32. Are You Regretting?
"Did he deliberately want to play me?"
This is not impossible. They were once part of an unpleasant past so to make up for all the inconvenience Davin might use this encounter of theirs as part of his revenge plan.
"Past time.." His mind flew back in that hostile morning.
That morning it was so cold, Rein couldn't deny it.
"Then..how the 3 years we spent together, does not that time mean beautiful to you?"
Rein closed both his eyes tightening. This stupid question still lingered clearly in his memory. In the past, he thought that the times they had passed were beautiful, very beautiful.
"Beautiful?"
Davin found the question funny. He laughed but it was not the laughter Rein wanted to hear in this life.
"That's wonderful for you but for me the 3 years I spent with you were a nightmare! I'm almost crazy every day listening to my office mates talk about how close we are. They say this relationship is disgusting and embarrassing. I'm sick of hearing those damn words, nor am I willing to let my precious time go to waste with you. Hah. Lately I've started to realize that sleeping with you feels unsatisfactory like it used to be so I have a reason to end this damn relationship. Now do you understand?"
And Rein still vividly remembered how stupid he was that morning after hearing these words. He was speechless or rather he could not refute whatever Davin said.
"Rein's.. Rein!"
"Ah, huh?" Rein withdrew from his reverie.
"Are you okay?" The man next to him asked.
Rein nodded lightly. He just realized that the coffee order was ready.
"I'll be delivering this coffee soon to Mr. Davin's office. Miss Dinda, thanks for the coffee. Hem, it smells so good."
Ms. Dinda laughed out loud typical of the laughter of a Mother who was free from the twists of debt.
"You could have, Rein. Go and don't daydream again next time."
After a brief chat with Ms. Dinda, she took Davin's coffee order to her room on the 11th floor. He could not use the emergency stairs to get to the floor so he was forced to crimp with other employees upstairs.
Employees of the 5th floor to the next are classified as having a high position in this company. They did not know Rein very well and were more unfriendly to rude officers like Rein.
"Can't you use the emergency stairs?" One of the beautiful women who was disturbed by the presence of Rein reprimanded.
Rein is not easily intimidated, "This is coffee for Mr. Davin."
The woman's face immediately turned ugly. He looks angry but also embarrassed because of the attention of other employees.
"Oh yes, even if this is for Mr. Davin you shouldn't have crammed yourself between us."
The implication was obvious, the woman indirectly lowered Rein's position. Well, it's only natural to find biased action here. From caste and appearance, people always have a way to bring others down.
Rein glanced at the id card that was in front of the woman's chest.
"Suggestions from, Ma'am, good too. But don't blame me if Mr. Davin later asked why the coffee order is late and first become cold before it can be drunk. What, Miss Yuni, no problem?"
Again, Rein's response made the cool employees watching the show have to hold back laughter. There were even some people who let loosely laughed, making Yuni even more embarrassed.
"Basic poor." Umpat Yuni did not want to argue anymore with Rein.
Rein shrugged his shoulders unconcerned. He did not reply to Yuni's harsh words and considered what Yuni said just now was just the wind.

The people who filled the elevator started scattering out were no exception Yuni, the woman who reprimanded Rein earlier.
"Ops.." Yuni deliberately nudged Rein's shoulder before coming out so that the coffee water spilled slightly on the tray. Making the tray dirty and staining the edges of the coffee cup.
Just look at Rein can imagine how Davin would react when he saw this coffee.
"You intentionally?" Rein asked with a smile that was no longer called a smile.
Yuni smiled widely without the slightest guilt, "Right, are you sorry now?"
