"I'm really proud of you, you got back to being yourself" I said, smiling sincerely at Louis.
He smokes his cigarette and blows smoke, being careful not to hit me. "me too. It's stupid, yeah." He shakes to himself. "I've never even apologized in a proper way for what I've done to you and dad..."
"Make-up is more important than just an apology, Lou. Look, dad is so happy because we want to spend some time on his birthday, and we managed to hold back from making a mess." I reminded him.
He nodded his head, threw a glance at the forest in front of us, then sighed. "I hate myself for putting him in trouble, but he always struggles to look after our family after mom's gone."
"Don't blame yourself. He left because of his own will, and that was the right thing to do after he had ruined our family. "He was a drunk, always drunk. She's not a good mother to us, we should be grateful she's gone from our lives, and lucky we still have a wonderful father, who's always there whenever you and I need her."
"You're right. Since when did your brain become so smart?" while messing with my hair.
I laughed and shrugged my shoulders. "What are you going to do in the future? Is there a more specific plan?" I asked when Louis smoked his cigarette again.
"The manager at the coffee shop where I work has hinted that I might soon take his place" Louis murmured. "That's not the kind of job I want to do until old age, but with my poor record as a former drug user and a dropout, I don't have much of a choice."
"I think it's amazing, Lou." I smiled, solemnly expressing how proud I was of her. "At least you're not homeless living on the streets."
He chuckles. "agree. You know, Lucy helped me a lot through those gloomy days. He forced me to file at least a hundred job applications after we left the rehabilitation center. He did the same. Lucy has a unique way of showing her passion, of looking at the world as if there are many opportunities, and nothing that can not be achieved, even for people like us..."
"I think you're a good couple."
"I love her so much, Bee." Louis looked at me, his eyes showing deep seriousness and solemnity.
"Aww, that's so sweet. You actually met him at the rehab center? What keeps him stuck in that place?" I was wondering, especially after I heard Paul and Lucy talk.
Louis took a breath. "His brother caught wet he was taking some kind of drugs, then sent him there immediately that day. Lucy and I joined the same counseling group, and we often chatted together after one counseling session full of donuts."
"Donate? Same favorite food, hm?" I laughed softly while Louis blushed in embarrassment.
"Absolutely. She was so outspoken to me, I thought I'd fallen in love with her after a few days of chatting."
"Black-blind?"
Louis smiled, turning his gaze back to the forest before us. We sat in the back yard seat of my father's house, while the building of the house was behind us. "He is so. I don't know how to explain it. She's a typical girl who knows what she wants and tries hard to make it happen."
I nodded in understanding, the same thing that Louis described seemed to apply to Paul as well.
"I really admire him, Bee. I want to spend the rest of my life with him." murmured Louis continued, I smiled.
"I can take it. She's an amazing girl."
As soon as Louis smoked his cigarette and put the butts on the ashtray, the back door of the house crackled open and my father emerged from there. "What's gossiping here, huh?" she asked with a warm smile and then sat down next to me and grabbed my shoulder. I hugged her.
"Just a few things about girls, dad" Louis joked, making my dad laugh. His laughter was so crisp and cheerful.
"I want to thank you guys, for everything. I know this is not very important to you, but it means a lot to me" he said in a serious tone.
I patted his chest softly. "For us too, dad." I said, leaning on his shoulder. "We do it often."
"true." Louis consented. "As long as Lucy and Paul can join."
"Of course!" Dad nodded. "I think I like them. Lucy is a nice and fun girl, while Paul is Paul Klug! I still can't believe this."
"Does that mean I'm going to have a granddaughter by Paul Klug?" Dad teases. Louis and I laughed as I patted his chest again.
I shook my head. "Dad, please.our relationship hasn't gotten to that stage yet."
"Well, how far is your relationship?" Louis wiggled his brows like a joyful little boy, making me turn my eyes with a smile.
"Serious enough that he asked me to meet him in Russia next week" I told them.
"really?" Suddenly I look so enthusiastic. "You should send a picture of yourself while you're there!"
I smiled happily. "Of course, but don't spread it. The less people know, the more time we have to relax."
"Can you guys pose a little?" Lucy suddenly walked around the chair and stood before us, a sweet and cheerful smile appearing on her lips. "I want to take your pictures."
"Good advice, babe." Louis smiles at her as Lucy pulls the phone out of her jeans pocket.
Louis curled up to me and grabbed my shoulder. We smile, dad makes a 'peace' sign with his finger while Lucy starts taking our photos.
"I'll send it to you, Lou" he said after showing us his shots. We looked so happy there, just like the family I always dreamed of.
"What are we going to do today?" I asked Lucy to sit on Louis' lap. "I have to go back to town in three hours."
"Three hours?" Lucy frowning. "That's gonna be a minute." I smiled and nodded in agreement. "I have an idea" His spontaneous and pure way of speaking can make anyone have to dislike him. "Let's take a walk in the forest, the weather is quite sunny today."
I turned to my father to see his reaction and found that he seemed to agree, and then I nodded.

My father knew the ins and outs of the forest like he knew his own palm, so he led us to a place where the beauty of nature could really be seen.
"Bianka, I'll take a picture of you!" Lucy came up to me in a hurry while shaking the phone in her hand.
I chuckled at his spirit. "Okay."
I stood by the lake, the sunlight reflecting beautifully on its surface. Lucy picked up her phone and pointed the camera at me. I smiled as I pulled my hair behind my shoulder.
After she took a photo and showed me, Lucy asked me to post it on Twitter. I think the shots are pretty good because I look so happy among the towering trees.
When we returned home, I followed Lucy's advice and posted the photo to Twitter with the short caption 'Such a lovely day'. Then just as I was ready to leave for the city, I froze as soon as I found one of the most interesting notifications on my phone screen.
@Cristiano liked your Tweet
No matter how much fun I feel now, it's not worth the pride I felt when I read Paul's comments.
@PaulKlug: Beautiful once a ️
I liked the comment, then turned off the notification. People will go crazy once they realize Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Klug are reacting to my posts. Of course, new rumors will appear without me preventing it. But I don't care.
I try to trust Paul completely. We can go through this if we have a strong belief in each other. Our relationship is not yet too strong to express love, but the one we live in now has led there. At least that's what's on my mind, and I think Paul feels the same way.
