My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend

My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
79. The Choice for a Wound

"What's..." Davin had trouble saying his words.

"What did Grandpa say? My sister is Grandpa's granddaughter too and she's only 1 month old!"

"This is your choice Davin. If you really want your sister here then disconnect that crippled human and remain my heir." Grandpa made a very difficult choice.

Davin pensive. His mouth was tightly shut silently, unable to make any decisions. His head was dizzy and his eyes became dazed. In this life he never imagined there would be a day when God gave him two very difficult choices.

Between her lover or her 1-month-old brother, Davin does not want to choose between the two of them.

He was unable to let go of one because to him Rein and his sister were the most precious treasures in this world after the departure of his two parents.

He couldn't lose either of them.

"I can't..." His whisper with both eyes began to turn red.

"You have to choose." Grandpa doesn't want to know.

But Davin really can't make a choice. He really can't.

"I can't lose either of them." Davin was very sad, his voice even sounded like begging.

"Davin, if you still don't want to then your sister tomorrow is no longer in this country." Grandpa threatened.

Davin rubbed his face rudely refusing to let go of his sister.

"Give me time to think." Davin pleads.

"One week." Grandpa is generous.

"If in one week you don't make a decision then let's just say your sister never existed in this world."

Davin closed his eyes restraining anger as well as helplessness. Dazed, he brought his steps out of the Demian mansion. The photo he had carefully picked up earlier was now in his arms.

He hugged her tightly with tears that began to flow soaked his handsome face.

"How is it possible... You gave me this choice, Lord? You've taken both my parents from my life and now, you want to separate me from my lover and sister who's only been seeing the world for a month! How could you corner me like this?" Davin's whisper was wounded.

He was lonely and had only two lights. However, God did not want to let him live greedily, God then gave him a choice, a choice where he had to release one of the lights.

It's just that losing one of the lights would make Davin hurt, and the wound would hollow out a part of his chest that had once been touched by warmth.

It will be so painful.

...🍃🍃🍃...

Since that day Davin began to like to go home late at night. He did not go intoxicated or do crazy things to vent his anger, but he locked himself in his office.

Sitting pensively gazed at the expanse of the night sky with a pile of important documents that he had some disregard.

Davin lies, he answers fine when in fact he was very, very bad these days. He misses Rein so much, wants to hug her, breathe the fragrance of roses from her body, and mix love like their good times.

But, he could not do it because Davin's heart would feel even more congested. It was reassuring, it hurt so much every time I saw Rein's patient, sincere smile, every time I saw how tender Rein treated her, every time I saw her affectionate look on Rein's pretty face, he couldn't bear the pain.

"Sir, this is your last chance to meet him." Adit stood obediently at the side, accompanying Davin's gloomy days inside the office faithfully.

"Oh," Davin rubbed his tired face.

"It's day six." He said in a frustrated tone.

"Let's take me home." Davin orders after making the hardest decision of his life.

At 12 pm he finally returned to the warmest place in his life. From the outside he could see the lights of the house were still burning brightly indicating that the lover was still waiting for him to return.

"I'm home." He said with an indifferent tone made.

The plan he wanted to give Rein a sense of distance slowly like the previous days but all the plans immediately evaporated when he saw the lover was now sleeping peacefully on the long sofa.

Davin was pungent, his two eyes flushed red creating thin ripples.

"Darling," Davin sat down on his knees on the floor, rubbing the gentle face of his lover that looked somewhat pale.

"Darling, I'm home." Whisper Davin with tightness in the chest.

"Hem," Rein's peach eyes slowly opened.

"You're home"

"Sstt. Don't go anywhere." Davin stopped him from waking up.

He then lifted Rein's body from the sofa and brought her into their room.

"Have you eaten?" Rein resuscitated his head comfortably on Davin's shoulders.

Davin smiled gently.

"I ate with Adit at the office. The food's not good, it's better your food." He told half a lie and half a truth.

Davin had no appetite to look at food let alone eat it. But what he said before was true if Rein's cooking was the best, Rein's cooking was delicious and delicious.

"Thank God, I'm glad to hear it." Rein was very sleepy.

Lately, he loves to sleep and has no appetite. Every time you look at food or enter the kitchen, there is a desire to vomit. But this was just his feeling alone because he did not really vomit.

Without Davin at home, he spends more time sleeping.
