For this false attention Davin might waste energy responding to how 'senaka' his venerable little uncle was. Instead of serving him talk again, Davin casually turned his gaze to the gentle face of his lover who always pleases his eyes and heart.
"I'm old now." Grandpa Demian said instantly gaining the focus of everyone in this room.
"And time is far more important to me than anything else. So, I hope you don't disappoint me and make my time wasted. Try, what you want to talk about is worth my precious time." These words of warning Grandpa Demian directed at Revan, the perpetrator who had dragged everyone gathered here.
Grandma knew Grandpa Demian's temper, so she hurriedly urged her son to talk about it straight away and not to play around too much.
"Revan, listen to what Papa you said earlier. Talk and don't waste your time." Grandma said with a certain meaning.
Revan straightened his back immediately. He looked very serious and much more mature than before. In front of many family members, especially in front of Grandpa Demian, he wanted to prove that he was much more worthy of inheriting the family than Davin, the crippled and disabled heir.
"I understand, Ma." Quick reply.
"Papa," he said to Grandpa Demian, nodding lightly and turning sweeping his gaze to look at everyone.
"And all the members of Demian's extended family, I want to tell you something"
"Before that, may I ask Grandpa or anyone who feels an accomplice in this matter." Davin's quiet voice cut through Revan's speech.
Revan looked at Davin in annoyance. He stared fiercely at Davin for not accepting Davin cut his words. Though he had prepared himself from last night and compiled the words he would convey tonight with great care.
Davin frowned, pretending to be deep in thought before continuing to speak, "There are reporters from all sorts of media outside. They must have been deliberately invited to cover this house to see that none of the security forces had evicted them. So, this invitation, can I know who sent it?"
True, the journalists' arrival was very striking out there but the security forces allowed them in to cover the video. The presence of journalists when the family is having a private meeting is honestly not justified because they will greatly interfere with the relaxing time and reunion of all family members.
So it's weird to see journalists free to cover outside news.
"That's me." Revan was bluffing his teeth angry as well as embarrassed.
He had not attacked but Davin had already revealed his mistake in front of Grandpa Demian.
"I invited them on purpose."
Davin raised one of his eyebrows with a contrived probing expression, he deeply animates his charade tonight,"Oh, did little Uncle already ask my permission earlier when he was about to invite them? In this house Little uncle did not forget not if I was the highest authority holder after Grandpa. Whatever happens in this house and whoever comes to this house must pass my permission first! Little Uncle shouldn't forget this but why still invite a lot of reporters outside? With my condition like this, is it comfortable to be used as a spectacle material for many people out there?" Cecar Davin firmly shows his authority in this house.
His words and facial expressions looked very convincing, and instantly gained everyone's trust if Davin was really angry with Revan's 'rebellious' treatment. They were all speechless, directing their gaze towards Revan with an attitude of 'let's see the show '.
They were swept away in Davin's play except for Rein who had been trying to keep his face cold and indifferent.
"Well, I really didn't do it on purpose. I was forced to invite them because it was about what I wanted to say to everyone."
