Two months later in a private hospital downtown, amidst the hustle and bustle of medical personnel and patient families passing by in the bright corridor stood a tall, well-built man with a tense expression on his face. The man stood stiffly before the door of the delivery room, isolated from the crowded world as if he was the only person who was in this place. Its existence that stood out in the midst of the hustle and bustle of various kinds of emotions people were truly unworthy of this place.
Standing like a fashionable magazine model in front of the delivery room, handsome face and proportional body shape like an out-of-place painting. His indifferent attitude towards the crowd around him coupled with his outstanding appearance, it was not uncommon to invite the curious-filled spies from the several pairs of female eyes that happened to pass through him.
They inevitably stared twice at him, wondering who the tall handsome man was.
Even some female medics were either intentional or did not exaggerate the sound of their steps as they passed by, others deliberately exaggerated their voices as they passed by the man to attract attention but the results were nil. The handsome man was still indifferent towards his surroundings, appearing isolated from the crowd.
"Sir, how's the big lady doing?"
Adit gets word today that Rein gave birth and ran straight to the hospital without waiting for an order from Davin first. His face was sweating from running a lot, although tired, there was a waiting light shining inside his eyeballs.
"You're here." Davin glanced at him.
"My wife is fine. The doctor said she and our baby were healthy so her delivery today should have been normal." Her connection could not hide her nervousness.
Doctors have stressed many times that his wife could have gone through this labor but Davin is still worried because this is the first time Rein has given birth through a normal course.
There was a fear in his heart as he thought nothing of his wife inside.
"Where are the kids?"
Adit immediately replied alacriously.
"The kids are home, sir. They were so happy to hear the news that today their sister was about to be born." Adit's story with a brilliant smile on his face.
Davin was relieved to hear it, "I hope they can obey at home."
"Sir, they wanted to come here but Anggi persuaded them to stay home. Anggi took the children to the nursery and asked them to help her to decorate the room."
About how the boys were looking forward to their little brother, Davin knew very well that. Early in Rein's pregnancy, the two children were not very enthusiastic and even impressed with the ogah-ogahan but as Rein got older, they suddenly became excited and impatient to meet their sister.
And there are times when they often act silly. Just then they spoke with Rein's big belly, 'persuading' the sister to come out and play with them both.
