My Love Journey's

My Love Journey's
A Happy Day

Two years later...

I took a deep breath and tidied my hair, having just finished using the testpack. I stood in front of the mirror in my room and Paul, carefully watching every corner of my curves. Wearing a red evening gown a gift from Paul when I visited him in Russia two years ago, I'm now ready to meet him for dinner.

Oh, this afternoon, I came home early because I had severe nausea and decided to stop at the pharmacy to buy a testpack. Now that I realize my chest looks a little bigger and tighter, my ankles have also swelled a little in the last few weeks. I doubt Paul saw the change that happened to my body.

Our wedding will take place next week. Finally, I can feel relieved after months of stress managing everything. And because of the busy taking care of it as well I so forgot my KB injection schedule, in addition Paul more frustrating because he wanted to make a festive wedding for me. I had already arranged a list of vendors for our wedding and to be honest all I wanted was a simple wedding to save on expenses, and I managed to persuade her after several times we had heated arguments.

I observed my cleavage that looked bigger, but I was grateful that my ankle was covered by a dress. Just when I was thinking about changing the dress, Paul sent me a message.

From: Paul: I'm at the restaurant, love. Today's meeting finished sooner. Have you walked? x

To: Paul: Okay, I'm leaving now x

I don't know why, but the feeling of anxiety is running over me right now. Not to mention I was confused on how to convey this to Paul. Well, my pregnancy hasn't been seen yet, and I hope she doesn't notice the small changes in my body.

This pregnancy was not planned at all. And what's more worrying is that Paul has already agreed with my idea of adopting a child, he says he doesn't want to force me to do something I don't want to do. I appreciate that.

"Miaow," I lowered my gaze glancing at Frosty slowly walking towards me. My lips curled up and lifted it into my chest.

"Hey, Sweetie.." I muttered softly, letting him curl up for a moment in my chest. I spread my hand rubbing her fine fur while stepping down. "Mommy's going to have a baby, (Mommy will have a child)" I told her, somewhat surprised by my own words.

Frosty responded in a soft voice, making me feel as if he understood what I meant. Oh, I'm really crazy! I took Frosty down after kissing his head.

Then I saw Alfred standing next to the car whose door was open in front of our house, ready to drive me to the restaurant. We talked all the way. Anxiety and joy mixed in my head.

Paul and I had known each other for three years, but the effects of his presence near me never changed one bit. His attraction was still strong and grew stronger in every second I went with him, and the way he treated me made me admire and respect him even more.

Arriving in front of the restaurant, I immediately sneaked in while avoiding some of the reporters that I believed were already waiting for me. A restaurant staff led me inside until I arrived at the corner of a rather separate room where Paul was sitting staring at his cell phone screen.

"Paul," call me shy. Trouble holding a smile as she looked at me and stood up.

Paul whistled a little while he walked over to me. "Who are you, Miss?" tanyanya, grabbed my hip and then moved her face to kiss me. "It's so pretty, love..."

I gently touched her jaw and kissed her back. "thank you. You're also handsome as always."

Paul was wearing one of his collection's fancy black suits, blending in a plain white shirt. Both of them wrapped around her body perfectly, making her look even more awesome. I glanced around the completely empty room, Paul really wanted us to have some privacy to chat and eat quietly. Yes, to this day I still can't adapt to his fame.

"How was your day, love?" he muttered softly while his lips went down the niche of my neck, continuing to rise until it stopped just below my neck. He knew my knee would melt every time he teased the area.

"Well," I said gently, my smile slowly fading. "You?"

"It's exhausting not to stop thinking you'll soon be my wife" I could hear the smile in her voice. "Geez, I can't believe this is really happening, love."

I raised both hands and hugged his neck tightly, inwardly giving thanks many times because God had kindly sent a man as good as Paul. I myself still can't believe we finally arrived at this point. Three long years, full of tears, full of drama, but that also brought us to stand in this place.

Paul chuckled with laughter, but still returned my embrace. "Are you okay, love?" tanyanya, I nodded. A speck of tears flowed down my cheek, which I then hurriedly brushed off. "You sure? Is something bothering you?" He pulled himself out and looked at me.

"No. Nothing." I said trying to convince him while shaking his head.

Paul relented. Without asking anything more, in a graceful and orderly motion she pulled the chair for me, then walked to her chair after I sat down.

"Hm, this is so romantic." I said with a smile as soon as we ordered the food, propping up my chin with the back of my hand while my elbow hitched a ride on the table.

"really?" He leaned back, looking at me with a look as if he admired me so much. "I want to make sure you don't have any doubts about our wedding plans..."

"Huh? No, kok. How're you? Do you have any doubts?"

"Not the least. I'm just impatient." Smile expands. "I wish you'd slept in our house this week."

I shrugged my shoulders. "It would be more thrilling if we parted temporarily and met on the wedding day."

Paul raised his eyebrows high. "Oh, huh? Or is it because Valerie's already preparing the stripper for your bachelorette party?"

"What?" My laughter exploded while Paul put his shoulder loose. "Where did you hear about that? Did Carl tell you, or...?" I shook my head in amusement and disbelief. For a moment my worries about pregnancy evaporated and I was completely immersed in the chatter.

"Geez, Bianka! I was just guessing, and you just confirmed it. Thank you." Thank you."

My mouth was tightly clenched before returning to voice. "Oh... Well, I don't think it's gonna hurt to enjoy last night staring at another guy before you lock me up old to clean your diapers, hm?" my snoring teases, which makes Paul laugh. "Ah, and we did it at Stacey's house. So, you don't have to be afraid of losing your bride."

"Oh my God..." He clamped the base of his nose while shaking his head.

I laughed, reached out and grabbed Paul's hand to grab his attention. "What about you? Didn't your crazy friends plan anything?" manya curious.

