19. Not Him
Davin, the guy who has this name is not just that guy. After all this name was too monotonous and market, he could find it everywhere.
Rein shook his head expelling all his strange thoughts regarding the man. He tried to think positively that this city was not as advanced as the city where the man lived so logically the man could not have come here.
"Have you seen her lover?"
Inside the long queue in front of the cashier's desk, Rein could not resist listening to the conversations of those around him.
"I've never seen her, but my sister says she's a famous model abroad!"
Rein smiled little, the stories of rich people have always been like this. They will be in love with people who are not careless. Whether it's a great family background or a glorious career, they're always picky about finding a lover.
"I am not surprised because Mr. Davin himself comes from a distinguished family and handsome face. Who would refuse to stand with Mr. Davin?"
The voices were filled with words of admiration but Rein knew there was a jealous tone in them. As they talked about earlier, men who come from well-respected families and look handsome are indeed difficult to resist. But this is different when it comes to the heart because Rein always has the impression that rich and handsome men tend to play the hearts of others.
"I heard Mr. Davin and the model have been in a relationship for 5 years! Their relationship is far from bad rumors, even I heard that this year they will have a wedding in the Capital. Woah.I wish I could get an invitation at their wedding!"
Rein only smiled slightly hearing it. In his heart he laughed at these ridiculous people who had never seen what the faces of the people they were talking about looked like.
Because hey, rich people can't be trusted.
"This is your order, all Rp 113,000." The courteous voice of the cashier's maid drew Rein from her mind.
He took his order while giving the cashier's maid his payment.
"Thank you." He then went out of the cafe.
His move was not light because he had to send this coffee order to the female employee. He almost tripped because he did not see the road in front of him.
From afar he saw the company door was a bit crowded. Rein hesitated to walk through there but there was nothing faster than the main door.
"Wait a minute" A security guard stopped Rein's move.
"You can't get through the front door because Mr. Davin is conducting an impromptu inspection of all the employees downstairs."
"Oh, yes, sir. I'll pass from the back door." Said polite.
He walked lightly away from the front door. His eyes could not escape the crowd inside. From the outside he saw panicked faces lined up in rows by security officers under the orders of the company's new CEO.
Rein had no idea what inspection the new Boss was doing and what his purpose was because he did not understand the affairs of the office. But he knows that this definitely bodes well for the company.
Just look inside, the Gold Masters who usually relax inside the office are now not spared from the inspection of the new Boss.
"I'm sure after this they can't wiggle anymore." His ejek was happy.
"We've gathered them, sir. Now you can meet them." A heavy voice respectfully caught Rein's attention.
He turned his head sideways to see several men in black suits surrounding a tall man who was strangely somewhat familiar to Rein.
Although he could not see his face clearly because it was blocked by the company pole but he could still see that straight back.
Rein shrugged his shoulders indifferently, turning his face away from the crowd in front of the company entrance.
"What am I thinking? How could it be him." Rein once again threw away his thoughts.
"Ck.ck, it's been 5 years Rein! Forget about him and enjoy your life with Tio!"
He then did not hold back his steps anymore and immediately went to the back door of the company. He felt that today was a bit ridiculous as he often thought about that trashy man. It had been 5 years, he should have forgotten all about that man but foolishly, he could not forget it.
Hah, just blame her heart that was too sincere back then.
