52. Sincerity Cannot Be Paid

Rein's body was frozen completely. His two eyes reluctantly blinked and began to cause thin ripples. Memories of the painful and exhausting past rekindled her pain in those years.

Despairingly?

Yes, he was desperate in those years. Only God knows how desperate he is in this world. Betrayed despite his hard struggles, his heartfelt love only rewarded a few cheque sheets, and all the time he sacrificed in those years was nothing more than a nightmare for this man.

After all why was this man still able to stand arrogantly in front of him without any guilt in the slightest?

Even this man quizzically asked how cheap he was getting paid?

It was as if Rein had been so easy to sell himself to any man willing to pay.

Does a man have a little humanity in his heart?

"You may not know, sir, that a sincere person will not ask for any payment for a price of sincerity." Said Rein already feeling fed up.

But luckily he had finished all his work so he did not need to stay here any longer.

"Sir, I've finished everything. So can I go home now? My shift time is up." Rein reminded generously.

Davin was still silent with his eyes still focused on Rein. Being stared at like this Rein felt even more uncomfortable. He lowered his eyes not wanting to see Davin.

"You can go but don't forget tomorrow morning my room is clean and the coffee should be on the table at 9pm right."

"I understand, Sir. Excuse me."

Without waiting for Davin to say anything Rein immediately came out of his office space. When she closes Davin's office door, she accidentally meets Lisa, Davin's personal secretary.

Rein and Lisa were both surprised, it felt a bit awkward but she was still being polite to him. But unlike before, Lisa this time looked at him strangely with no intention of replying to Rein's polite demeanor.

"Why hasn't he left yet?" Lisa was impatient.

Rein completely lost his smile. He is treated rudely then he will not give him a polite attitude even though Lisa is his superior.

"If you don't get in my way then I've been away from you for a long time." Rein said with emotion.

He was already very angry about being treated lowly by Davin and now his secretary was willing to let him go.

Hah, why are these people so arrogant!

"Currently, lowly officers are arrogant." Lisa immediately kept her distance from him.

Rein rolled his eyes lazily. Without waiting for long she immediately left from before Lisa, getting into the elevator with an indifferent expression that Lisa did not like.

"When he's just a prostitute*, but his attitude is like Davin's boss's lover."

Lisa actually had no intention of eavesdropping on the two of them. He originally wanted to make sure that inside was okay, uh who would have guessed if he had accidentally had Davin and Rein's conversation.

This was just a short conversation and it honestly sounded vague. But Lisa certainly doesn't remember Davin asking Rein 'how cheap is he getting paid?'.

In essence, he had to carefully meet Rein in the future.

Meanwhile, in the elevator, Rein immediately sat on the floor as soon as the door closed. He rubbed his face - perhaps more precisely he rubbed the tears that could finally be free of restraints.

"Stupid! You fool, Rein! Why don't you throw all those files in his face just now so he knows that you're not that low! You, fool!" Rein cursed himself, condemning his stupidity that could not fight Davin.

"But.if I do so then that heartless man will trouble Dimas here, I. really cannot burden Dimas anymore!" It's been enough for 5 years that Dimas suffered from taking care of her.

For now he wants to be someone who is independent and can get through it all without having to ask Dimas for a helping hand. He's done enough to finish Dimas.

The elevator doors opened, someone came in. Rein immediately wiped his face cleaning the tears that had wet his cheeks. He had to be strong and he could definitely get through all of this because there was still Tio who loved him so much.

"It's okay, it's not a problem. I can definitely get through this." He took a deep breath to comfort himself.

"There's Tio, there's still Tio. Besides I don't need anyone."

Rein took his change of clothes first before going to look for Tio. When he returns to the office boy & girl room, he finds out that Tio is sitting in the waiting chair with some chocolates and a new toy in her hand.

Rein was astonished, so he approached his son to ask who these sweets and toys were from.

"Tio," Call Rein draws his son's attention.

"Mommy!" Tio was very happy, while hugging his candy and toys he ran over to Rein.

"Mommy, Tio's got a lot of good pelmens and toys!" Excited Tio while showing off the items in his arms to Rein.

Rein looked at the items, it was no mistake that this was a fairly expensive toy because Rein often saw it in the toy store when entering with Tio.

If he had more money, buying one or two would not be a problem but unfortunately Rein would need to save for Tio's future later.

"A lot of it, son. It's from Uncle Dimas, huh?" Rein sat crouching to release his height with Tio.

Though he knew if this was not the gift of Dimas but still asked. Who knows if Dimas suddenly had a lot of money and bought Tio these things.

Tio shook his head looking adorable. His chubby cheeks moved lightly for touch.

"This isn't Dimas' uncle, Mommy. But this is from my kind uncle."

Good-natured uncle?

"Whose kind-hearted uncle, Tio?"
