My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend

My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
2. Scratches on a Cold Night

In front of the hotel he sees Davin walking with a beautiful woman. When viewed from his appearance Rein was sure the woman was a model or the like.

It seems that the two of them will enter the hotel.

Shaking, Rein took his cell phone to call the lover's number. The lover's first call still hasn't picked him up, Rein thinks maybe he didn't bring a cell phone or maybe he didn't hear the sound of his phone.

But Rein insisted on calling again.

The second call of the lover still did not lift but from the window of the car Rein saw the woman hugging Davin's arm while whispering something into his ear.

His actions are intimate like lovers in general. Making Rein subconsciously bite his lips held back the tightness that increasingly filled his heart.

After getting a whisper from the woman, Davin reached into something from his pocket.

"What's wrong?" Davin's lazy voice sounded from Rein's phone.

Rein smiled a little holding tight, apparently his lover did not forget to bring a cell phone or not hear the sound of his call. Maybe he did it intentionally.

"Where are you, baby?" Rein asked trying to hold back the sound.

Davin at the other end seemed to pull the woman into his arms, holding the woman's slender waist in a sensual and intimate gesture.

"I'm in the office again, why?" Even his voice was now more indifferent than before and he even lied.

That's not true, though,

The fact is Davin has been indifferent to him for some time. It's just that Rein just realized it at the wrong time.

"What..can you go home tonight?" There was no warm reminiscing liquid on his face that was now starting to turn pale.

"I can't go home tonight, I'm so busy." He answered very busy but the truth is? Rein saw that he was hugging the beautiful and sexy woman right in front of a famous hotel.

"You're so busy. Can I come to your office?" Rein sincerely hopes Davin immediately replies 'yes' and releases the woman from his arms.

Unfortunately, he was too confident.

"Why did you come to my office? Never mind, don't be childish! You came to the office instead of helping but you made trouble for me. Just stay home and wait for me to come home." His voice seemed disturbed and unhappy.

Rein remained silent for a few seconds. His two wet eyes stared blankly at the mismatched couple still standing in front of the hotel. They did not hesitate to make intimate movements even though there were many people paying attention.

Ah, Rein forgot.

They are normal partners so it is perfectly normal to act normally in front of normal people.

"I'll stay home and wait for you to come home. Honey, please don't get too tired to work and just go home." His scales with both wet eyes were still staring blankly at their intimate movements there.

"Hem."

Davin shut off their connection. Out there she seemed to be peeping her lips short, pulling her inside the hotel unaware that a pair of wet eyes were watching her interaction with the woman. The wet-eye owners have not been making a sound since their connection was severed. He simply stared silently at the back of his lover who had been the strongest shield in his life for the past few years.

Now, that back was reluctant to stand up to protect her because there was already a more beautiful and perfect woman in his arms now.

"You know, son, the men of this world aren't just him." Said the taxi driver while giving Rein some tissue.

"Thank you." Rein accepted it politely and immediately wiped a trace of tears from his face.

He turned out to be very crybaby.

As a man who already had children he could not bear to see Rein's painful expression. He seemed to see if his daughter was in Rein's position now. Crying silently watching a loved one having an affair with another woman.

God, how painful that is.

"Sir, please continue our journey. I'm not feeling well and I want to get some rest." Pinta Rein after wiping away the trace of her tears.

She did not want to cry but her eyes did not want to follow her wishes. They just kept removing as much warm liquid as Rein blinked and removed it.

The taxi driver said nothing more. Although sympathetic but he could not interfere in the personal matters of others. So he went on another trip but at the rate of the taxi he brought as slow as possible so that Rein in the back could rest.

I had expected this day to happen. You will meet a beautiful woman who is born normal like you. When that happens your love for me begins to evaporate like water, drying up without a trace as if it had never existed before.

Davin... Do I still have hope for you?. Can I take this betrayal of yours as a moment of boredom because you'll keep coming back to me, can I?. Inner Rein was still hoping.

It is possible that after many years with Davin began to feel bored and want to feel new things. Once he's tired of the new thing it's possible that Davin will come back to him.

It's probable.

...🍃🍃🍃...

Rein hasn't slept all night. He stayed up all night thinking about the difficult and beautiful times he had spent with Davin 3 this year. During that time they both made many sweet memories that were immortalized in the form of pictures or beautiful frames.

Rein's 3-year relationship also began to realize that Davin never talked about marriage with him. In addition, Davin is also embarrassed to make intimate movements in public places. Rein thinks Davin is embarrassed because of his rigid nature but turns out he was wrong.

Davin was embarrassed not because he was stiff but he was ashamed because Rein was not a normal human being. In the eyes of the public they would appear strange and shameful.

"It turns out it's morning." He saw a warm light enter his room.

"Davin's going home and he's going hungry. I have to cook her favorite food."

Rein put back the photos he had been raking all night and arranged them on top of the drawer as before. His face looked pale and exhausted from staying up all night yet he still dragged his thin body into the kitchen.

Taking some of the groceries he bought overnight to cook into a delicious dish.

An hour later Rein had already finished half the dish. He arranged it on the dining table while waiting for the other dishes to ripen.

"I'm home." Davin's heavy voice entered his hearing.

Rein wanted to come over but both of his legs seemed to be nailed on the spot. He could not move and his breathing began to be unstable.

"Oh..are you hungry?" Rein asked without raising his head.

His hands were busy preparing food for Davin.

"What is this morning you cook this much? Are there any guests coming to the house?" Davin doesn't see anything wrong with Rein.

He immediately sat on the chair but did not touch the food Rein gave him as he normally would.

"There's no show, I'm just bored." Rein is lying.

"Good, then sit down. I have something to talk to you about."

Rein's frozen. Slowly his tired face lifted up staring at the arrogant figure of Davin who was no stranger to him.

"What's that about?"
