My Love Journey's

My Love Journey's
Christmas.

Author's POV.

Bianka was lying in bed with Paul. He had already opened his eyes since two hours ago, and took the time to refresh himself before starting the day. After he finished, he returned into the room and lay down at Paul's side, his gaze sweeping across the corner of his lover's face.

Paul leaned over, his head facing Bianka, his hands crossed with his head. He looks younger and fresher. Slowly, Bianka rubbed Paul's facial lines with the tip of his fingers, his touch as soft as the wind. Bianka would not disturb her sleep. He loved such peaceful moments, where only their breaths could be heard in the air.

His index finger touched the small wrinkles around Paul's eyes. The wrinkle was only vague, almost invisible, but Bianka did not consider it a problem. Because on the contrary, the lack of it actually makes Paul look more handsome. His gaze then turned to Paul's nose and lips, before leaning forward and briefly peeling there. Paul scrunched his nose and turned his head in the other direction, unwilling to open his eyes.

Bianka swung her hands and drew a random pattern on the back of Paul's neck, liking the difference in their skin color that now looks more striking. Bianka knew Paul didn't like being woken up for no apparent reason, especially after they had gone through a long night.

"Stop!" Paul hissed, his voice layered with sleepiness.

Bianka pushed her body forward and kissed Paul on the nape. "Wake up, baby."

"Nooooo! Let me sleep another hour and you can do anything after that."

"Thirty minutes." snorted Bianka, caving in and rolling to the side. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and opened them again. He still did not expect the time to pass so quickly that they arrived on Christmas morning. Bianka just wants to lie down and laze around all day with Paul. But that's not an option. They had to visit their families for Christmas.

Bianka inched to sit on the edge of the bed and glanced across the empty room, except for a mattress they used at the time and one ornate Christmas tree standing in one corner of the room. Paul stated unequivocally that it was an absolute necessity before they bought it two days ago.

Paul wants to celebrate Christmas this year in their new home, which he considers a Christmas present for both of them. And he hoped they could stay there even before architects who would overhaul the flaws here and there started working. After a while, Bianka moved out of the room.

Paul's sleep was interrupted by the sound of Bianka singing. He had not opened his eyes, thinking if he ignored her, perhaps the woman would give him time to sleep longer.

I don't want a lot for Christmas...

There is just one thing I need...

I don't care about the present...

Paul grumbled inwardly, he knew Bianka was typical of morning women. But why should it be today? Can't she go back to the room and sleep for a while?

Underneath the Christmas tree...

I just want you for my own...

More than you could ever know...

Paul felt the mattress behind him shrinking as Bianka sat there, her voice soft and soft but loud enough to wake him up. He could do nothing but smile, then roll over with his eyes closed.

Make my wish come true...

All I want for Christmas is you...

Paul felt his lover's wiggly finger pierce his chest while he continued to sing. "Open those beautiful eyes for me, Paul." whispered Bianka.

"Aw! You think my eyes are beautiful?" paul asked teasingly, his voice hoarse and heavy.

"Your eyes are beautiful and wonderful. The best gift from God." answered Bianka.

Paul chuckled, Bianka sounded like a child with a tone that was surprisingly higher than usual. Paul opened his eyes and raised his eyebrows. "alright. Me, aww..." He paused for a moment before continuing. "What's that?" his eyes widened as big as a bowl of porridge.

Paul can't turn his face away from Bianka's chest. This is totally unexpected. His eyebrows cringed. "What is that, love?" ask him again.

Paul reached out and touched the object. Wow, that's so soft.

"You can take it. It's yours." whispered Bianka, and Paul immediately complied.

He held up a puppy clutched in Bianka's chest to his hand. Small brown labrador dog. The dog whined for a second and looked up at Paul. Green eyes. He tilted his head and snorted softly then turned to look at Bianka, before looking at Paul again and licking the man's arm, his tail swaying.

Paul laughed and stretched his head. "What's his name?" He asked as he put the dog on the bed and invited him to play.

"I don't know. He's yours, you're the one who should give him a name."

Paul nodded, still toying on the bed and laughing. He was not expecting a gift at all. To be honest, Paul instead firmly told Bianka not to give him anything. But this little thing made him happy, it did not cross his mind that he wanted a dog.

"Hey, man! By what name should we call you?" ask the dog.

The tiny creature suddenly stopped jumping and squawking on the bed, its ears dangling and its eyes staring at Paul. "Oscars? Milo's? Archie?" Paul began to put out a few names, propping up his chin with his hands. The dog looked at him expressionlessly. "Jack? Nick?" He raised his head, a happy grin appearing at the corner of his lips. "I knew. We'll call you Benji!"

The dog barked and jumped with its paws, its tail swaying. Paul chuckles. "Then it's official, Benji."

Bianka watches as Paul plays with Benji, who looks like a child excited to get his favorite new toy. But, Bianka needs to make sure. "Do you like it?"

Paul puts his face forward and kisses his lover. "This is the best gift I've ever had. Thank you, love."

After a while, Paul got out of bed with Benji in his hand. He walked into the dressing room while carrying a parcel in his hand. "Open up" he said.

Bianka received the parcel, shook it at a glance and tried to second-guess its contents. "Do you think we've agreed there's no reward for this year?"

Paul shakes. "I think we both want to be happy for each other. Though it might as well be a more precise gift making me happy."

Bianka furrowed her brows, her gaze more serious. He opened the parcel and took out the contents. "Kaos?" tanyanya, confused.

"Look at the front, love." urged Paul with a grin.

Instantly Bianka was stunned to read the writing on the shirt.

...'My lover owns an heirloom.'...

"Really, Paul?" bianka Dengus. "How old are you really?"

"Lho, why? I want the whole world to know that you already have one." he replied, laughing and lowering Benji.

"Ughh! Then, I will wear it today, in front of your mother and my family. And, I'll make sure Anne knows this is what you're preparing as a Christmas present for me." threatened Bianka with a laugh when she saw Paul's face suddenly pale.

"Don't try!"

"Look at it later." replied Bianka, removing the shirt she was wearing and was about to replace it with a t-shirt given Paul.

But, Paul hastily recaptured the shirt. "I'll give it to you tomorrow."

Bianka stood up and chased after Paul, trying to snatch the shirt. "You cheated! Return my gift!" He whined and stomped on the floor with both feet.

Meanwhile, Paul just laughed, taking the time to duck grab Benji and escape from his lover's attack.
