My Love Journey's

My Love Journey's
Another break down

...Author's POV....

The entire expression of Bianka changed instantly. He looked very frightened, his eyes widened and filled with tears. Surprise in nature does not need to be explained in words. The word 'German' kept buzzing in his mind. She felt Franda's fingers on her cheeks while the woman cupped her face.

"That doesn't mean the end of everything, Bianka. I know you love Paul very much. Fight to get it again. Don't give up."

"I... Me," The poor woman was at a loss for words. At this moment, is there really anything that can be fought for? He's not sure.

"All right, I'll..."

That voice! Bianka's eyes grew even more round as she heard it. Paul's! He slowly turned around and saw the lover he loved so much, standing beside his sister-in-law, looking at him with the same surprised look. However, it quickly changed into disgust.

"Why didn't I tell you he was here?"

Bianka felt her heart crumble even more than before. The usually warm, calm, and sweet man was now in a space of wrath and hatred. "Paul." Bianka whispers to herself, but Paul hears her.

"Don't say anything!" The man snorted violently while staring at Bianka at a glance before looking back at Sean. "I don't think we can talk about it now. Calling later?"

"Hey, stay a little while longer," Sean tried to persuade, but Paul shook his head quickly.

"I can't stay close to him for long. If he's here, then I have to go. Good night, man."

Bianka stood up, wanting to run after Paul and pleaded. Begging for an apology. I asked Paul to accept it. Just ask for one more chance. But his body froze, he never felt so desperate. Remembering the look in Paul's eyes... His stomach felt wrapped around, and he could feel cramping at the bottom of his stomach. Bianka was terrified.

"I have to go too. Thank you, Brother."

"Vinka..."

"I'm fine." he muttered weakly, barely whispering while bracing himself. "I'll call a cab."

"No. I'm the one who drove you home. At least I can rest easy after making sure you get home safely."

"Sissy, I'm not sure I left you here alone."

Bianka threw a sad smile at her sister. They're at his house and Franda doesn't want to go home. Bianka did not have the strength to drive him away. However, at that moment he did not want anyone to accompany him.

"I'm fine, Panda. I'm just tired, you don't have to worry." He tried to convince her.

"Come, Sissy. I don't think you'd better be alone right now. I don't like this. You're not in good shape to take care of yourself. Is there someone..."

"Panda, stop. I'm fine, okay. I just need enough rest and everything's gonna be fine."

"All right, you can sleep. I'm gonna stay here and ask mommy to come so there's something you can eat when you wake up. After all, this house needs a human touch." Franda said it shamelessly, making Bianka smile thinly. His brother this one is very bad in kitchen affairs, and does not hesitate to reveal anything.

"There really is no need..."

"Stop arguing with me or I'll stuff your mouth with a pillow" Franda said in an undeniable tone, with threatening eyes as if she was really going to do it.

Bianka looks exhausted. Franda noticed the dark circles under her eyes, then her teary eyes, and her two trembling hands... Bianka seemed to endure the pain. Franda kept wondering when exactly the woman was sleeping well.

The moment of an accidental meeting with Paul before was clearly not favorable for Bianka. At that moment, he looked as if he was standing on the verge of collapse. Franda would not be able to forgive herself if something bad happened.

He looked at his sister who seemed to be trying to find an excuse. But in the end he breathed a losing breath and stood up. "I think you're right. Thank you, Brother. I'll be in the room if you need anything."

"Excuse me, I'm looking for room 214 A."

"Paul?" Paul turns around and finds Marissa leaning against the wall.

She looks... scared?! Paul tried to observe his figure to look for something wrong, such as an injury or something. But he didn't find anything. Then he heaved a sigh of relief realizing Marissa was fine.

Marissa called Paul just as the man had just arrived at her apartment, crying and asking Paul to meet her at the hospital. A wide variety of scenarios sprung up in his mind, all of which were frightening, as Paul really had concern for the old woman. The closeness that intertwined between them made Paul feel as if his mother had always been by his side.

So, what was he doing in the hospital?

"Marissa, you surprised me half to death. What was? What are you doing here?" paul asked, still watching Marissa.

"It's Bianka." she replied.

Paul rolled his eyes when he heard the name of his beloved called. Definitely not someone he wanted to see at that moment. "Really, Marissa?" He started, next to his eyebrows raised high. "I don't want to hear anything about that selfish woman. And I don't appreciate you tricking me into talking to him." Whisper Paul violently, trying not to attract attention.

"She's fainted and hasn't been conscious until now" said Franda, who suddenly appeared from behind Paul with a pale face.

Paul felt his heart stop beating for a moment. He knew the Bianka family couldn't possibly lie to something as serious as that. No matter how much anger he felt, he would never expect anything bad to happen to Bianka.

"What's going on? Where's she?" paul asked, his voice hoarse and heavy.

"They took him to the radiology department. Come on, follow me. I'll explain it while we're waiting in the room." said Franda, taking her mother's elbow and stepping straight away.

"Okay."

The journey to the treatment room felt so long while Paul was second-guessing what had happened to his lover. He did not think their separation affected Bianka so much. After seeing him at Sean's house earlier, Paul actually did not have the heart to turn around, but the anger in his chest was still swollen.

He realized Bianka's appalling condition, making his heart twisted. However, it is nothing compared to the speech of the doctor who handled Bianka. His world instantly turned upside down in a very horrible way.

Miscarriage!

The word kept ringing in his mind. The doctor had left the treatment room a few minutes ago, leaving them with Bianka who was still unconscious. Doctor Bianka's diagnosis included miscarriage, fatigue, dehydration, low blood pressure, and mild concussion. Radiological examination results have confirmed his concussion. Luckily, there were no serious injuries. Most likely Bianka was allowed to go home in a day or two. At least that's what the doctor said.

Paul could not take his eyes off the fragile body of his lover lying helplessly. Dark circles around his eyes, prominent cheekbones, and his skin was pale. This was not the sighting of the woman that made him go crazy.

"He looks very weak." Despair rang out at his soft voice, his heart throbbing painfully.

Paul felt a squeeze of Marissa on his shoulder. "He's gonna be okay, Paul. Bianka's a tough woman."

"really?" paul asked, shaking his head, his eyes filled with water ready to fall.

"Paul's..."

"I love her, Marissa. No matter how big the mistake, I still don't..." He exploded in tears, unable to continue with words. Gently Marissa hugged his shoulder.

"He'll be fine." he repeated. "Everything will be okay."

"It's my fault. It's all my fault."
