My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
44. Sleep Medicine

Rein can't take it anymore. He doesn't know what Davin wants from him. Before today Davin had once said that they should not be stuck in the past but why did Davin keep pressing him here?

Asking him to do this and that continuously, Rein was no different than a prisoner. Rein doesn't understand why Davin keeps putting pressure on him, leading him to wonder if the betrayal of the day wasn't enough to make Davin content to hurt him?

"Sir-s"

"Shut up, don't add any more trouble for me." Davin raised his other hand to massage his head.

He was very dizzy, wanted to sleep but he couldn't because his eyes were so hard to shut.

Rein sees Davin's condition is not okay. She bit her lips in doubt.

He relented, "Are you okay, sir?"

Davin is still Davin, "Are your eyes blind, have you seen me all right?" Said fierce.

Rein sighed stifled.

"What"

"There's no hospital or doctor, it's just a trivial matter." Cut Davin mercilessly.

Rein completely could not say anything. This is what Davin wanted then he wouldn't do those ideas.

"You..." Davin lowered both hands.

His face was pale and his eyes were red. Looks like Davin's short on time off or he's actually sleeping less.

"Yes, Sir?"

Davin shook his head.

"Nothing."

He then stood up from his seat of greatness wanting to go into the room to rest. But his steps faltered and he almost fell down if Rein did not immediately hug his arm.

"Sir, you should call the doctor." Rein's voice was trembling.

He was terrified to see Davin almost fall. If his body did not react quickly Davin's head might have hit the corner of the table earlier.

"Breast,"

Davin is much taller than Rein. Right now he could see if Rein's long eyelashes were trembling lightly as if holding in fear. Davin's left hand involuntarily raised wanted to touch her but she immediately regained consciousness from the thought, dropping her hand as if nothing had ever happened before.

"Sir?"

"Take me to the room." In the end, he could only say this.

Rein immediately brought Davin into the room. He carefully laid Davin on his bed. Rein took off Davin's shoes, put them on the floor before going to fetch water and give them to Davin.

Even when he was sick, Davin still used his sharp tone to talk to Rein.

"Are you deaf?"

Rein did not dare to answer.

"Then," Rein's two hands crimped the fabric of his uniform holding back nervously.

His heart was pounding, pumping blood at high speed throughout his body.

"Can I massage your head?"

It's purely because he wants to help, well, he's convinced that it's because of his humanity to Davin and not because of his feelings.

Davin looked at the pretty face of Rein who looked very nervous. Whatever Rein's current expression, Davin can still see his nervousness.

"Hem." Davin naturally shifted his body so that Rein could sit nearby.

Rein closed his eyes somewhat regretfully. He condemned his decision to offer Davin a favor. If this keeps up, won't Davin think a no-no about himself?

Huh, he's such a fool!

With regret coming too late, Rein was forced to sit on the side, raising both of his hands in doubt and began massaging Davin's head.

This scene is familiar to Rein, ironically.5 years ago, well the memories should not need to be remembered again because they are only strangers now.

Meanwhile Davin began to close his eyes feeling Rein's light massage on the head. He became more relaxed, slowly the drowsiness began to draw Davin's consciousness from the real world.

It didn't take long for him to finally fall asleep, entering dreamland without the need to use high doses of sleeping pills like the previous nights.

"He's finally asleep." Muttered Rein relieved.

Rein put away his hands, one by one his feet coming down to the floor wanting to get out of bed immediately. But his attention was suddenly drawn to the mini plastic bottle that was on the nightstand.

"Sleeping pills?"

Rein glanced at the pale face of Davin who had already entered into dreamland.

"Davin has trouble sleeping, but since when?" Rein wonders.

"No, this has nothing to do with me. If she's having trouble sleeping, then what's the matter with me?" Rein threw this matter all the way.

He got off Davin's bed but didn't get out immediately because he couldn't deny that he was distracted by Davin's current situation.

Davin's sick so he shouldn't be cold-hearted.

"Hem, helping others is a human deed." He justifies himself.
