"Are you tired, baby?" His whispers were soft as he laid Rein on their bed.
Rein didn't give any more responses. She had completely fallen into her sleep and had unconsciously ignored the lover.
"Rein," Davin lightly kissed Rein's pale-looking red lips.
"What should I do..." He was very frustrated and desperate.
"I don't want to lose you, baby. I don't want to let go of you. But, what about my sister? She was the only treasure that Papa and Mama left me. Besides she's still a 1-month-old baby, I can't let her be in Grandpa's hands." Slowly the clear liquid came out from the corner of his eye.
She's crying, she's crying,
For the umpteenth time some time. Losing both his parents and now having to lose Rein, Davin's world seems to be losing light.
"I'm sorry dear," he pleaded with a voice of regret.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry.this is the last one, please forgive me." Begging him repeatedly but Rein still did not wake up also gave an answer.
"If I were strong enough then we wouldn't end up like this, if I were strong enough, baby. Believe me that I love you so much. In this heart only you have the right to occupy it whether it is then, now, or in the future, I can guarantee it. Trust me, baby, I love you so much. I. I am indeed a greedy brengs*k man who does not want to lose you, therefore.I will fight for you back when the time is right. When I've been able to stand on my own, you're the first person I'm going to take back into my world, Rein, I love you. I love you so much."
Gently peeked at the old Rein's forehead. Davin then rubbed Rein's face full of nostalgia before getting out of bed. He enveloped Rein with caution and a feeling of dismay.
"Goodbye, my love." His whisper forced himself to step away without looking back.
He left the house as if he had never returned before. Without wasting much time he got directly into the car, leaning his head on the back of the chair to calm his heart and mind.
Adit didn't speak as soon as Davin got out of the house. He understood very well how Davin was feeling right now.
Then night turned into day and Davin began to revive his indifferent mode which was full of arrogance. He was like someone who knew no gentleness, following everything Grandfather said obediently. Making Grandpa satisfied with the rapid change that Davin showed.
Then that night happened. The night that Rein saw her making out with a beautiful model, the fiance that Grandpa had arranged for her from a distinguished family.
"What's this?" Davin stared at the long flat object on the table.
Grandpa asked one to answer, "This is a recording device, brother." Her cousin said sour.
"Cannon?" Davin clearly did not understand.
"Right, everything Big Brother talked about today could Grandpa and we listen here." His cousin made it clear again.
Stunned, Davin then rubbed his face withstanding the tightness as soon as he grasped the meaning behind this recorder. Cruel, even on the last day he met Rein alone he still had to be enslaved by them. For a power... Davin never wanted it, so why did that power choose him among all his cousins?
Davin hates it so much!
"Davin," Call Grandfather who is still at home sitting in his great chair.
Davin just stared at him without any sense of life. His body was already numbly made by them and suddenly...he suddenly longed for what death felt like?
"Dump him." His orders are heartless.
"Why? Is separating the two of us not enough? Is seeing me betray in front of his eyes not enough? Is that not enough for him?" Davin did not understand.
Injury, he and Rein have been on the verge of destruction. In just one week...in just one week he had made a great distance for Rein, he had injured Rein many times but why?
Why were they still not satisfied making him like a heartless human being?
"If it's someone else, then everything you do during this one week is enough but unfortunately you are Davin Demian. I know very well what kind of person you are. So, to make me trust all your resolve, I want you to throw it away. Throw him away so he'll never have a face approaching you, do you understand what I mean?" Said Grandpa coldly not wanting to negotiate.
Davin, he knew his precious granddaughter loved the disabled woman so much and he also knew that his heart would not come out with cruel words to ask for a farewell. Grandfather had no way but to tie him up like this, closing any chances to prevent them from getting back together.
"Do Davin, isn't your sister more important than anything?"
