138. Adit's Suffering
Davin came home sooner than he had planned after bad news from his bodyguard at home. He did not continue his agenda to the next place as his mind and focus had been filled with Rein's beautiful face while smiling sweetly welcoming his return.
Then, here he is now, standing right in front of the lover who has filled his mind all day. The lover looked at him with a pouting expression that was very tickling the contents of Davin's heart. He could not help but a wide smile formed in his lips, taking steps unhurriedly while stretching out his hands to hug the lover.
"Thank God you're okay." Whisper Davin relieved.
Rein joined in with a smile, the pouting expression on his face instantly disappeared replaced with a red hue filled with longing.
"Dav, I brought someone else into your villa." Rein said in a muffled voice inside Davin's arms.
Davin had already heard the details of the incident earlier this afternoon at the villa and he had also learned that Rein had brought a woman into the villa. But he was still unhappy with this idea because he was afraid that the woman was one part of Revan's plan.
"My villa is yours too, everything I own is yours." Davin corrected firmly.
Rein snatches the disapproval in Davin's arms but he doesn't voice it because the matter isn't important right now.
"Rein, don't just bring someone else into our house. I don't want what happened to Aska yesterday to happen back here." Davin is starting to have a hard time trusting strangers now and she has had this attitude ever since Aska was given sleeping pills by her own trusted caregiver. Though the nanny of the woman had earned Davin's trust but was betrayed.
Davin learns from this experience and it will no longer be that easy to trust an outsider because the safety of his small family means so much more than anything in the world.
"He's not a stranger, Dav. But he was my best friend while working at your company. If he was okay then I wouldn't have brought him in either but the situation was very worrying. He seemed to have a fear of being touched by men because none of your subordinates had managed to persuade him. Though his legs are very swollen due to sprains and must be treated immediately."
