My Love Journey's

My Love Journey's
Sebastian Out's

I didn't hear from Sebastian at all until Thursday of the following week. At first, I thought he was ignoring me but he explained that his work was busy, and we were going to meet on Panda's birthday because Louis invited him.

I strongly condemn my sister who seems to intentionally want to corner me. Now, I can only hope that the situation won't be awkward with Paul and Sebastian at the same time.

Paul and I talk on the phone every day, mostly at night. We shared whatever, about his accident and the healing process that took him up to two years, not to mention he had to train his leg strength, which was what caused him to come to me after three years. Paul also said that Ellie already has a younger brother from the marriage of Thomas and Camille, who is now seven months old. I heard from Stacey about their marriage, but never knew they had children. I told him about my meeting with my mother and my life in Jakarta.

Given the duration of those phone chats, it felt like we could chat all the time. He made me feel young, reminding me of the first time we met in the hospital. The confidence in me was round, and I had to talk to Sebastian. I don't want to accept Paul before I finish my business with Sebastian, and I plan to do it after Panda's birthday.

I arrived late at the Warner family villa because I had to finish my shift first and Yola was the first person I saw. He just got out of his car.

He looks enthusiastic. "Oh my gosh!" he said while hugging me. "I miss you."

"Oh, huh? I miss you too." I said with a smile. As usual, she came alone because her husband was workaholic. But, it did not dampen even the slightest bit of the spirit he had. He was always good at hiding his feelings even though I knew he was upset when seen from his eyes.

"Will you party tonight? Our Princess has prepared ammunition for the whole night." exclaimed Yola.

"I won't get drunk, Yola." I said.

"Does having two handsome men fighting over you not make you want to drink a little?" He winked at me.

I rolled my eyeballs. "The reality isn't as cool as you'd imagine, Say."

He's nodding. "really. This situation must be confusing, right?"

"There's no need to say it presumptuously." I grumbled.

"I'm serious," He hooked his arm to my arm. "There's something I want to tell you."

"Okay," I sisiku quietly. "What's..."

"Yola!" We turned our heads to look at Theo who was walking over while smiling and hugging Yola.

"Wow. You didn't even greet me." I shook my head.

"It's very sensitive, anyway. Come here." Come here." He pulled me into a group hug.

We laughed like happy teenagers then stepped together into the villa. This activity is not at all suitable to be called a party because Panda wants only family and some of his closest friends to come. I saw a round wooden table in the front yard of the villa that was already full of various kinds of meat and a jumbo-sized grill next to it. Dean and Louis stood there, lighting a fire.

"Where's Panda?" I asked them. Dean turned his head in a rigid robot-like motion, looking at me with a frowning face. "You why?"

Louis laughing. "He's upset that Paul and Sebastian are coming."

I put on a pretend expression of guilt. "Oh, I'm sorry..."

"Is that him?" theo said, pointing behind me with his chin.

I looked over and found Paul walking towards us. I gulped as my eyes clashed with her, looking dark and hesitant. "Hey,"

I gulped once more, closed in enjoying the scent of his body that gave me goosebumps. Unknowingly I did it for too long until someone cleared his throat. I opened my eyes. "Hey," I replied nervously.

"You must be Paul, right?" Theo started his attack with a trenchant tone.

Paul was nervous. "Yes." Yeah."

"Well, now I'm afraid I'm gonna switch teams." Theo grimaced as his gaze caught another figure behind me. "Oh, poor Sebastian."

I took a deep breath, twisted my body and smiled and greeted Sebastian. "Hey, are you coming?"

I glanced at Paul who was looking at him with a look of dislike. Suddenly nervousness attacked me. Paul is taller and his body is bigger than Sebastian, and I don't expect some kind of drama to happen on someone else's show.

Sebastian grinning. "Yes, thank you for inviting me," she smiled at Louis, then looked at Paul. "You must be Paul."

"You must be Sebastian." said Paul with a hardened jaw.

The silence was gripping for a few seconds and I turned to Yola and Theo, they just smiled while shrugging in unison. Then Paul grinned as he reached out to Sebastian. "It's nice to finally meet you."

Sebastian smiled kindly. "I feel the same way." They shook hands casually while I exhaled a sigh of relief.

"You sound more creepy on the phone" Sebastian joked.

I frowned. "wait. You guys ever talk on the phone?"

"My boss asked me to call him to recommend a house." Sebastian explained.

I looked at Paul, he smiled. "He's got good taste" he snored, shrugging his shoulders.

"I'm the best in the property world" Sebastian replied.

Paul chuckles. "I hope so."

They begin to talk about the house that Paul will buy with Sebastian's help. For a moment, I saw no competition there.

I'm approaching Yola. "What's going on?" whispered to him.

"Two people are fools?" he joked, then laughed. "Come on, let them get to know each other."

I nodded, looked at the two men once more then followed Yola and Theo into the villa. Arriving inside, we greeted the screaming children who were running around, Edward and Sean surrounded them while Panda sat on the sofa, looking at the tablet screen in his hand.

