My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend

My Boss, My (Ex) Boyfriend
22. Rein, Please Stop

He stroked his soft cheeks and the now peaceful chubby Tio was lulled in a dreamland. In his heart he sincerely hoped that the dream world Tio entered was a beautiful dream world and not a nightmare world like in the real world.

"Mommy doesn't like you being too smart, son."

Before Tio fell asleep her sweet lips chattered asking a few things about the man, Her father. Tio asks what his father likes and hates, what food his father likes, or if his father also likes chicken porridge like him.

She smiled a little. His own silent gaze could not hide the grief that his heart was feeling at this moment. She was honestly powerless to hold back tears when she saw Tio's happy face when talking about the man. If he could just want to say that that man, this man that Tio desperately longed for was actually already living happily with the woman he loved.

They might already have one or two children, and there might be no place for Tio to stand in his heart.

Tio, the child born from his womb, is not sure the man will accept the existence of Tio. Never mind accepting, trusting his existence is absolutely impossible for the man.

"Mommy's sorry for lying to you, son. Mommy really didn't mean to hurt you. All this Mommy did because she had no other way. You miss Dad, you want to be recognized just like your friends because that's why Mommy creates a lie. Though.." His thin hands are rough and not as soft as before now switch to rubbing the red cheeks Tio who is not too red anymore.

Her heart was in pain to see Tio being treated this way by the other children. Tionya, the intelligent son he protected and gave birth to with great difficulty was wronged by the rich.

"Davin never knew you were born even in this world. He doesn't know about you, son, and probably won't care if he finds out because he already has his own happiness. Forgive Mommy, baby, this reality is cruel we really can't do anything. If God sent you from the womb of the perfect woman, you would surely find happiness."

Again, this is all his fault.

The fault is due to defects and the fault is due to poor. If he is perfect then Davin will never leave him and if he is rich then Tio will never be humbled like this.

Right, this whole thing is his fault.

"Mommy-gates.."

"Yes, honey?"

He hurriedly wiped away his tears afraid that Tio would see him cry. But when he finished cleaning and set the expression on his face, Rein suddenly felt ridiculous when he saw Tio's still peaceful slumbering face.

"You there dreamin, Mommy, yeah?"

It seems Tio is dreaming.

"Don't dream, Mommy, baby. Because Mommy is a nightmare for you in the real world and in the dream world. But dream of a better life, such as being trapped in a candy factory.believe the same, Mommy, it must be very sweet."

He spoke as if Tio could hear him.

Rein smiled slightly. After making sure Tio was completely asleep, he then walked out of the room. Rein stared at the living room that looked like a ship had broken up because of Tio a few hours ago. He was not angry, instead felt funny and relieved because his son could still laugh.

Rein then cleaned the messy living room because of Tio while waiting for Dimas to come home. He collected Tio's toys on the floor and swept the living room to make it cleaner. After that he washed the dishes in the kitchen before sending all of Tio's dirty clothes into the washing machine.

"At least those golden lords won't be able to relax anymore in the future."

He picked up Tio's school bag and took her sitting on the floor. Rein wants to see Tio progress during school because many teachers say that Tio is very smart in children his age.

"Eh?"

In Tio's bag is a robot-robottle toy Dimas gave me this birthday. The robots were supposed to be intact and new because they were just given away but what Rein sees now is exactly the opposite.

The robots are broken, cut into pieces. Rein tried to put it together but couldn't because these robots were already completely damaged.

"Tio's toys broke again, huh?"

When he entered the apartment he found no one outside, not even his greetings. He thought Rein and Tio were asleep but it turned out that Rein was daydreaming in the living room with Tio's broken robots in his hands.

Yes, Tio's toys are often broken and Dimas thought it was natural because Tio was still a child. He was still not good at storing his things.

"Dim, hiks.." Rein raised his head to look at Dimas.

Dimas did not expect Rein's silence was not dreamy but it was because he was crying. He became panicked seeing Rein's wet face and immediately approached her.

"Lo why cry, Rein?"

Rein raised his hand to show Tio's badly damaged robot-robottle toy.

"Tio's toys are broken again hyks.."

Dimas heaved a sigh of relief, in fact this was no big deal.

"Don't cry, dong. This is just a simple and inexpensive toy. Tomorrow after work I stop by the toy store to buy a new one for Tio."

But Rein was not at all relieved. Not that she stopped crying but she was getting sobbing sad.

"Udah Rein, I told you I'd buy Tio a new toy." Dimas tried to persuade.

"No, no, Dimas. My son was bullied at school, my son had no friends at school, my son was humiliated for not having a father and was poor. I'm tired, Dim! I'm hurt to see my son this way but I can't do anything because what they all say is true. I was poor so I couldn't do anything when the rich kids dropped my son and Tio didn't have a father like the other kids. I. It's my fault for being born disabled, Dim. Had I not been disabled Davin would not have chosen another girl and had Davin not left me, Tio would have had a father and lived well. It's my fault for being born disabled, Dimas! I'm disabled!"

Rein was drowning in his pain. He was old enough to hold everything back again. Recalling the red bruises on Tio's chubby cheeks made Rein instantly realize that he was really very low. He had no advantages whatsoever for Tio, for his precious son.

"Rein, please stop."
