diah close to other men, even if there is no relationship? Didn't you fire your own beard? Jealousy, that's for sure. But have you ever taken Diah's place when you blatantly betrayed your marriage? Not just behind, but in front of Diah without the slightest refutation even though just to lie to his heart?" Doddy did not take his eyes off Bram who was frozen in the opposite seat, his face was red, between not receiving criticism by Doddy with guilt that hit his conscience.

"You don't love him, at least you have a heart. For the man who has sacrificed his time, his life to endure accompanying you for so long, you should have a little humanity. Diah has suffered so much."

"What did Diah say to you, that you stood up to him like this?"

"As long as I met Diah again, he never said a word about his suffering, but as a person who had known him for a long time, I knew he was really in a slump. In the struggle of his household that perhaps not all women can stand in his place, not once he complains and indulges in the disgrace of his household, though I hope he tells it a little to ease his burden. How could you ask if Diah was looking for a defense for me." Doddy pulls the corner of his lips, though he tries to be calm but Bram catches something in Doddy's eyes while revealing a long sentence without that pause. A flash of taste that is not just sympathetic, to the person he is talking about.

"Everyone knows about your scandal with the son of the Rudiath-Wijaya Group's top brass, everybody. It's just that people keep quiet and pretend they don't know, don't want to interfere, because no one's interested in it..."

"Then what is your interest in meddling in my affairs?" Bram interrupted.

Doddy was silent for a moment, he did not speak but his sharp but shady eyes were not rippling as if he wanted to talk a lot.

"Why are you quiet?" Lecar Bram, for some reason his heart was broken when he found Doddy's gaze hiding something. It feels so strange, when there are other people who care so much about women who have been realized in the last few months as women who are wasted.

Well, Doddy doesn't have to talk at length about Diah's suffering, in the days leading up to his divorce, he's so gambled to know, it's not easy to live to be Diah.

Pestering as he recalled Diah's face in their last few quarrels, his wife had been so cold and so stiff from everything she had done.

Bram had tried to show his jealousy, hoping that Diah would be aware, but the wrong way to compare Sally to Diah made things worse, even though she was very jealous at the time. But, Diah seemed to lose her taste.

And now, there was a man with a raised chin defending Diah for the injustice he had done, it turned out to be very painful, as if a knife had struck his deepest heart.

"I don't have to give you an excuse about that, as a friend I don't think I should be silent about this injustice..." Doddy seemed confused for a moment with his own sentence.

Bram leaned on the man across the table, the coffee cup from the front of his nose, sliding slowly in a smooth crackling sound.

"Do you love my wife?"

The question was not loud but sounded so deep.

Doddy Alfajri gasped, his mouth was clenched, his tongue was twisted.
