"Thank you very much for your help! If it wasn't for you guys breaking up and distracting some of Verg just now, we would have finished!" One of the Blazers exclaimed loudly while bowing his head to Haikal's group, followed by several Blazers behind him.

Jack who led the group shook his hand "There is no need to behave like that. Right now Adele is in crisis, it's only natural that we help each other."

Blazers from the estuary wall smiled with relief knowing Jack's entourage was not a bad Blazer who was easily high-hearted and even insulted their hard work so far. They immediately led the way to the walls of the estuary after saying their thanks once more.

Jack also hands Shear who is still unconscious and bound to his chain magic to the Blazer group in order to be secured to a better place.

"By the way, is your friend over there okay? His condition looks so bad." One of the Blazers points to Heru being dragged by Verna in battered condition, offering Jack a healing pill.

"Ah, no need to think about it. Even though it looks like that, he's actually the healthiest among us." Jack tried to hold a wry smile and put on his best expression distract the Blazers from Heru who currently needs to be dealt with as soon as possible.

If it was due to Verg's attack then Jack would definitely not hesitate to accept Blazer's offer, but this was due to Heru's own stupidity so he did not want to waste the city's resources just for this trivial matter.

Haikal who heard Jack's conversation with Blazer secretly whispered to Verna, "Hey Verna, can you forgive him and heal him? Look at them starting to feel pity and want to give Heru a healing pill."

"No, let him suffer for now so that he may be deterred by his actions." Verna threw her face away from Haikal then glared at Heru who was being dragged away, "Understanding?"

Heru could not answer due to the pain all over his body, he could only nod slowly with a drop of tears dripping from his cheek. He was completely stale and inwardly promised not to say such a thing again to Verna in the future.

Haikal's entourage was directed towards a room to rest.

The Blazers in the defensive wall knew their entourage were the Blazer Finalists of the Welcome Tournament who they had witnessed some time ago through television, so they knew right now what Haikal and his friends needed was a break.

Exerting a massive attack capable of injuring tens might even reach hundreds of Normal-class Vergs at once, then facing dozens to dozens of Normal-class Vergs alone with a little help from behind is not easy even for an Advance-level Blazer, especially now that all Haikal groups are still Blazer candidates.

"No, we're here to help defend the walls, not seek shelter" Jack refused the offer of rest, "We do need rest, but our priority right now is to keep the wall defense from Verg."

The blazer smiled wryly scratching his cheek feeling awry before explaining the reason they were behaving so.

The current state of the wall is indeed alarming considering that the previous Verg attack was enough to make it difficult for them and the wall needed every help available, he said, but on the other hand if they ask Haikal's entourage to immediately fight after fighting against dozens of Verg at once it can be said child exploitation.

Haikal and the others were indeed stronger than the average Blazer candidate and were as helpful in the battle against Verg as before, but apart from them they were not official Blazers, either, haikal's entourage is still a naive teenager who hasn't seen the real battleground of the Blazers.

The real experience is much more terrifying than the class.

"And the most important thing is. determination to continue the fight even though your comrades, friends, family, and lovers died in the middle of the battle," blazer said, closing his explanation while biting his lips to remember something unpleasant.

Haikal found Blazer's expression in agony, trying to forget something he didn't want to see. Haikal lowered his head a little to understand the feeling, but only for a moment.

Haikal then looked at Salvia who was beside him, Cecil who was sitting recovering his soul energy as quickly as possible, Verna who was secretly forgiving and healing Heru, was there, then last Jack who turned out to look at him with a smile filled with sadness.

They looked at each other for a moment before Jack nodded slowly understanding the Blazer's explanation intent, but he remained steadfast in his desire to help, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but with all due respect if we don't understand that then we won't be here."

"We understand the risks and we want to help as much as we can" Jack concluded, persuading Blazer before him.

The blazer wanted to say something intending to once again persuade Jack and the others to rest in peace in this room, but he saw the attitude of Haikal, Salvia, Verna, Cecil, even Heru who was still lying covered in wounds on the floor was not something that was easily extinguished.

"Alright, then I will tell the Chairman," said the Blazer with a warm smile, unable to undo Haikal's intention and others to join the fight.

After saying so, the Blazer left the room and let them rest, but before that Haikal interjected, "Excuse me, is there a public phone that can be used in this place? I want to make sure my family's safety."

"I'm sorry, but there's no such thing in this place." Blazer's immediate response disappointed Haikal, "Oh, if you're willing we can contact the evacuation site and check your family's safety using military communications."

"Then please do that." Haikal immediately gave information about Saren and his mother, Leila. Of course he did not forget the Heru family.

He didn't need to ask about the Verna and Cecil families because both of them were nobles who had their own private bunkers, then his gaze was shifted to Jack, "What about you, Jack? You don't want to ask about your family?"

Jack who was daydreaming immediately realized upon hearing Haikal's worries. She smiled faintly rejecting Haikal's offer, "No need, my family is already in a safe place."

"Is that so." Haikal nodded after making sure all the information was correct before the Blazer left.

Haikal then sat on the chair with a sigh, he closed his eyes and quietly prayed in his heart about the safety of his family, "Please let nothing happen to them, then...."

"Don't let anything bad happen to them, too" Haikal looked at Jack's entourage in turn.

Haikal lost his father when he was a child, and lost someone valuable to him two years ago. He did not want the world to take away his loved ones any more than this.