"Carl said Ronaldo and Eden planned something like that, but he banned them knowing I wouldn't like such weird activities."

"The Son of God. I'm so sad now..."

"No, don't." Paul chuckled as he squeezed my hand. "I'm giving you a chance to pamper your eyes for the night, because after that you'll be stuck with mine forever."

My laughter re-echoed. "Sounds like a good deal."

Paul glanced at me with a strange look when our drinks arrived. "It's the first time you haven't ordered wine when we're having dinner outside" she said, then took a sip of her wine.

I lowered my gaze towards the glass of water I ordered, and an awkward laugh came out of my mouth. "I think so..."

"You're not like you used to be."

I looked back at him, his eyes darker than before, a single proud glint emanated there. Then she went back to looking normal, so I doubt she knew about my pregnancy.

I'm throats. "Well, it's our last night together before the wedding, so..."

"Absolutely. At your house or at your house?"

***

"He's so adorable! You have to meet him." I'm happy to say to Paul who listens carefully to me while we eat.

"How old is he?" ask Paul.

"Five months," I swallowed food. "Stacey and Elise are very happy right now."

My two close friends who started a relationship two years ago agreed to adopt a baby boy named Jack. When I told Paul this, the desire to tell him about my pregnancy grew even greater. I observed every change in his expression, hoping to catch a signal if he noticed something strange in my body.

"It looks like they will be busy from now on. Well, this kid is a baby, dealing with diapers and all sorts of things will be very time-consuming." he said, and instantly my smile disappeared.

"No," I shook my head. "I mean, of course it happens, but it doesn't matter... The point is they've got an adorable baby that's gonna enliven their house."

"Yes, yes," he said, looking not interested at all, then continued to eat his food. "I'll visit them later."

I paused for a moment, gulping bitter saliva while my tears began to pool. I have to tell him right now.

"Paul's..."

He looked at me, his eyebrows furrowed and he put down his tableware. "Love? Why are you crying?"

"I'm pregnant."

Paul froze with wide eyes. Fear spread all over my body when she said nothing. "I'm sorry." I whispered, then moved the napkin from my lap onto the table.

With a broken feeling I threw away the view from him. My breath was stuck in my throat facing her silence. My heart aches realizing maybe he's disappointed by my negligence. Then I stood up, but for a moment did not know what to do.

I began to step out of the room to calm down for a moment, or at least to mentally prepare for Paul's rejection. I pregnant. Something grows and expects life in my stomach. I can't ignore it because it's my son.

Then I felt someone grab my hand, make me stop walking. I turned around and looked at Paul as I exhaled in despair. "I'm sorry."

"What's? Why are you apologizing? You didn't make a mistake." He swept his thumb over my face while observing my face closely. "Are you sure?" tanyakanya.

"Yes" I whispered softly while Paul cupped my face. "Are you angry?"

"Why should I be angry?" A small laugh came from his mouth. Before I could digest his words, he leaned in his face and kissed me. "I don't want to ask him. I don't want you to be disturbed." he muttered on my lips.

"What?" I retreated, then blinked a few times. "What are you talking about?"

"If I asked if you were pregnant, and you weren't, you'd be offended." Paul smiled broadly. Very, very wide.

"You know I'm pregnant?"

He rolled his eyeballs. "I'm watching you. I know every change in you, even the little things..."

"My ankles..." My tears are back. Damn hormones!

Paul laughing. "Your ankles? I'm talking about your chest."

"Yes, my ankles are fat." I covered my face with both hands.

Paul laughed again. "Love, please tell me you're just kidding."

"Did you see it?" I shook my head. "I'm so scared."

"Fear what? Afraid that your ankles are fat?" god, he seemed to be enjoying this conversation.

I looked at him while breathing out. "I'm pregnant, Paul! I'm scared to death to face this..."

"No, you don't have to be afraid. I will always accompany you, love." he murmured earnestly as he slipped his hair behind my ear. "We're going through it together. Please, don't worry."

"What if it's not a man? You want a boy, and I..."

He puffed my mouth with his mouth, then pulled me back to our table and sat me down on the chair. Then he knelt down, looking at me who was still confused and looked like a fool.

"I don't care if she's a girl or a boy as long as you're both healthy, Bianka." I was full of his words as Paul lowered his gaze toward my flat stomach, but I knew it would not be long before it would bulge.

He stretched out his hand rubbing my stomach. "You're pregnant, love." he whispered with a widening smile. "We're gonna have a kid."

"I'm a little stressed about arranging our marriage, and forgetting my syringe schedule, and..."

"I'm glad you forgot, babe. Very happy." Paul looked back at me, and I saw his eyes wet with tears.

Spontaneously I shut my mouth to see his unexpected reaction. For the second time, I saw Paul crying. First when he proposed to me in the park on the way home from his mother's house, and today I saw his tears again. Then I ducked down to hug her.

"I'll be fat and emotional." I said as I chuckled after feeling a little calmer.

Paul grinned happily. "Eh, you've been emotional since I knew you, yeah..."

I patted her on the shoulder and hugged her back tighter than I ever did to express how proud I was to have her. When I lowered my body and knelt down before him, he hugged me back.

"I love you so much, Bianka. We will be the best parents in the world." he mumbled softly as he buried his face in my hair and took a deep breath.

We broke down the hug after a while but were still kneeling on the floor. Paul looked at my face while his hand rubbed my stomach as if he was trying to feel the presence of his son.

"Just imagine how perfect the combination of our families is. I'll play ball with him and you'll treat every time we get hurt while doing it..."

I laughed as I patted her chest and wiped my tears. "I can play ball, too, Paul."

He grins. "certain. Of course, love."
