57. Light Chat in the Hospital

Verna's appearance in the hospital was a little surprising and made Haikal wonder, but the arrival of Jack and Cecil did not cross his mind at all.

"Don't strain so dong, Haikal. We just came to see Salvia" Jack shrugged his shoulders without letting out a smile on his lips.

Haikal did not immediately believe Jack's words that sounded suspicious, considering he experienced a dangerous situation a few hours ago. He could not let go of his vigilance despite being in the hospital though.

Seeing the tension between the two, Salvia cleared her throat slightly attracting Haikal and Jack, "Haikal, Jack came to see me. There's no need to be suspicious of Jack to the extent, right?"

Thanks to Salvia's words, Haikal let out a long sigh and then looked back at Jack, "I'm sorry, Jack. Some time ago I was attacked by someone, so my skepticism doesn't go away easily."

"You're under attack?" Jack frowned feeling a little annoyed at the figure attacking Haikal, while on the bed Salvia looked worried.

Haikal who saw Salvia's reaction smiled slightly, "No need to worry so, Salvia. I'm okay, co." He then showed the condition of his right arm which was much better than before.

"Is that so? It's good if that's the case," muttered Salvia was relieved to see Haikal's condition was truly unharmed.

"Haikal, if you don't mind can you tell me?" Jack asked, looking at Haikal quite seriously.

Haikal looked at Jack's face for a moment to look for something that might be suspicious of the handsome young blonde, but he found nothing but seriousness Jack wanted to hear the details of the attack on him and Heru.

Haikal sighed for a moment before returning to the chair available in the room after reacting to Jack's sudden appearance. He then looked at Salvia for a moment before explaining, "Salvia, you better listen too."

"You think I'm the one who doesn't care? Especially with his group of friends during the tournament?" Salvia puffed her cheeks with a sullen face disliked by Haikal's words that sounded like she was a cruel person.

Haikal wanted to deny Salvia's words, but he didn't want to waste so much time that he just shrugged his shoulders briefly before explaining the chronology of the cloaked figure's assault on her and Heru in detail.

Jack's eyebrows shot high enough when Haikal offended the knife-wielding Blazer, "Knives Drive you say?"

"Right, and he's not a regular Knives Drive user." Haikal added that the cloaked figure was even able to control tens to hundreds of knives at a time, "The head of the school has also checked that he is one of the Blackout members who infiltrated the city."

"Blackout?" Jack reacted again to the organization's name, making Haikal frown, "You know something about that?"

Jack looked into Haikal's eyes knowing that the young man in front of him was suspicious of him, he dropped his gaze on the floor and pondered for a moment before answering Haikal's question, "Not much, it's just that I'm a little curious."

"Curious?" Haikal's brows twitched in response to Jack's statement.

The blond young man squinted his eyes at Haikal, "Don't you know? Adele is a major city in all of Wulodhasia, but there is nothing really special about this city other than its vastness. Why are they targeting this town?"

Hearing Jack's statement, Haikal realized the fatal thing. He fused his hands together just under his chin before starting to look for possible Blackout goals to target Adele.

As Haikal and Jack were both silently pondering over the matter, Salvia suddenly chanted, "Isn't it because of the existence of Skymaze Academy?"

Haikal's and Jack's views were immediately sidetracked on Salvia as the silvery-white-haired girl expressed her opinion, "Right as well!" Both of them simultaneously felt enlightened.

Salvia and Cecil pat themselves on the forehead watching Haikal and Jack forget that Skymaze Academy is one of three academies established specifically to educate Blazer candidates throughout Wulodhasia.

Blazers are one of the most expensive and dangerous professions in the world today, there was no denying it to a dark organization like Blackout where a kind of Skymaze Academy was a place that had to be obliterated immediately so as not to obstruct their unknown destination.

The reason for Blackout's assault on the students participating in the Welcome Tournament was also not too far away from it. Although it is not yet known for certain the original purpose of Blackout, people as stupid as anything can certainly at least realize this.

"Why didn't I realize that...."

"How stupid am I...."

The rare sight invites laughter from Cecil and Salvia which ends the two of them staring at each other for a moment, "For a long time no see, Cecil. You okay?"

"Yes, is sa-Salvia better?"

It is seen that Salvia and Cecil already know each other, and, this made Haikal wonder about the relationship between the two but was soon answered when he remembered the status of these two girls both came from noble families.

Wulodhasia's royal family did not hold parties between noble families as in Wileshia, but at least there was a special banquet of nobles held once a year. Maybe that's where Salvia got to know Cecil.

"Oh, it looks like you're fine, Salvia," said Verna who appeared from behind the door after knocking several times, followed by Heru's figure who looked so different from usual.

"Verna, what are you doing with your girlfriend?" Salvia asked slightly surprised at the expression Heru had just seen for the first time.

"No need to worry, he just gave me a little lesson," Verna replied briefly with a meaningful smile then turned her gaze to Heru, "Right, right, dear?"

Heru shuddered as soon as Verna offended him. He threw his face in the opposite direction, "I-that's right...."

Despite not seeing what Heru's face looks like at the moment, Salvia's voice alone can tell Verna is really giving 'a little' a lesson for Heru.

"I've heard of their relationship from Haikal, but this..," said Salvia in heart really can't guess what Verna actually did to Heru until the young man was as scared.

After giving up trying to figure out what happened between Verna and Heru, the six of them broke up like schoolmates. Of course, most of the talks are filled by the condition of Salvia which is actually still far from prime.

Without feeling the time pass quickly while chatting with each other, the sky has darkened. Verna's group went home first while Haikal and Heru were still in Salvia's room, but before Verna returned to commemorate Heru.

"If I find you 'playing' with another woman again, Heru.... You know what I'm doing?" Verna's gaze was so cold when stating this, making Heru nod obediently without thinking twice with a pale face.

Neither Haikal nor Salvia could guess what Verna had actually done to Heru until he became so pale and obedient, but both of them immediately gave up not daring to imagine a single inch.

"Well Salvia, do you think you can make it in time for this week's finals?" Haikal asked suddenly, successfully frowning Heru and turning Salvia's expression into gloom in an instant.

Salvia looked at her two hands which she was tightly clenched in, "If I do rehab two days sooner, then I will most likely be able to arrive on time."

"That's it...." Haikal rubbed his chin hearing Salvia's statement.

In previous talks Salvia revealed that he will carry out the rehabilitation process tomorrow and takes at least five to seven days, while the final round of the tournament will start exactly two days before Salvia completes her rehabilitation.

"Can't you use Red Liquor or something?" Haikal asked seriously.

"Haikal, Red Liquor only speeds up the regeneration process, not rehabilitation. You're forgot?" Salvia chuckled at Haikal's silly question.

Haikal held his chin back to think of other ways that might speed up Salvia's rehabilitation process, then a little later he got an idea, "Salvia, I have an ineffective but powerful idea. Interested in trying?"

Salvia and Heru's eyebrows shot up at the same time hearing Haikal's idea.
