"Who, what do you want to take a wheelchair out?" Rein asked astonishedly with a clean and refreshing face after taking a shower.

She had just come out of the bathroom and found her boyfriend wiping away a wheelchair that had long been left dusty.

Initially unneeded, Rein planned to leave some of the wheelchairs that Davin used to use in country A but Davin rejected the idea because he said he still liked it. In fact, when he got off the plane yesterday, Davin also used his other wheelchair and was pushed by Rein himself.

Rein thought Davin was still sick and not too comfortable walking far away so he didn't dare to ask. But after seeing Davin's running pace yesterday afternoon with the boys, Rein thought Davin had fully recovered. So, why did this lover take out the wheelchair again?

"People from the main house came to visit. You have to pretend that I'm still recovering and can't walk anymore, okay?"

After Davin said it, Rein immediately understood what her lover meant. So he didn't ask anymore.

"Okay, I'll change clothes first." Rein said while taking the shabby house clothes from inside his closet.

These clothes were the clothes he had brought from Dimas' apartment. Still clean and neatly maintained rather shabby because of his age is also of low quality.

After all this is not surprising as these clothes Rein buys in regular clothing stores, unlike Davin who uses branded clothes and has a private high-end designer.

Half an hour later Rein with a lethargic face pushed Davin's wheelchair into the living room. Rein's appearance was rather unkempt and lethargic due to many thoughts whereas Davin himself who was sitting on a wheelchair was not much better than Rein.

His face was still pale and somewhat grim from a year and a half ago, as if Davin was no longer the Davin known to everyone.

"Dav, my God, what happened to your leg?" Grandma exclaimed in shock at seeing Davin suddenly come out in a wheelchair.

The surprise was not made up because Grandma herself was a bit less trusting of the news that spread yesterday in the newspaper when Davin got off the plane with the help of a wheelchair.

So, to ensure his curiosity Grandma and some of his grandchildren immediately visited this afternoon to meet with Davin. The reason he wanted to visit but the fact is that he just wanted to make sure Davin's condition.

Remarkably, Revan's work was indeed too perfect. Grandma was deep in satisfaction that her facial expression could not hide.

But as fast as lightning he instantly fixed his facial expression as sad as possible so as not to arouse suspicion.

Unfortunately all the changes in Grandma's expression had already been well observed by Davin, so how could she possibly not know what this Grandmother was thinking inside her head?

Davin sighed, pretending to touch his two feet covered in a warm blanket.

"It's just a little accident, Grandma. For a while the doctor said that I can't walk anymore but can still do some therapy and exercises from the hospital to be able to walk again." Davin replies pretending to be 'soaked', the play looks very real. Especially when they see the grim and haggard face of Davin, they all immediately believe in the 'state' that Davin is trying to cover up.

Can you walk again? You dream too much. Even if you could walk again one day, all the assets in your hands have passed into the hands of my son. By the time that happens, I want to see if you can still act arrogantly again like you used to? Inner Grandma sneered in her heart.

With Davin's current state, he already had no hope in the eyes of the Demian family. The reason for that was because the Demian family could not be led by a flawed and incompetent leader. Because hey, walking for yourself alone can not let alone take the time to take care of all the needs of the Demian family?

"God, how bad are you." And how lucky I am and my son, inner Grandma is happy.

But he still continued his words.

"It must be difficult for you to pass this test. Grandma understands how you feel. Hah, if only Grandma had connections in the medical world, surely Grandma would exert all of Grandma's abilities so that you can recover and be able to walk again." Even if she had connections, Grandma would never donate her help to Davin.

Rather than helping her, Grandma instead preferred to make things worse for Davin so that she would be completely unable to make trouble for her son later when taking over the Demian family.

Davin smiled wryly, pretending to be blind to Grandma's ambitious gaze that could not be disguised properly.

Hah, greedy people can be found everywhere.

"Don't worry, Grandma. City hospital B in country A has been my primary care all this time and I have absolutely no plans to move to another hospital because I am more comfortable being treated there. The plan is that I'll return to treatment after finishing some of my business here." Davin sounded melancholy.

Meanwhile in her heart Grandma secretly laughed at Davin's confidence. If the hospital was able to heal his legs, then why wait so long to heal him?

Of course, he also thought it wasn't because the hospital couldn't afford it but because Davin's legs were already beyond help.

Unfortunately, Davin must be difficult to accept the situation now. Losing a leg is the same as a useless lousy man. Rather than trying to squander money to heal her, it was better to just let her live like this. After all, it is useless to waste money because his feet cannot be healed either.

"Well if you already have a good hospital to support you. Otherwise, Grandpa and Grandma would be very worried." He then glanced at Rein in disgust, seeing the cheap shabby clothes Rein was wearing reminding Grandma of the street people out there, very poor.

"Rein, take good care of Davin and don't let him take on strenuous activity because his condition really doesn't allow Davin to do that." Grandma's message is insincere.

However Rein is still working together, feigning deafness at the tone of Davin's step-grandmother's reluctance.

"Well, I won't bother you anymore because Davin will have to rest more in order to recover as soon as possible." Grandma said as she got up from her seat.

It's disgusting to stay for so long with the disabled and poor, huh.

"Grandma, you must be very busy." Davin said.

But the granny who was already happy was completely unaware of Davin's cold innuendo.

"Well, busy. There are so many things to do at home. Take good care of yourself here and don't mind too much. Grandma and everyone in the house always wish you both the best." Grandma is in a good mood.

He and several other members of the main house withdrew from Davin's house. Before returning home they all took the time to stop by the largest shopping center in the city.
