That night, Rein painstakingly put Tio and Aska to sleep in the room. He read children's fairy tales that are outdated and often he tells Tio. Although worn out, Tio never expressed his displeasure at hearing the same story as before, she was happy to be excited as well and it was not uncommon for her little mouth to chim in on Rein as if she was showing off how great she was in front of Aska.

Rein finds it funny, and thinks that his son has now completely descended Davin's vices.

The door to her room was unlocked from the outside by Davin. The tall male figure stood still at the entrance threshold while looking at Rein. His almond eyes shone brightly under the dim light of the sleeping lights. It was not clear what Davin was thinking because under the dim light Rein could not judge it easily.

"Have the kids slept?" Ask Rein.

Rein replied, "They just fell asleep."

Rein answered briefly, not out of indifference but out of a sudden awkwardness creeping into his heart. Now there is no sound of children as an atmosphere-melting background that automatically makes awkwardness multiply the pull.

This awkward and cautious atmosphere reminded Rein of the years of his approach with Davin. Rein stared more at Davin from afar, silently admiring Davin's cold, very handsome face. Davin used to serve as the head of OSIS at school and was judged by many girls for his good looks. Besides being handsome he is also smart and cold to anyone, not least to girls who are nicknamed school flowers because of their beauty. Obviously this makes many girls more challenged to get closer to Davin but nothing works, not one.

But Rein is the exception. One day there was no wind what Davin suddenly came close to Rein under the pretext of asking for help, then using the pretext of studying together, then use the pretext of borrowing Rein's items so that they will meet continuously without stopping.

Rein was happy and he became a big head. Despite being only close to Davin he is still very grateful. He happily continues to be stuck with Davin until they finally get into the same college. Rein did not expect that when God loved him so much, God created many opportunities for a meeting between Rein and Davin. They repeatedly met under the pretext of friendship which then propagated to become friends but friendly.

The relationship without that status did not last long because on November 11, 8 years ago, Davin suddenly expressed his feelings to Rein which was honestly very surprising. Rein did not expect that the idol of the girls in school and in college turned out to harbor a sense of him.

Back then, he was very happy and unhesitatingly accepted it. They then live together in a modest house that Davin gets from his apprentice salary at his Papa's office. They live in simplicity, acting like loving husbands.

True, their feelings of love cannot be lied to and cannot be hidden. Because of this love Davin also ventured to bring Rein home to meet Mama and Papa. Surprisingly, Mama and Papa Davin instantly liked Rein during their first meeting.

They flatly praised Davin for being smart about getting a good wife. Well, those times were so much fun that eventually 3 years of their relationship went all that happiness soon evaporated just because of 1 stress.

They parted ways, going through difficult years stuck in longing and hate, those were the hardest years Rein had to go through in this lifetime.

"Rein," Davin's husky voice drew Rein from his long daydream.

He regained his senses, staring at Davin still standing in the same spot while looking at him with the same eyeballs.

"Have the children fallen asleep?" Davin unwittingly repeated the same question to Rein.

Questions that he should have known the answer to without needing to ask.

Rein smiled amusedly, "They're asleep, Davin. Tonight you have no place to join us."

Davin was stunned, he stared at the two empty sides of Rein that Tio and Aska had occupied with complicated expressions.

If he knew the two boys would trouble him, then he would rather take them to his room so that they could sleep the four of them freely.

"You talking outside?" Davin takes an alternative path to entice Rein to come along with him.

"Are you not sleeping?" Ask Rein astonished.

Davin must be tired of working all day so it is not impossible that he feels very sleepy and wants to fall asleep continuously.

Davin made up the excuse smoothly, "Tonight I had trouble sleeping because today I had a nap. So, what do you want?"

Rein did not answer. He looked at Tio and Aska first to make sure that the two of them were already completely asleep.

"Well, we're talking outside." Break Rein while removing the blanket from his body and descend carefully so as not to wake them both up.

Rein did not see Davin a few seconds ago raise his fists high in response to the spontaneous happy-stricken body. Davin smiled broadly as he lowered his fist hurriedly hiding it from Rein's sight. He had to remain authoritative in front of Rein in order for his impression to be even better. He doesn't want to look silly in front of the person he likes.

Davin waited for Rein to come out of the room before closing the door. They then went to the living room to chat. Coincidentally tonight the rain fell very heavily, causing a loud gurgling sound from the rain that sounded very soothing nerves.

"Do you feel cold?" Implicitly Davin offered a warm embrace to Rein.

But unfortunately Rein doesn't understand the clue that Davin made. He thought Davin was asking purely out of curiosity with no particular meaning.

"No, why? Are you cold?"

Davin forced a smile on his face, "Yes, it's a bit cold tonight." He wanted to be hugged by Rein.

But again Rein saw no hint of it, not a warm embrace Rein offered but a comfort-service that was very far from Davin's expectations.

"Then I'll make you a warm drink"

"No need, you don't have to. I'm fine and not too cold." Davin immediately cut off Rein's words when he saw her getting up from the couch.

Rein hesitated, "It's really okay?"
