"Bianka, do you want to meet my friends?"
Anne and I had just come out of the kitchen, we were laughing like two happy teenagers, and I hurriedly stopped the laughter when Paul arrived in front of us.
"What time is it?" I asked, looking for a wall clock.
"Hour nine. They're in a bar, not far from here." said Paul.
"Oh, well, I guess..."
"They want to see you. We've been friends since Kindergarten." said Paul. "And I really want you to know them." He smiled, trying to persuade me.
"All right, I'm coming." I returned Paul's smile, then let go of my grip on his mother's yawning arm and now hugged me.
"Good! I'll let them know." his voice disappeared as he moved away while playing the phone.
I enjoyed being in Anne's warm, soothing embrace, momentarily imagining what if I felt that kind of hug from it every day. Must be so happy it feels. When I remember my mother, there are hardly any good memories I have with her. Ever since I was a child, my father was always in the role of doing his duties as a parent, my mother never did anything but get drunk and angry, it was unclear why, until she decided to leave us.
I'm grateful Anne was able to accept me as part of her son's life, and hopefully someday truly be part of his family as well.
"You're an amazing girl, Bianka." she muttered softly, her voice full of emotion. We pulled away, then I frowned as soon as I found tears dripping down her cheeks. But still, he smiled. "Don't worry, it's happy tears" he said, driving away the awkwardness with a small laugh. "I'm so grateful that Paul met you."
"Thank you, Anne. You're very kind... Now I think I want to cry too."
He laughed and hugged me again.

After changing clothes and getting ready, I made sure Frosty had everything he needed. Then I decided to wait in the car while Paul asked for a minute to have a private chat with his mother.
"How long have we been there?" ask me while polishing my lips with lipstick when Paul gets in the car and wears a seatbelt.
He said he had traveled to the bar to meet his friends just a few minutes because the distance was not too far.
"As long as you want. We chat for a while over drinks, then go home if you're bored." he said. "At the same time, there's something else we need to talk about."
"What else is there to talk about?" many nervous.
Paul chuckled, looking at me. "Not a bad thing, love. I want to talk about our future."
I cringed confused at him. "Don't tell me you want to leave me again."
"No. Absolutely not." he muttered, looking very confident while putting his hand on my thigh. "I want us to talk about your move, as well as some other things that I think are necessary. Really, I want to spend more time with you."
My mouth smiled brightly while leaning against the chair. "Taking time, can you explain what that means?" ask me in a seductive tone.
Paul casually put his shoulders. "You and me. On the bed." he said. "Watching you without your clothes on and saying that you love me, then sighing..."
"Paul!" With bulging eyes, I hit her arm, then laughed while my heart suddenly worked harder. "Your brain, yeah, really can't be far from there."
"It's not my fault, I can't stop thinking about you, Rapunzel. You're too sexy." she muttered with an expression without feeling the slightest sin.
I let it go, turning my eyes to the road we were walking on. Quite surprising to me because it seems that places in this small place there are still many people who roam around at curfew. Some drunk men were seen stopping, almost hurting themselves while trying to take a photo of Paul's car. I'm grateful the windshields are thick enough, so they won't see us.
"We've arrived." Paul's voice caught my eye and realized our car had stopped in front of a small bar. "Are you ready, love?" He turned off the car and opened the seat belt.
I smile. "Yep. Let's go!"

Paul's friends are so much fun. I got acquainted with Harry, who works at the county library. Johnny is a struggling actor in his first film debut. Debby is a part-time photographer.
The introductions are quite short and not too complicated. I'm happy because they're all so friendly and seem to be able to accept me into their circle of friends. I feel new to know the other side of Paul today, because with his indifferent attitude and as if he does not care for others, in fact it is quite surprising that he is still in a good relationship with his childhood friend. I'm sure Harry, Johnny, and Debby must be the people he's always been looking for when he wants to escape his drama-filled life.
They were happy to tell me some funny things they did as teenagers. As long as Harry told me, I couldn't help but glance at Paul many times. My heart was filled with happiness when I saw him so calm.
"Remember when you..." Johnny, one of the funniest of them, is setting off a character assassination and trying to throw something embarrassing, but Paul quickly cuts off his words.
"That's enough!" he said while laughing. "My mom has told me almost all my childhood disgrace she knew about Bianka. So, don't add any more."
I laughed, leaning on his arm. "I really enjoyed it Paul. I mean, who would've thought of licking the neck..."
"Oh my God, Bianka... Stop that!" He groaned, provoking laughter on our table. I hugged his arm.
"Why does everyone want to put me to shame today?" paul said shaking his head.
"Ah, that's bullshit! Just tell me you enjoyed it too." Debby said, then looked at me. "How did you feel when you met her family?"
"Uhm, I think it's pretty good. I mean, Anne's a friendly woman, and so are Thomas and Ellie. We passed it well."
"Oh, my gosh, I almost forgot Ellie, how old is she now?" ask Debby, sip the drink.
"Four years. He's obsessed with Bianka..." Suddenly Paul turned his head towards me, almost crashing his face into mine. "Thomas said Ellie wanted to sleep with you."
One little laugh escaped from the sidelines of my lips. "That's so cute."
"I agree. Ellie's a different kid. I remember when we visited, he and Tomas were there, and he spent two hours telling me all about the car I didn't know at all." harry said with a look of admiration. "How could such a small child possibly master everything about cars?"
Until the time of showing the midnight figure passed a little, Paul and I decided to go home. Before actually getting out of the bar, some people managed to recognize him and immediately approached us for a photo.
