My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
12. The Rein Dilemma

Rein stood silently from behind the classroom window watching his son playing with the other children. Her puffed-up, chubby little face trembled several times with each laugh. The scenery is very beautiful for a mother, especially Rein personally is a single parent Tio.

But like water being dropped on a pile of sand in the Sahara desert, it quenches the dry thirst but only for a moment because a second later all that water instantly disappears. Leaving dusty sand that is back under drought.

He was happy before the rich man's children took his friends. From behind the classroom window Rein could see the blank look on his son's face ignored by the children. He wanted to join but was not allowed because Tio did not have the nice and expensive toys they all held.

He was sad to see Tio being wronged but Rein couldn't do anything about it due to the fact that he didn't have the money to make his son equal to them.

"Sorry Mommy, baby. Sorry Mommy can't give you a decent life, Mommy feels guilty dragging you into Mommy's miserable life." Sometimes he will regret the poverty he suffered.

Regretting that he was unable to provide the happiness he deserved for his beloved son.

"Good day, Rein?" The female voice shifted her focus.

"Oh, good afternoon, principal. This..are you going to teach?" Sapa Rein turned a little awkward.

He felt ashamed to talk to this haughty woman because this woman could not possibly greet him except when it came to money. Indeed, Rein has not paid Tio's tuition for two months because his salary is used to meet daily needs, he also could not use Dimas's salary because the money was yesterday used to pay for their apartment rent. So Rein is forced to delinquent Tio's school fees until he and Dimas get their salaries this month.

"Teaching? Mommy Tio seems to like joking." She smiled gracefully and beautifully with mocking eyes.

In his heart he sneered at Rein's seemingly false and contrived innocence.

"I heard it's been two months that you haven't paid for Tio's school, is that true?"

Rein rubbed his arm in embarrassment, "Yes, Mom. I haven't paid for two months but I promise I'll pay for it this month."

"Listen Rein, if you can't afford to send Tio to school then don't push yourself. This school is not free and requires a high cost, see the teachers here. They are the best graduates who are professionals, I don't want well just because of you they become uncomfortable and complain." Obviously this is a big lie because in reality no teacher cares about the financial affairs of the guardian parents.

"I really promise I'll pay you this month soon, ma'am. So give Tio a chance to continue studying here." Rein pleaded.

The woman immediately threw away her face, she looked disgusted at the pitiful look of Rein. His brain always dictated that whatever Rein was doing was fake, fabricated and full of theatrics.

"This is what I hate about the poor. If you know you do not have the ability to blend in with the rich, then it is better to mingle with fellow poor people. This is better than bothering us." His biased speech directly hurt Rein's self-esteem.

But Rein did not say anything and lowered his head to hold back any piercing words that the woman lay down.

"Hem, I'll give you a chance just this month. If you can't keep up then next month Tio won't have to come to this school anymore." Said the woman before leaving Rein.

Rein let out a long sigh as the voice of the high heels moved away from him. He was sad but tried to control his facial expression as best he could because some of the guardian parents who were waiting in front of the class were watching him.

"What should I do if my salary isn't enough to pay Tio's school fees? I can't keep relying on Dimas' salary because he also has to support his family in the village." Panicked muttering.

"Or should I look for an extra job here?" He glanced at the soft face of his son who was very serious about listening to the teacher in front of the blackboard.

"But if I go to work then who will take care of my son because being an office girl in the office Dimas alone has taken a lot of time. Tio will definitely be lonely if I stay too long." His face was in a dilemma.

One side he wants to meet the needs of his son but on the other hand he has no one he can trust to look after Tio.

Rein's getting dizzy.
