124. Oddity Aska

Aska sulks, she refuses to drink the drink given by the woman but Rein forces her to drink it. Davin said Aska did have very bad health so she had to keep receiving energy from drinks that doctors prescribed.

Rein felt this was not true because during Aska's stay with her, she looked very energetic like a typical child. He woke up early with Rein's persuasion, and the night's sleep had to be persuaded by Rein. Otherwise, he might stay up all night playing with Tio. They will forget the time when they are together.

Rein was anxious to see it. He rubbed the top of Tio's head before going inside the kitchen looking for his other son. In the dark room. Rein had to turn on the sleeping lights to see the situation inside.

He hit the room light switch. Then, the room was surrounded by a bright light coming from the room lamp above the ceiling of the room.

Rein did not have to bother to circulate his gaze to all corners of the room because his son's tiny body was now lying on a mattress.

Aska seemed to still be angry, Rein thought. He had never been out of the room since drinking the woman's drink and was very quiet. Rein thought he was going berserk to create trouble for Rein. But it turns out Aska was acting obediently. He harbored his frustration in silence and chose to pretend to sleep on Rein's bed. "Come, Son. Mommy already masakin you fried chicken you know, later if you do not come out all the fried chicken spent with Tio." Rein tries to pull Aska out of her pretense.

But Aska still behaves the same. He does not move, does not make a sound, or give any response other than the sound of his gentle regular breathing.

"Son?" Rein rubbed Aska's face but there was still no response.

"You're asleep, son?" Rein now switched to patting Aska's cheek lightly but still did not get the desired results.

Rein let out a long breath. He was now completely certain that Aska was already sleeping. But again he felt strange with Aska.

Aska usually has trouble sleeping because he wants to play continuously but is very easy to wake up if he hears the sound of interference around him.

But look at that, not only did he not wake up but he also did not feel bothered by the sounds that Rein created. It was as if Aska had fallen unconscious instead of being asleep.

"Rein, why did you call Adit instead of calling me?" Davin's husky voice now sounded very clearly inside Rein's ear.

Rein smiled gently. He imagined that his lover across the street was smiling softly in front of important files.

"I'm afraid you're busy, Dav." He didn't want to bother Davin.

If it can't help Davin for work then at least Rein won't interfere with Davin's work.

"I've said it over and over again, as long as it's you, all my work won't be worth anything." Davin said softly across there.

Rein let out a long sigh, he was completely helpless with the sweet words of his lover.

"I know but I still don't want to bother you, Dav." Rein then brought his eyes to look at Aska who was still sound asleep on her bed."Moreover, this is about Aska, sister and son of both of us." Rein could not remove the uneasiness from his tone.

Davin across the street was delighted with Rein's sincere confession of Aska, but he could not shake the panic when he heard there was a tone of unrest in Rein's voice.

Davin believes that Rein is not an impulsive person, especially when it comes to children. Then if Rein took the initiative to contact him, then this matter must be very important and beyond the limits of Rein's ability.