"You know, that was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed my time with them." I murmured earnestly as Paul started driving the car.
He smiled and agreed. "Do you know what makes me happier?"
"What's that?" I reached out to grab her hand.
"You can get the hearts of my family and friends" he said with focused eyes watching the streets. "After all, there's no way they don't like you. Not many people have personalities like you, Bianka. I can't imagine what if I hadn't met you in the hospital that day."
"Paul.." His words touched me. I turned my head to face him. "I don't know how to respond, it's too sweet..."
The amount of alcohol that got into my blood was not enough to make me feel as warm as the words of praise he was saying. I'm really happy, Paul and everything that's on him makes me willing to fall down to accept all that.
Paul chuckled while squeezing my hand. "I'm sorry for my mistake, Bianka. Really, I'm afraid you're leaving me. I've never felt anything this strong on anyone else."
"Stop, you're gonna make me cry." I sobbed, feeling such sincere adoration from him.
He looked at me while laughing. "Okay, okay, relax. You're so sensitive today..."
I shrugged my shoulders and smiled. "I never expected anything other than to stay by your side, but then you took me to your parents' house and also met your close friends. It means a lot to me, Paul..."
"I'm happy to do it, love." Paul replied. "By the way, I have a surprise for you. You'll see it at home."
"Surprised? What surprise?" Alisku. "Paul, please don't tell me it's ma's stuff..."
"Sshh, you'll screw up my plan if you guess." He grinned along with a speck of haughty look I could catch. "Five more minutes we get home, now I want you to tell me your secret that no one knows."
I gawked for a while, then came forward and whispered something in his ear. The next second, I saw Paul's expression change in shock. "Bianka, you really are... I didn't think you'd..."
I quickly closed his mouth with one hand. "Yup. Why are you surprised?"
"I just don't think you're doing that." she quipped, shaking in disbelief.
When Paul stopped the car in front of the house, we hurried down and stepped inside the house. "You know, I often regret it. But, now I think it's funny." I said with a shy smile. "Come to..."
Paul couldn't think clearly when we went into the house. I grabbed her hand and was about to pull her up the stairs, but she suddenly cupped my face and pressed her lips against mine.
As if my strength just disappeared, I retaliated against her lips even harder. Next to my hand held the high heels, while my other hand held on to her neck. Then before I could get myself in touch, Paul pushed me against the wall. In an instant our house kiss became hotter and more intimate, which I consider as an expression of how happy our hearts are today.
"You are really exciting." he muttered on my lips, his deep voice making me want something more. "I can't think straight every time you laugh or when your eyes do that..."
I let out a voiceless laugh, my heartbeat beating louder in response to his teasing. The gaze of his eyes deep and combined with his hoarse voice, really managed to send a subtle pulsation between my thighs. With wild hand movements, Paul pulled my hips up to his stomach.
"What do my eyes do, Paul?" whispered asked. One passionate breath escaped from my mouth as Paul spread his lips along the line of my face and then down to my neck. I nodded while closing my eyes.
"Your eyes are flirtatious, love. You must not have realized that, right?" he chuckles, still kissing my neck. "You excite me every time I look into your eyes..."
I felt her hand slip behind the blouse I was wearing, then slowly rise up to touch my chest while her lips came back against mine. "You're fvcking irresistible, Bianka... (You really make me feel crazy, Bianka)"
"Why are you fvcking touching her titty? (why are you holding his chest?" one tiny, soft voice instantly made us freeze.
In the dimness of the room whose lights had been extinguished, we turned our heads and found Ellie standing on the steps holding a teddy bear, about to descend from the top floor.
Paul cleared his throat, then quietly withdrew his hand from me. After kissing me a glance, he turned around and stepped over to his nephew. But instead of welcoming Paul, Ellie came down to me. "Did he hurt you, Bianka?"
I was still leaning against the wall, trying to calm myself down. Shame I can't just ignore because, God, we just got caught by a little kid! Feeling a little calmer, I answered Ellie. "No. Not at all." I ducked towards him. "Where do you know such bad words, Ellie?" I asked slowly, not wanting to wake the other residents of the house.
"Paul just said it." Ellie turned her head around Paul who was now approaching us.
I frowned at him and he shrugged his shoulders. "You shouldn't be cursing, it's not good..." I let out a breath.
"Why? He did it too, huh." Ellie frowned glancing at Paul.
"He's always unlucky every time he swears, right?" I rounded my eyes when I saw Paul, hinting for him to explain something that made sense.
"Yes, yeah. Bianka's right..." Paul looked down for a moment, looking like he was thinking about something, then he looked at Ellie. "Sniffing is not a good thing at all. You know, the Tooth fairy wouldn't give me money if I said harsh words."
Ellie's face suddenly changed in fear of responding to Paul's words, now I'm sure she won't curse until a few years later.
"Why are you still up, sweetie? It's past midnight." I drew his attention back, changed the subject.
"I had a nightmare, and wanted to find you." he said slowly, making my heart touched. "But you're not in the room, so I'm down for milk."
I looked at Paul who was putting his fingers in his hair. "El, I'll make your milk, then drive you back to the room, okay? Bianka's gonna sleep with me tonight."
Ellie's forehead creased, and I felt guilty for not being able to accompany her to sleep even though I was happy to think about the idea, but it didn't seem to be for Paul.
"I promise I'll accompany you to bed next time, how?" niku mean.
Ellie smiled and nodded her head. "Okay."
Then he started walking towards the kitchen. Before following Ellie, Paul paused for a moment in front of me. "We will continue in the room." he whispered while teasing my ears with his tongue.
I'm sighing. "Okay."
