My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend

My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
74. Not my business

That night the villa again felt empty for Rein. He was sitting pensively in front of the window of his room, watching some fancy cars and passing by in front of Davin's villa. They must be the owners of the villa next door, Rein thought.

Alone here, Rein doesn't know what to do because he still doesn't know this place. Besides that his son had long fallen asleep due to not having time to nap and tired of playing, Rein could only sigh helplessly at his son's slowly changing habits.

While Davin, except out for lunch and dinner, he always locked himself in the room with work glasses that always burdened the base of his nose. Rein doesn't know why but he always feels that Davin is hiding something from him. Plus temprament Davin is much better than when in the company, making Rein often feel confused how to respond Davin.

"What am I thinking" He rubbed his face trying to shake off the strange thoughts that were running through his head.

"It's just your feeling, Rein, he's still the same person."

...🍃🍃🍃...

Rein couldn't sleep because Dimas from this afternoon until tonight just kept calling her. He felt like he was being terrorized and he did not dare to pick up the phone. He only sent a reply message that they would meet when there was free time. After that Rein did not reply to any messages Dimas sent or pick up the phone from him.

Dimas was disappointed, he understood. But his position here is difficult. If he stubbornly wants to take Tio then Davin can use many ways to take Tio or separate him from Tio. Rein difficulty.

As a mother, she clearly prefers to keep her son than to keep listening to her best friend.

Disappointing, right?

Yeah, Rein knows he's been a huge disappointment to his best friend.

"Ah, I'm thirsty." He then got up from his seat, making sure Tio slept soundly on the side before heading out to fetch some drinking water in the kitchen.

It was now 11pm and Rein noticed the other villas had already turned off some of the lights if they started to rest.

"Here is no different from in the apartment, everyone is busy with their own world." Rein murmured in between sipping his drink.

Suddenly his attention was distracted when he heard the sound of hasty footsteps in the living room. In fact, Rein had also heard there was a hard object that accidentally hit the table. What is Davin doing?, he thought.

"Oh, am I bothering you?" Davin asked with a hand that was holding the calf to the right.

It seems he accidentally hit the table.

"No, I only drink in the kitchen." Rein replies that he feels weird about Davin.

Although his indifferent tone could not be eliminated but Rein felt that Davin was much better than before. He no longer uttered such sharp cold words in the office.

Makes Rein wonder if Davin has multiple personalities or something?

"Are you okay?" Origin rein asked.

Davin stood up straight again after feeling more comfortable. Rein realizes that Davin has a black coat in his hand and a car key. Davin will go out at a time he thinks is quite late. But where?

"I'm fine." Davin said while wearing his black coat.

Inserting the car keys into his pocket, he hurriedly put the shoes under the supervision of Rein's curious eyes. I don't know why it feels so awkward tonight to be on the same roof again with Davin.

"Sleep, and don't wait for me to come home. There's important business I have to finish outside so maybe I'll be home a little late." The message before exiting the villa door.

Bam

Davin closed the door impatiently, leaving Rein still silently staring with a glass of water in hand.

"A little late? Hah, he still hasn't changed. Never mind, this is none of my business anyway." He said he didn't care.

Go back into the kitchen to wash the glasses he used to drink and go back into the room to rest.