"There you are, birthday girl!" I hugged and kissed Panda's cheek. "Happy birthday, sist."

I let Panda, Yola, and Theo chat and went to another room to greet my father, my mother, and Marissa. My heart warms with this atmosphere, of course beyond the possibility that Paul and Sebastian will have a disagreement that fortunately did not happen. While talking to my father, he seemed so enthusiastic about Paul's arrival. I wonder how long it will take until he finds out everything.

Why does life always have to be like this? When you feel like everything is perfect the way you want it to be, something bad will sneak up as if you can't be in peace for even a moment. For now, that hasn't happened, but how much longer? I couldn't have met everyone who knew about my problems and Paul before we split up and had them shut up in front of my father. That's not possible. And...

"Why are you here?"

I flinched, pulling my mind back when I heard someone speak. I blinked, realizing that I was no longer with my father, and Dean was sitting next to me.

I smile. "Finding tranquility" I said in a questioning tone, then rubbed my face with both hands. Dean held out a glass of wine to me, I accepted it.

"Are you happy?" after a while we just kept quiet. I frowned and he immediately continued. "You know, your ex-husband is here, and the other guy is your current boyfriend, though I don't know how serious your relationship is." she murmured sadly.

"Why are you so interested in my personal life?"

His expression was illegible. "I've always been interested in you, Bianka." Then he blinked when he realized something. "Gosh, you must've taken me seriously all along, right?"

Now, it's my turn to gawk. "You... You really like me?" I said like a fool. I didn't think he meant it because Dean was a typical guy who would tease every woman he looked in front of his eyes, no matter old or young. Panda himself was once seduced by him.

Well, anyone who knows Dean will not take his words seriously because of his carefree nature and sometimes silly. She looked down, smiling but sad. I grimaced in my heart. Now, there's one more person that makes me feel bad. Not that I'm considering Dean for Paul and Sebastian's competition. They've just made me dizzy enough.

"That's how hard it is to be someone who can hide feelings. People will think that what comes out of your mouth is a joke."

"Dean..."

"It's okay. It's not your fault, though." He shook his head with a smile, looking sincere even though his eyes still showed sadness. I'm less serious about showing you how I feel." He lifted his wine glass and finished the contents in one gulp. "We need to get out before they call the FBI."

I'm nodding. "I'm sorry" I said as we walked.

He chuckled, his shoulders more relaxed. "Ah, no need. I'm happy enough to see you happy." He pointed towards Paul and Sebastian who were still engrossed in conversation. "So, who among them is lucky?"

I smile. "I haven't decided yet" I replied, although I already knew who I was going to accept. This is the easiest question.

Dean laughs. "You're a lousy liar,"

"Thank you for your praise" I said cynically, then laughed as I pushed her away.

Dean kept laughing until we arrived at the front yard and joined the others.

"Look who's the mascot tonight" said Marissa teasing me. He sat on the porch with my father, my mother, Edward and Sora.

I groan. "This isn't my show. After all, it wasn't me who invited them." I defended myself.

"Wah wow... Look who's upset" Edward snatched and laughed, followed by the others.

I just turned the eyeballs, left them and turned to the second group that was grilling meat. We passed the night quietly and peacefully without the commotion I imagined until the next few hours.

"Bianca,"

I looked over and found Sebastian. "Hey,"

He grins. "Hey, I'll go home."

"Oh," I said. "Okay. Let me walk to the front."

"I thought you were right about Paul and me." he muttered as we walked. "She's a pretty cool person to talk to."

I smile. "No, what I said."

Sebastian chuckles. "Did you know he was buying a house?"

I hesitated. "Uhm, I know he's planning on staying here," I should've guessed that.

"And you know he did that for you?" I looked at him, but didn't know what to say while Sebastian smiled sadly. "I know that I've lost when I saw you both."

"I'm sorry," I sighed softly.

Sebastian nodded, still smiling. "It wasn't your fault." He hesitated for a moment. "But can I say something?"

I'm nodding. "certain."

"I see your relationship with Paul is real, Bianka. There's a bond between you two. He looks at you without even realizing that he is doing it. Really, I'm a little jealous of him." He took a breath. "I just wish you could keep whatever you had in the past because he loves you so much."

He loves you very much.

I repeated his words in my mind, and I knew he was right. Paul does love me, I'm lucky he came back to me and we can fix what's wrong between us. If I could take it, why not now?

My eyes are back on Sebastian. She smiles. "We'll definitely meet again and I don't want you to feel awkward, okay?"

I returned his smile. "Yes, yeah. Thank you, Sebastian. I hope you find someone who deserves you."

"I hope so," He grinned and hugged me. "Good night."

"Good night."

I observed getting into the car and drove straight away. I felt bad, but at the same time I also felt a burden lifted off my shoulders. This should be resolved soon. Now, I'm free to do the one thing I've wanted so much over the past few days; to accept Paul.
